Ella-May was never upset about the fact that everyone in school(except me) hated her. She never tried to change herself and I love her for that.

Today was no different except for what happened near the end of the day...

Towards the end of lunch, I decided to get out there and make more friends. However, nobody wanted me to hang out with them.

The jocks said no.

The cool kids said no.

The skaterz said no.

The punks said no.

The nerds said no.

The dancers said no.

And the cheerleaders said no.

One clique I forgot to mention, the jokers, were the only ones that wanted me around. But that was before I realized that the joke was on me.

I decided if nobody was going to be my friend(except of course Ella-May), I should at least make the most of the one friend I do have.

Ella-May.

At the end of lunch, this one girl, Janice, who was a cool kid said she and her friends felt sorry for me and Ella-May and she asked us if we could hang out with her and her friends at the mall after school.

We said yes.

It seemed like me and Ella-May wouldn't be hated by everyone after all!

We had no idea how wrong we were...
