Dear Hannah,
You knew I had visited your house. Courtesy of the notes I had dropped in front of the door. You came to my place and started apologizing profusely.
You said that you had originally planned to go grocery shopping with your mom. But then Kyle came and your mom advised you to stay at home and entertain the guest.
Guest, my ass.
I never came to know, who is Kyle? One of your ex-boyfriends, close friend or just a classmate? Who was he to you? Why were you so close?
Anyway, you said sorry to me for your half-truth and half-lie and I forgave you. What else could I have possibly done?
You tried to kiss me but I moved away and you went home, disappointed.
That night you called me up saying you couldn't sleep. Serves you right for making me lose mine the other night.
You tried to convince me to serenade you to sleep with my so called 'melodious' voice. Your words, not mine. I obviously didn't do that. I hung up pretty quickly shortly after I heard you muttering, 'I love you'.
I couldn't decide if I should jump around the house in happiness or sulk. I didn't know if you lying or not.
Everything about you is hella confusing. You drive me mad most of the time and I don't know what to do.
The next day I decided I'd forgive you. We met up after school and you sounded so happy when I told you that I was forgetting this incident.
We ended up making out in the backseat of my car.
After the make out session, we went to the nearby ice-cream parlor and stuffed our faces with the brain freezing goodness. We tried catching up on the things that had occurred in our lives while we weren't on talking terms.
Turned out, Kyle was visiting you because his parents wanted him to invite your family to their house party.
I slept peacefully that night. I was happy to have made peace with you. I was not even angry on Kyle. His purpose to go to your house seemed legitimate enough.
But I was wrong. Dead wrong.
