Act 5: Scene 1

The next morning, inside of Boston's Finest Boots and Shoes.

(Figgins is reading the newspaper.)

Figgins - "I don't believe it. Sir Samuel Adams is gracing the front page of the Boston Gazette, but not for a noble reason. The headline reads, Sons of Liberty Leader Samuel Adams Is Doing Deals With The British...Da Fuck!" (spits on the ground in disgust) "Disgraceful!"

Eli (following the lead of Figgins, he too spits on the ground in disgust and also shouts) - "Disgraceful!"

Figgins - "I cannot wait to hear what this wretched weasel has to say for himself tonight."

Eli - "Even if he transforms into a weasel, he will still fail to weasel his way out of this situation. I was told that they even had receipts and ledgers for the deals. The evidence is too great for him to be found innocent."

Figgins (venting) - "That man wore the vest and swore allegiance to the flag! Traitor!!!" (slams his fist on his desk furiously.)

Eli - "I've always had a funny feeling about that chap. So funny that I quite often giggled when he was in my presence."

Figgins - "Let's close up shop lad, and head to the meeting."
