No, I Do NOT Need a Sink Plunger!!!!

Aru's POV

Aru and Aiden were in the middle of Lord of the Rings when Aru heard Mini's super loud Pandava-message.

Everyone, meet at Aru's in five! There's something super important! Like, super important!

Can this wait? Aru grumbled over the mind link.

No! This is a matter of national security!

Aru sighed. Everything with Mini was a matter of national security.

"The Potatoes are coming in five," Aru sighed, burying her head in Aiden's shoulder. "Mini says it's a matter of national security."

"Like the time she said that her sink overflowing was a matter of national security?"

"Yep." Aiden grabbed the remote and tried to turn the movie off, but before he could, Aru pounced and grabbed it.

"Lord of the Rings stays ON," she hissed. Aiden shrugged, used to her obsession. This happened every time.

Mini burst into the museum. She was pulling a little red wagon. In the wagon was the limp body of a teenaged girl. She was facedown, and all Aru could see was her mop of blonde hair.

"Mini, I always knew this day would come," Aru said quickly, rushing to her sister's side. "It's okay. I'm sure she deserved it."

"Aru -"

"Mini, shush. I'll get a trash bag. We can bury her out front...."

"Aru, NO!" Mini yelled. "What the heck! She's just unconscious!" Aru slumped, disappointed.

"Oh. Okay."

"She came to my house, asking for an address that doesn't exist. She could read my mind, Aru."

"Eh, I doubt it-"

"No! SHE READ MY MIND." The rest of the Potatoes chose that moment to burst through the front door. "I brought the sink plunger!" yelled Rudy. "I brought lasagna," Brynne announced. "I brought nothing," said a dejected Sheela. Nikita sniffed. "I brought my superior sense of style."

Mini sat them all down on the couch and explained what had happened. Aru glanced at the girl. She didn't look special - but then again, she was facedown and unconscious. Maybe she had cool red glowing eyes or something like that.

Aiden was eating Brynne's lasagna straight out of the container. He held up his fork. "Maybe we could just drop her off somewhere - like a hotel or something - and let her be."

"You're such an Ammamma. We should take her to the Otherworld and throw her in jail!"

"Guys, she's waking up!" Mini said.

Sophie's POV

Sophie groggily sat up. "What the-" She was sitting in a rather uncomfortable red metal wagon. Her head was pounding. She vaguely remembered being knocked out by a girl.

The same girl who was now checking her pulse.

Sophie yanked her hand back. "Hey, it's okay, I'm here to help," the girl - Mini - said. Sophie raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, here to help after you knocked me out with your giant stick!"

"Hey, you're a demon! That's standard Otherworld procedure!" Sophie rubbed her temples, trying to block out the thoughts of all the Potatoes.

"A demon? What?"

She looked up and saw a girl sitting on a couch, staring at her. She looked very familiar...it was her long braid that gave it away. "Hey! You're Swedish Fish girl!" The girl's eyes narrowed.

"I'm Aru, actually, and the correct title is Swedish Fish Queen. And you are the Swedish Fish Killer, hmm?" A boy, the same one who had been with her earlier, rolled his eyes and sighed.

"I'm Aiden," he said. "Obviously, this has been some sort of misunderstanding. Mini here thinks you can read minds. Is that true?" Sophie looked at Mini.

Yes, she is, Aiden, you can't convince me otherwise. Duh. SHE FREAKING READ MY MIND. Whoa, I need to calm down. Overstressing can lead to DEATH. I think.

Sophie sighed. There was no way out of this one.

"Yes, I can," she said, tensing when every person in the room gasped in fear, "But don't worry. I don't delve into your secrets or whatever, and I'm definitely not a demon. Although honestly, if those were real, I wouldn't be surprised anymore. I'm actually an elf."

The Potatoes went silent.

"You know, I think some introductions and explanations are in order," Aiden finally said. "Why don't we all sit down, and we can have a little talk."
