Jennifer P.O.V

I woke up with a little gasp. Does this mean Elijah is undaggered? My question is answered when Damon walks through the door.

"We are having a dinner with Klaus and Elijah"

"Yeah cause the last time you had a dinner with Elijah he was daggered...twice. Oh and-"

"Shut up. You are coming with us to the dinner"

He turns around leaving.

"Wait what? Who said I was going?"

"Me. Now get ready and let's go. You have two hours to get ready"

"I think I will just wear what I am now thanks."

*Time Skip*

I walk into the Salvatore building. I smile when I see Elijah...I mean Stefan. Klaus sits at the end of the table. Damon on the side. Stefan in the other side. Elijah at the other end of the table.

I was debating where to sit for a while. Next to Klaus who want to kill me and my sister. No. Damon who would push me toward Klaus so he can get me.No.

Stefan I don't know. If he regained his control over human blood. Yes. What am I talking about? I can trust Stefan. I sit in the seat next to Stefan.

I spaced out. Remembering everything that happened that day. The day I lost my parent's. The day people called me crazy. Cause of what I saw. I saw Stefan pull Elena out.

Flashback

"Are you sure you don't want me to take you back home?"

"Yeah I am fine. I will be OK. I promise"

"You can't promise something like that "

"I am gonna be OK Tyler"

I turn around giving Tyler a hug. Tyler pulls away from the hug. Pulling me into a kiss. I pull away.

"How about this if I make it I get to tell you I told you so"

"And if you-"

"Don't sound so sad. If I don't you can come to my grave and say I told you so. I will do the same for you. How about that? Deal? OK happy you agreed with it"

I started running putting ear buds in.

"Sorry TY CAN'T HEAR YOU"

I walk on the side walk when I hear screeching of tires. I start running toward the sound. When I see A car go over the bridge. My parents car. Elena,mom and dad are there. I start running toward the car to see someone standing over Elena before diving back into the water. Elena laying on the ground. How?

"Jennifer? Jennifer? Are you OK?"

"Uh..ummm..yeah just got lost in thought"

"Well what ever you were thinking about changed your heart beat can you explain that"

Damon was wearing is famous smirk. I smirked as a thought if an excuse. I know how to keep my heart beat steady when I am lying.

"I was thinking of crazy our lives are. You know vampires,werewolves,dooplegangers ,witches,bitches-"

"Yep she is fine"

I don't know why but I bursted out laughing. They looked at me like I was crazy. No one talked for a while. Well what seemed for a while.

"Why is it so quite?"

"It has been quite for like five seconds maybe less"

"Oh...you ever think that out lives would make a great book or show?"

"What the hell do you think of Jennifer?"

"Everything"

I am not sure if it actually come out as a whisper or I just heard it as a whisper when I started to remember. I shook my head before the memory could come to mind.

"I am just gonna go real quick"

"Don't be too long love we have much to talk about"

I walked out the door. After a few seconds I felt a presents behind me.

"What do you want?"

"To make sure you are ok"

"Why?"

"I heard how upset you were"

"When?"

"You were remembering something"

"What do you want?"

"I want you to admit it"

"Admit what?"

"That you were upset"

"OK so you want me to admit I was upset? FINE I AS UPSET I WAS SAD CAUSE EVERY TIME I CLOSE MY EYES.NORMAL PEOPLE SEE DARKNESS NOTHING. BUT DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT I SEE? EVERY SINGLE PERSON I EVER LOST. EVERYONE I CARE ABOUT FACE THEM ALIVE AND SMILING THEN I SEE THEM DEAD-"

"Why don't you want to admit I am your mate?"

"CAUSE IF I ADMIT I CARE ABOUT PEOPLE THEY ARE JUST GONNA DIE SO WHAT IS THE POINT? What is the point of caring? What is the point of living of all you see the people you care about die? You say I am your mate. But people have lied to me all my life. People have died around me. I mean even now people around me die. How would you want me to react? The second I was born I was adopted. The second my parents died I had to become to parent to my siblings."

"Why do you stay strong?"

"What? I am not strong"

"Jennifer you are the strongest person I have ever met"

Elijah brings his hand up to my cheek. I didn't know what to say. Because I am not strong.

"We should be going"

I walk past him. He slowly lowers his hand. I look ahead a see Klaus speed to Stefan sticking his hand in the fire. Damon runs over but Elijah blocks him. I try to run over but Elijah grabs me with the hand not holding Damon.

"Now get me my coffins"

"Fine I will get them"

"Elijah go with them"

"Them?"

"Yes them you and Damon"

We walk around the corner but Elijah quickly grabs me.

"What?"

He pulls up my sleeve.

"What worried?"

"Jennifer-"

Damon grabs the daggers.

"Let's go"

We walk back into the room.

"Back so soon"

"We seemed to forgot dessert"

Klaus looks confused. Elijah pulls the clothes off the plate.

"What have you done?"

"No brother what have you done"
