*Flashback*

"It's your fault ! " says Leo.

"What do you mean it's my fault ?" Replied Rory.

"You are cover and your darn powers. Are family could be in danger because of you. You just had to go out. " says Leo.

"Well sorry I didn't wanna stay home. Do you know how boring it gets waiting here all day doing nothing. Imagine just staring at the same stuff everyday. You never convince the kids to take me anywhere. "

"You don't have to go anywhere you know !"said Leo.

"Are you ashamed of me ? You do you even like me ?"asked Rory.

Yes..yes I am ashamed of you. Do you know what's like to have a little sisters who's different ? Also your the runt on the litter so I should be ashamed of you. "

Rory's eyes started to tear up 

"W..well if that's how y....you f..feel" replied Rory.

Rory was so hurt she took off running.

"LEO !"said Macy raising her voice.

"Oh..uh hi mama" said Leo.

"I expect you to apologies to Rory. She's your little sister and you should know better." 

"But..mom"

"Nope go think about what you did but I want you to come up with apologie."

~Meanwhile with Rory ~

Rory was do sad and upset. Rory can't help but cry.

"Hello little dog ?"

Rory didn't replie.

"I know you can talk but it's okay if you don't. I saw what happened back there. I know your hurt from you brothers words." 

"H..how do you know about that ?"

"I know a lot Rory.  I especially know a lot about animals. If fact I travel all over and observe animals but I mostly hunt them. You see Rory I'm a hunter."

Rory couldn't help but gulp

"You h..hunt animals but why ?"

"It's just something I do. I enjoy it. In fact I have hunted every type of animal."

"Oh ok...look I should be going now and I'm not really supposed to talk to strangers or take stuff from them."

"That's very wise of your parents Rory."

"Wait how do you know my name ?" Rory asked but when she turned around he was gone. 

"Well that's starnge. I should be going "

Rory went home but went straight to the backyard. She sat there and looked at the stars. Looking at the star's made Rory relaxed. After a while her mother noticed her sitting down. She went outside and sat by her daughter.

"You know he didn't mean it. He was just upset. "

"He's upset because I'm different. He just doesn't get me. He doesn't get that I can't change the way I was born."

"I never he didn't get you but your right you can't change the way your born. Your different and that's a good thing."

"What do hoodabout being different ? I don't understand why I was born with these powers. I don't understand why I was born the runt. He hates me and will just have to live with the fact that my big brother hates me !"

Before Macy could reply Carlos heard the whole conversation and came outside.

"Macy... Can you please leave me and Rory out here alone. I really need to talk to her."

"Yeah sure."

"So I heard the whole conversation. What was all that about ? "

"I was nothing...it's just a decision about me being different or should I say freak."

Carlos chuckled 

"It's not funny Dad "

"I know it's not and I'm sorry but it is funny. "

"Then why did you laugh ?"

"I laughed because what's so fun about being the same. Rory you can't fit in if you were born to stand out. Your born different for a reason. People will judge you for being different but most of the people who do judge anmre jealous. 

"Why would anyone be jealous with these freakish powers ?"

"Rory let me tell you something my father told me. Imagine a world were everyone is the same. Life wouldn't be fun if everyone's the same. Yeah there are people who have things in common or have everything in common and that's okay but there is a part in everyone that make them different. "

"But I feel so alone."

Carlos looked Rory in the eyes

"You are never alone. I believe one day you will find someone who has so much in common with you. Maybe this someone or something will have the same powers of you."

"You really think so ?".

"I know so ."

After awhile they went inside and went to bed but when it was 3am Rory was woken up by Leo.

"Leo ?"

"Look Rory I just wanted to say thatI'm-"

But before he could finish there was a loud bang on the door.
