CH 1: Troll Tower
Kavod watched as the trolls began piling up on each other at the bottom of the hill in front of his castle. The trolls held cavetroll-type clubs.
As they were piling up on each other to make a tall tower of trolls, Kavod simply walked over to the bottom troll, who was being climbed on, and poked him with his sword, the Sword of Death.
The bottom troll yelped and jumped, well, tried to jump, causing the trolls above him to topple and fall over, crushing the bottom troll.
Branchstorm was already at the top of the hill, with Beastly Lightbeak and Slayer Clawbrood, the two dragons were soaring above the hill in a circle.
The eighteen trolls that were left charged at Kavod, their clubs above their heads, ready to strike.
Kavod braced himself for the mass of trolls, but Branchstorm whistled to the two dragons flying above. Before the trolls could reach him, Slayer swooped down and picked up Kavod gently with his claws, carrying him to the top of the hill.
His half-brother was waiting at the top of the hill and was sitting on Beastly's back, ready to fly if needed. Slayer set Kavod down on the grass next to Beastly and Branchstorm, then landed next to Kavod.
"We cannot hold off so many trolls at one time, Kavod. Especially after sunset," Branchstorm informed his half-brother, "but we can ask the nearby village if they can assist us with our, should I say, stinky problem."
Kavod agreed to Branchstorm's idea and got on his own dragon to fly to the village. Once Kavod was ready to fly on the Clawbrood dragon, they took off and headed for the village.
They landed on a clear plot of land by the buildings, got off their dragons, and went to an inn to ask some knight elves, pardon the pun, if they could help battle the trolls.
Seven armored elves agreed to the task as long as they would receive a reward of 10 Shekels. Branchstorm and Kavod accepted their request and so, the nine elves departed to the Land of the Branches, two of the elves being Kavod and Branchstorm; the remaining seven elves being the knight elves.
They traveled by dragon; Branchstorm called over the rest of the Lightbeaks, who had grown to be almost the same size as Beastly, so the knight elves would be able to travel with them at the same speed.
When they got there, the nine elves started battling the eighteen trolls. They slashed their swords and only nine trolls remained, for nine elves fought one troll each.
The dragons, the Lightbeaks and one Clawbrood, breathed frost and fire at the trolls; the Lightbeaks froze the trolls, so the elves could defeat them easily, while Slayer Clawbrood burned a few to a temperature you wouldn't want your toast to be toasted to. The last three escaped to Troll Land, but the elves were safe...for now.
Branchstorm and Kavod flew with the knight elves to the village and paid them their ten Shekels. The knight elves waved goodbye to the two half-brothers when they were about to head back to the Land of the Branches.
