The Whole Story
Chapter 1: Land of the Elves
It was a dark and scary time.
In the Land of the Branches, Alderlocks roamed the land. Alderlocks were walking trees as tall as Oaks. They had branches for arms. There was a young elf named Branchstorm who ruled the Land of the Branches. He gave the trees the power to move around and took care of them.
Whenever there was a woodchopper (a lumberjack), Branchstorm would protect the trees by using one of his spells: Woodchopper's End. If a woodchopper got too close to one of the trees and cut it down, Branchstorm would use Healer's Generosity to heal the tree and then he would take care of the woodchopper.
It wasn't always fun and games in the Land of the Branches. There were packs of Devious Hounds that were reddish-brown and had red stripes on them that looked like claw slashes. There were Possessed Monkeys that looked like monkeys, but walked like zombies. There were Mutated Giraffes that did not have long necks like normal giraffes and just looked like yellow horses with brown spots and knobs on their heads. There were many other creepy creatures that roamed in the shadows. These creatures were created by the evil elf, Kavod.
Kavod wanted the Alderlocks destroyed. He hated how Branchstorm protected the stupid trees. After he destroyed them, he would make his own evil trees.
But there was only one thing everyone should know before meeting either one of these elves: they were half-brothers.
Kavod's full name was Kavod Silverlyre and Branchstorm's full name was Branchstorm Glowwing.
They were half-brothers because Branchstorm's mother got divorced and married his step-dad. They had Kavod together.
You see, you weren't allowed to have two elves with the same elf. It was against the Elven Law.
So Kavod thought of a way to get the trees killed. Finally, he smiled sinisterly.
Chapter 2: Kavod's Plan
Kavod decided to go see the blacksmith and get a customized sword. He got there and asked for a grey sword with flames and skulls engraved on it. The blacksmith created the sword and Kavod gave him five Shekels, gold coins with an picture of an elf ear on both sides.
Kavod left the blacksmith's shop and returned to his home, a dark red-bricked castle at the bottom of the hill of the Land of the Branches. He went down to the Plan Corridor, where he had scrolls with his home-made plans written on them, stored on the walls in rungs. He counted down to the last one he ever made: "Destroying Alderlocks".
Kavod took the parchment down and read it quickly. He smiled to himself and put it back on the rung. Then he traveled to the Library of Spells.
After opening the door, Kavod searched for the Book of Dark Magic. He found it in a corner next to a bookshelf, on a pedestal that was engraved with skulls on the sides. Kavod opened the book to "Dark Tree Spells". The book listed every kind of dark spell for every tree in the Land of the Elves.
Then he found it. The spell he should've used a long time ago: "Alderlock's Fall".
Kavod laughed sinisterly and returned to his castle. He grabbed the Sword of Death, he named for the one with grey skulls and flames engraved on it. It was time for the Alderlocks to die. Branchstorm would not take care of another Alderlock for a long time.
Kavod ran out the door and towards the Land of the Branches. He found a hiding place and hid. He stayed silent, his cold eyes watching the ground. Finally, the victim and owner of the trees came into view.
Chapter 3: Beastly Lightbeak
Branchstorm was busy feeding the baby Lightbeaks, white dragons with turquoise eyes and vanilla claws, spikes, and horns. He had a favorite Lightbeak: Beastly.
Beastly had been adopted by Branchstorm, for he had no mother. The poor dragon was found lying in the middle of the Forest of Creatures, along with his brothers and sisters and cousins and so forth.
Beastly was the oldest out of every Lightbeak. He was 12 feet tall and wore a gold necklace that had a gem that matched the color of his eyes. Branchstorm made it for him so he could know which one was him.
Branchstorm protected the dragons from hunters that were trying to destroy the magnificent creatures. He fed them, healed them, and even trained them to fly.
Beastly was going to fly for the first time today. Branchstorm used the "Elf's Quick Guide to Dragon Flying" book and found the instructions that he needed to use to teach Beastly how to fly.
He told Beastly what to do and the dragon understood. Beastly flapped his powerful wings and rose into the air. Soon enough, he was flying all over the place. Of course, he wouldn't just keep the fun all to himself; he let Branchstorm ride on him, too.
They flew into the air and did flips and turns. They even flew towards the ground, near the younger dragons and Branchstorm could reach out and pet them. As they were flying, there was a rustling of leaves near the dragons on the ground. None of the dragons noticed, nor Branchstorm or Beastly. Little did they know, Kavod was watching.
Chapter 4: Mud Ball Fight
Kavod had seen his half-brother flying in the air on that stupid dragon of his. But little did he know, the tree that he was in was an Alderlock. This clever tree knew what he was up to and swatted the devious elf out of its branches. Kavod hit the ground.
Suddenly, every single dragon, including Beastly, and Branchstorm looked at him. He was covered in leaves and, being the clumsy elf that he was, had fallen into a mud pit.
Branchstorm flew down to him, got off his faithful dragon, put his hand out to Kavod, and said, "Do you need help?"
Kavod reached for his hand. Branchstorm took his half-brother's hand, but then the sneaky elf pulled him into the mud pit. He started making mud balls with the mud around him and threw them at Branchstorm.
Branchstorm dodged them and laughed. He picked up some mud, made it into a ball, and returned the throw. They were throwing mud ball after mud ball.
Soon, the Lightbeaks joined in, throwing the mud with their tails. Kavod forgot about his plan to destroy the trees because he was too busy having fun.
They finally stopped throwing mud. Night came and the two elves got out of the mud pit. Branchstorm used the Fire incantation to start a fire on some unused logs that were lying on the ground.
Kavod remembered the sword he had gotten earlier that day and showed it to his half-brother. Branchstorm was amazed at the sword. They spent time with each other every day from then on; brother-to-brother.
