Twelve hand selected people stand on individual pedestals waiting for their names to be called to enter the house they have waited all summer to join.

They are all practically buzzing with excitement.

They just want to get inside and start the game already.

The host smiles and grabs the microphone from a worker. "Four names will be called at a time. Two girls and two boys. Those four will enter the house first. Followed by the next four and then the last group of four." She explains. "And the first four to enter are," she pauses to look around at the excited contestants.

A drummer slams his sticks on the drums and creates a drumroll to get the anticipation going.

"MACIE, BROOKE, HAYDEN, AND PAUL!" She shouts and everyone cheers with excitement, especially the first four that have been selected.

The four lucky contestants step forward.

"Are you all ready to enter the house and be secluded from the rest of the world for the next ten weeks?" She asks, already knowing their answer.

They all nod and express their excitement all at once.

"Okay then. Open the doors!" She shouts and points to the big, heavy doors that will keep them locked inside the house. The doors open and the house guests run inside.

They come to a closed off hallway. The first set of doors close behind them and the second set opens, revealing the inside of the house.

"Ahh!" Everyone shouts as they run to find the beds they will be sleeping in for the remainder of the show until they are eliminated.

The rooms are arranged in sets upstairs. Four rooms of three beds.

They throw their bags on top of the beds they have selected and run around to find the others so they can introduce themselves.

"Hi!" Macie smiles at the other girl she entered with. "I am Macie. You are Brooke right?" She asks to be sure.

Brooke smiles. "Yes, indeed I am." She shakes her hand lightly and moves on, spotting a handsome man. "Why hello there." She twirls her hair around her recently manicured fingers. "I'm Brooke." She holds her hand out to Hayden, whom she has taken a romantic interest in already.

Macie watches the interaction and sighs. Brooke is just another girl who is hopelessly obsessed with boys.

The four of them all turn around to see the doors opening. The next four contestants enter. Casey, Jamie, Saylor, and Marcus run around hugging the others.

Introductions are made. They hug. They laugh. They smile. But secretly, they are all planning to win and take everyone else out of this game so they take home that prize money.

But just how far will they go to take home that cash?

"Go pick your beds! Quick! Before the others get here!" Paul shouts pointing up the stairs towards the rooms.

Molly, Bridgette, Ryan, and Wilson all run inside and follow the others up the stairs to get themselves a place to sleep before they begin introducing themselves.

The inside of the house is exploding with energy as the noise level is almost deafening.

"Okay everyone! How about we all sit on the couch and introduce ourselves?" Molly suggests to the group.

Everyone agrees and runs downstairs to find a spot on the couch.

"Okay well, I'm Molly. I'm 25 and single! Wooh!" She shakes her chest and bounces in the air. Molly loves to be the center of attention.

Molly sits down and waits for the next person to speak.

"Um," Macie stands. "I'm Macie. I'm from South America. I like to swim. Im 16. If anyone needs fashion advice, I'm your girl!" She smiles and sits back down, causing Bridgette to stand up.

"Hi all, I'm, I'm Bridgette. I'm straight- I mean, wow. Haha. Let me start over. I'm from California. I'm trying to win the money so my family can get out of poverty." Bridgette sits back down and buries her face in her hands. After seeing Macie, Bridgette forgot how to speak.

Before her eighteenth birthday, Bridgette was positive she was straight. But recently, she is starting to question her sexuality. And seeing Macie made her wonder even more if she really is entirely straight.

"Hi, I'm Paul. I'm 25 and I'm a teacher from Mexico. I am here to feed my children and give them a nice house." Paul sits back down.

"I'm Jamie." She stands for a second and sits back down.

"Is there anything you'd like to say about yourself?" Molly laughs at how little Jamie had to say about herself.

"I don't like girls who get in my business. How about that?" Jamie folds her arms over her chest.

Suddenly, the lights flick off and everyone screams. Moments later, the lights return and everyone looks around.

Everyone laughs and quickly realizes that the lights just flickered and nothing actually happened to any of them.

"Wait!" Saylor stands up. "Someone is missing." He looks around, using his love of math to count people. "There is only eleven of us here."

"What?" Everyone shakes their heads and looks around.

One by one, they begin to realize that one of them has gone missing. One of the contestants disappeared when the lights went off.

"Who is it?" Everyone asks out loud trying to remember who was here before. They weren't done introducing themselves before the lights went out.

"Well, there are six guys and only five girls do it has to be one of the girls. But I can't remember who it was!" Hayden pulls at his long blonde hair. Everyone is so confused.

But this is only the beginning of their ten week long nightmare.
