My Life Seriously Sucks

Endora seems to be having way too much fun.

Every few seconds while we're walking, she waves her wand and something either changes color or grows in size. FG silently fixes everything but seems to get more annoyed as Endora continues.  Until she finally turns around and glares at Endora with more anger than I've ever seen in the kindly woman's face.

Endora glares back, perfectly calm. "I'm helping only because I cursed my friends. No other reason."

FG huffs out but keeps walking.

"Where are we going, exactly?" I ask.

"The Isle of the Lost." FG says. I run through Arradon's layout in my head, and we are heading towards the limo parking lot.

"Why?" Carlos asks.

"Because Shrimp'll be the only one who might be able to tell us what could reverse it." Endora tells me, twirling her wand. "I can make people tell the truth, whether they want to or not. Don't worry. If she knows how, we'll get it."

"Are you sure that's smart?" Maira asks, crossing her arms over her chest. "The last time we tried something like this, Uma and everybody very nearly took over Auradon. Remember? And then everything with Ellie happened... and... yeah."

We all look at her.

"What? It's true!"

"Well, if Uma had never captured Ellie in the first place, I would never have escaped." Endora says.

"Yes, and we're all delighted you were here to give Ellie and Carlos' date location away, and turn everybody into beasts." Maira says, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Endora glares at her. "For the last time, I did not give away their location! I have no idea who did! I wouldn't give away my friend's secrets like that!" She shouts. Her face is a deep pink, and her fists are balled at her sides, sparks exploding from the end of her wand.

"Okay, geez. No need to get angry." Maira mutters.

"There is reason to get angry!" Endora yells. "I hate being judged! My mom has spent years on the Isle because someone deemed her evil when she was the farthest you could be!! And I am sick of getting those looks soley because I come from the stupid ISLE OF THE LOST!" she screams. Gold and green sparks jump around us, grabbing us in a few milliseconds and dissipating with us surrounded by Uma's crew on her ship.

"Oh, crap." Endora mutters.

Uma's face splits into a grin. "Well! I gotta say, nice job Eddie!"

Endora rolls her eyes. "Oh my gosh, Uma, I've told you I hate that name. If you're going to shorten my given name without my permission, at least call me Dori. It's what I prefer."

"Fine, Dori." Uma says, waving her hand. "But good job! And I see Arson and Carlos have gotten their fair share of beasty-ness. I'ma guess Ben is that way, too?"

"Yes, he is. You told me Carlos was somewhere else!" Endora says. I notice her wand is twitching. And as Uma's eyes survey over all of us, she skips over FG. Then she lands on me and her grin grows, if possible, bigger.

"Well! Icy's got herself on the Isle once again. I'm glad." She cracks her knuckles. "I've been waiting for way too long to get you back, Ice Queen."

I bend my knees ever so slightly, putting my hands out on either side of myself. Blue fire blazes in each palm. "I'd like to see you try."

She just laughs. "Nice eye. And nice scars." She traces one of my deeper ones on her own face. "Glad to see your pretty little face didn't leave unscathed."

I notice two pirates sneaking up behind me holding blue fabric, and I twist around, grabbing each of them and tossing them in the water with those stupid gloves. "Nice try, Shrimp. I am never wearing those things again if I have anything to say about it."

Uma nods a bit then turns back to Endora. "So I'm guessing Sera's still under?"

Arson roars and charges Uma, who just sidesteps him and lets him crash headfirst into the wood behind her. Four pirates grab him and hold him down. Uma steps forward again.

"One down... four to go." She says.

I wave my hand and her arms are jerked behind her back, tied with black smoke. "One down." I say in a whiny voice. "A billion stupid pirates to go."

She growls, pulling at the bonds. "Dori?"

Endora just shakes her head. "No way, Uma. You lied to me. You just wanted revenge on Ben and Elicia."

"Uh, please don't call me Elicia. Even Icy is better than that." I say.

"Fine. Icy." Endora says, giving me something close to a smirk. She twirls her wand. "Now, you're going to tell me the cure for my spell. I told you it before I left."

"Why can't you just do it?" Mahina asks.

"Because, once I cast a spell, I forget the cure. It's a side effect from growing up on the non-magicky Isle." Endora explains, twirling her wand again. Gold sparkles come out once again, and the entire pirate crew freezes. She turns to Arson and helps him up. Then she turns to us again. "We've got ten minutes before the spell wears off. Kay?"

"I can help with that." I tell her. I snap my fingers and all the pirates are coated in a thick layer of ice.

She nods in approval. "Now. Shrimp. Answer the question. Oh, and by the way---" She points her wand at FG and the air shimmers around her. Uma's jaw drops.

"You!" she snarls.

"Hello, Uma." FG says cheerfully.

"Now. Cure." Endora says. "And remember... Even on the Isle, my wand works wonders."

"Too bad yo had to steal it from the museum." Uma taunts.

FG doesn't even flinch. "I already knew of the theft." She assures us. "I just didn't realize it until I checked yesterday."

Uma growls again. "Ugh! Fine. I'll tell you the stupid cure. But..." she glances wickedly at me. "It won't work for anyone but a few people who are willing to try."

I try to keep my face neutral.

"It's---" Uma starts.

And then, of course, everything went chaotic.

I felt a slight movement in the air behind me and I twisted around but all I found was a sword point at my throat. The person dug the tip deeper, cutting into my skin.

"Ellie!" Carlos yelps, trying to lumber over but getting caught in a burly, sunglassed-man's arms. Ares nods at me, grinning.

I focus not on the sword tip, but on the person's face. Anger makes my vision cloud over.

"You. Have. Got. To. Be. Kidding. Me." I growl.

"Welcome back to the Isle." Hans Jr. says. He's holding a small box with a red button on it. He presses it once and a small light starts beeping on Maira's bag. "Now, unless you want me to blow this ship up, you'll corporate."

This chapter might not be my best... But I felt really bad that I haven't updated in a while. So, I did this!   :)

Okay, seriously, I am sorry. I just started high school up, and it's HECTIC. I've barely had time for Ellie! *cri* As you could probably tell, updates will now be much less frequent. I know I've said that before, but this time it's true. Sorry!

Hope you guys enjoyed! Bye!!!!!!
