Act 3: Scene 5

Narrator - "The British soldiers are upset that their trousers are ruined and the tailors refuse to repair the trousers due to their fear of the Sons of Liberty. If any business serves British soldiers in any way, the Sons of Liberty will trash the business and then drag the shop owner out of the building, place them in a public square and proceed to tar and feather the owner. Therefore, all the tailors of the town refused to serve the soldiers. With no tailor willing to help, the British were forced to head back to Britain to repair their ripped trousers.

When the Sons of Liberty discovered this news of the British soldiers' departure, they erupted in celebration. They decided to throw a massive party at their secret warehouse, The Adams's Brewery, and invited all the women of Boston. They had food, music, a shit ton of USA decorations and Samuel Adams brought kegs of his beer."

At the Adams's Brewery.

Samuel Adams (shouting as he waves an American Flag in the air) - "We got American beer, American food and American bitches. AMERICA, FUCK YEAH!"

(Samuel Adams grabs his beer and raises it in the air. The crowd raises their beers as well and they share a celebratory drink.)

Patrick Henry (rushes to the stage and shouts in glee) - "Gentlemen, we did it!"

The crowd (erupts in cheers) - "Yeah! Fuck Yeah!"

Patrick Henry - "Knowing the British, I can promise you that they will be angry, and will most likely come back with a vengeance. Therefore we must stay alert, be wary and remain on guard....but tonight, we party like it's 1655!!! Bring out the shots!"

(The crowd erupts in cheers and shots are given to all.)

Narrator - "The party continued for weeks. The Sons of Liberty soon began a USA propaganda newspaper, as well as a television show. They used these public devices to gain further support for their cause by creating false stories and implemented the tactic of fear-mongering. They always portrayed themselves as the hero and the voice of the people, while they made the British the villains and the cruel oppressors.

The propaganda machine they created proved to be extremely effective as the Sons of Liberty gained unwavering loyalty and love from the Boston citizens as well as full support from other colonies. Their false stories triggered a mass proliferation of fear and hatred of the British. Which of course, increased hostility and tension between the two countries.

With the growing support, love and loyalty, the Sons of Liberty felt empowered to act more tyrannical. Any business or citizen that did not show love, loyalty, and support for their cause paid an egregious price. For they were tarred, feathered, beaten, had their nipples twisted and were even given wedgies in public squares. This sort of humiliation and shame prevented others from believing or thinking anything in opposition to the Sons.

Eli was in a dejected mood as he had to pretend to support the Sons of Liberty and their tyrannical and cult-like behavior. He prayed, hoped and wished upon a star that the British would be returning soon, but this time, with more men, more weapons, and more trousers."
