I just put Karmi, aka the baby i just stole, in her room that i made before i went to kidnap her. Walking back to my computer, i was met with a struggle. There was a cat. A random cat. THERE WAS A RANDOM CAT! IN A ABANDONED BUILDING, WITH NOTHING TO EAT, UNDER THE GROUND, IN A BASE. A RANDOM CAT! I didn't know what was going on. The cat looked like it was starving, so i gave it some fish i had. The cat ate it so fast, i didn't know cats could eat this fast! Before i knew what was happening, the cat was going to Karmi's room. I quickly followed the little animal, and saw why it wanted me to follow me. Karmi was crying, and i didn't even hear! Quickly, i grabbed the child and calmed her down. After a while, i decided to change the place a bit, so i could hear when Karmi cried, so i could be there asap. After moving things for what seemed forever, i had it done. It wasn't a big place, but it was good enough. My alarm was going off, and i knew it was time to feed her.

*after feeding baby Karmi :)*

My stomach rumbled, meaning i was hungry. I quickly inhaled an apple, because i had to steal more food. After changing into my stealing outfit, so i couldn't get recognized, i made sure Karmi was okay. After knowing everything was alright, and it was safe to let her alone a bit, i got to work. Quickly, but sneaky, i got out of the base, and snuck to a market. I grabbed some apples, bananas, some sweets, and baby food. That wasn't that good of an idea, since i got found. As fast as i could, i ran. They didn't seem to be fast enough, so i was relieved. I got back to my base, in time, alone. When i came back inside, i saw that the cat was gone, and began panicking. As fast as i could, i ran into Karmi's room. What i saw was yet shocking, yet wholesome. They were snuggling! I put out the light, and got to bed. Karmi didn't wake up from me bursting in, surprisingly. I looked on my phone, to be surprised by the time. It was 11pm, but it was still a bit sunny outside. ~summer~ i tought. And i went to bed.

*next morning*

I woke up from crying. ~the baby!~ i thought, panicking. As fast as i could, i got to her room. When i came in, i smelled why she was crying. ~oh cod.. I have to change her diaper~ i tought.

*after changing her diaper*

"Okay! You're all clean now!" i said, after changing her diaper. I got a giggle as return. ~she's such a cutie! Wait- what! No! I can't get close to her! I'm just using her for money!~ i tought, getting mad at myself. That remembered me to call the parents with an unknown number. And so i did.

*on the call (Moon is normal, other person is bold)*

"Hello."

"Hello? With _____"

"Let's get straight to the point. I have your child, and i want a million dollars for her."

"What!? You little thief! I'm gonna call the cops on you!!!"

"I should watch your mouth, i have your baby held hostage, you know?"

"*mumbling*"

"Alright. If i don't have the money by the end of the week, she's done."

"What!?"

"You have to put the money at ****** and leave, if there are cops she's done."

"Fine.."

*hangs up*

*criminal POV*

I hung up the phone. I needed this money, how hard it even was to take care of a child. I think i started to feel like a mother to her. That wasn't good, i was gonna let go of her anyways. Feeling guilty, i went to Karmi's room. She was laying there, so peaceful. It looked like she was having a nightmare, so i got to my bed, and grabbed one of my plushies. I was still 12, and that couldn't change the fact that people wanted me dead.. They say i'm a terrible person, but i still have a heart. I gave the plushie to the little child, and she calmed down a bit. It was already late yet again, so i went to bed.

*next morning*

I woke up from a call. ~how the frick did they reach me!?~ i thought shocked. I picked up.

*call, same as last one*

"Hello?"

"Hello. Is this that thief?"

"Oh! Why yes, that is indeed me."

"I got the money. It's there."

"Okay. I'll get someone to get it."

"What about my child!?"

"You'll see her soon."

*hangs up*

*end of call*

I yet again hung up. I needed to get ready to get that money. No, i wasn't gonna give them the child. I couldn't. It broke my heart thinking about her. What if they don't care anymore? What if they don't love her? All those thoughts were running through my mind. No, i wasn't gonna let her go. I was gonna get that money, and i was gonna take care of her myself. That's what i needed to do, be responsible. So, i got ready, wore all black, covering my blue starry hair, my tail and of course, my face. As sneaky as i could, i got outside.

*at the place*

I saw it. The money. I grabbed it, and started to make my way out of it. That's when i heard sirenes. I started running, as fast as i could. The sound got closer. I hid in a alleyway and stayed quiet. This couldn't end like this. I still have a child to take care of, to raise, to give a life. No. I wasn't gonna let this happen. I opened my wings and started flying. That's when i realised what i did wrong. I heard a gunshot, and felt a huge amount of pain, coming from my wing. ~i.. I can't let this go like this.. I have t-~ i thought, before everything went black.
