Secrets, secrets are no fun unless you share with everyone! Can anyone guess what is happening with our favorite Witch? Hmmm, maybe we will learn a bit more about this mystery...

Mount Justice

Everyone but Artemis, Robin, and Kaldur were gathered around Conner's bike, watching Wally work on it. He asked for a tool from M'gann, complimenting her when she handed it to him. Kaldur approached the group.

"I've been meaning to ask...any problem juggling school work with your responsibilities here?"

"Nope." Conner replied easily.

"Juggling is just one of my many talents." Pietro shrugged.

"Daily cheerleading practice has presented a challenge." M'gann pondered. "Oh, but my first loyalty is always to the team. This team, not the Bumblebees."

"Artemis starts school today. Do you think she will have trouble maintaining her loyalties?" Kaldur prodded.

Wanda narrowed her eyes. "I think Artemis will be just fi-"

An explosion cut her off, throwing everyone in various directions. Water began to pour into the room as Wanda struggled to sit up. She looked around for her friends, not seeing them anywhere. She got up and ran for an exit, sensing that her friends were still alive and conscious.

Wanda made it to the mission room just as another ball of fire came flying her way. She dove to the side, her cape getting singed. She tore it off, turning to face her attacker. Her eyes widened. "R-red Tornado?" The android did not reply, just threw more fire at her. "Okay, not Tornado."

She threw up a force field just in time, holding it in place as she ran down a tunnel leading to the library. She figured she could lose them in the books. As she was running, she reached out to the rest of the team telepathically.

Pietro! M'gann! Kaldur! Conner! Wally! Anyone! Are you alright?

Nngh...Wanda?

No, Artemis. Yes, Wanda!

Red Tornado's psycho siblings captured us. They have M'gann and Kaldur in some sort of fire cage. Conner, Wally, and myself are stuck in some concoction. We can't break free. Where are you?

I'm in the library. I'm trying to let Artemis and Robin know not to come to the cave but I can't reach them. Any chance M'gann-

She is out cold.

Damnit! I don't know what to do! I can't take on two Red Tornadoes and I can't reach anyo-

Wanda, stay calm. Panicking is not going to help anyone.

Okay, okay. You're right. You're right.

Sister, you are a powerhouse. If anyone can take on two Tornadoes it is you.

Wanda knew what she had to do, consequences to her own health be damned. She took in shuddering breaths, trying to calm her racing heart. Kaldur was right, panicking wouldn't do anyone any good.

She heard the announcement of Robin and Artemis' arrival and felt her heart beat quicken right back up. She knew she had to go help them so she got off the library floor and ran back to the mission room, nearly tackling Robin as she did so.

"Wanda! Man, am I glad to see you. What's going o-"

"No time to explain, follow me!" Wanda grabbed Robin's wrist, tugging him along as Artemis followed behind, shooting arrows at their pursuers. She led them back to the library, tugging them behind a bookcase to hide from the androids.

Okay, so, I don't know much of what is going on. All I know is there was an explosion, most of the team is captive, and our attackers are Red Tornado's siblings.

What? Red Tornado has siblings?

Apparently. They have M'gann and Kaldur in a fire cage, which obviously isn't good. And the other three are in some concoction, Pietro didn't give me many details. But I looked through his mind and it looks like they are in a cement mix, stuck in place. How are we going to handle this?

Have you contacted the Justice League?

I've been trying to but nobody is within range of my telepathy.

"Attention Artemis, Robin, and Scarlet Witch. You have ten minutes to surrender yourselves or your teammates' lives are forfeit."

What do we do?! We can't possibly take out two powerhouses! Our team, our friends- my brother - are all going to die if we do-!

Wanda! Calm down! We need to think about this.

Think? Think!? If we do not go out there now, my brother dies. Our friends die. That will be on us.

We need a plan of action.

I have a plan- act.

Wanda-!

Wanda ignored Robin and Artemis, shutting them out of her head as she made her way towards the hangar. She paused, sensing something was off. Pressing herself against the wall, she peeked around the corner to assess the situation. She saw Kaldur and M'gann in the fire cage, not looking too good. She saw Pietro, Conner, and Wally in their cement prison, water rising quickly. She gasped quietly, feeling her fear and anger come back in spades. Wanda noticed the two Reds standing by the fire cage. Taking in a deep breath, Wanda propelled herself down to meet them, hands raised up in a surrender position.

"I surrender! I do not know where Robin and Artemis are, but I surrender! You win." She said, holding her voice steady. The two androids approached her and Wanda caught Pietro's eye, a look of terror on his face. Wanda felt something inside her snap. She lashed out with the full force of her scarlet energies, hitting the red androids with a frontal attack. She threw psionic bolt after psionic bolt, eyes glowing with rage. "You dare come into my home and attack my friends, my family?"

Wanda lifted the androids into the air, smashing them down on the ground repeatedly. She continued her attack, ignoring the ringing in her ears and the spots in her vision until she could no longer, being brought to her knees by the pressure building in her head. She looked at the androids, laying on the ground as her vision doubled and she toppled over, tasting a now familiar metallic flavor on her lips. Wanda let unconscious take her, thinking the threat gone.

Artemis and Robin watched from their perch as the androids got up, melting Wanda to the ground like they did her brother.

"What do we do now?" Artemis hissed.

Robin smirked. "I have a plan."

After creating their EMP with Wally's guidance, they put it into place. Robin ended up getting caught, so it all fell to Artemis. She managed to pull off the shot, setting the EMP off and shutting the androids down. Once the androids were down, the water stopped rising and the fire cage disappeared, freeing M'gann and Kaldur.

Red Tornado entered the cave to find his charges in shambles. He asked what occurred and Artemis told him his siblings attacked.

"I was not aware I had relations."

The machine that Artemis and Robin were going to use to cut everyone out of the cement came back online, meaning the EMP wore off, just as Red Tornado was investigating the other Reds. He turned on the team, sucking the air out of the room until they blacked out.

When everyone came back to the land of consciousness, the Justice League was there. Pietro immediately was at his sister's side, as him, Wally, and Conner were cut out first. He waited patiently until Wanda was free before hugging her tightly. "Wanda, don't you ever do something as stupid as that again!"

"What happened to 'you're a powerhouse, sister, you can take 'em!'?" Wanda wheezed.

Pietro grinned sheepishly. "You are still a powerhouse. But whatever they did to you really did a number on you."

Yeah, whatever they did to me.
