"So what is this ring?" Asked Damon taking my right hand and looking at my ring finger.

"Is the same ring that keeps me from burning in the sun.. thanks for that by the way. You turned me and a week later you just tell me you can't do this and leave.. I had to find a way to get a ring on my own." I said glaring funny at him as he laughed and hugged my naked body closer to him.

"Yeah sorry about that.. but you got it fast with that little friend of yours." He said kissing my nose.

"Yeah." I said and then smirked.

"You asked me about the ring right?" I asked and he nodded.

"This ring contains all of Brian's mom power.. and I'll let you in on another little secret my love." I said moving to be resting on top of him and kissed him.

"Brian is not dead." I said in his ear and his eyes widen.

"But I snapped his neck!" Said Damon and I smirked wider but nodded.

"Correct! You sure did.. and I actually thought so too since that kiss I only said yes because if I did he would make me a ring for me to walk in the sun I was blaming myself for his death." I said

"What does this have to do with him not being dead?" He said raising a brow.

"Impatient as always huh love?" I said getting up and starting putting my underwear on.

"Don't get dressed." He said and I smirked.

"Sorry love but we need to go I promised Elena that I would explain why I disappeard last night.. and I'm hungry." I said but stopped..

"I guess not exactly hungry for blood but actual human food.. soup, Ramen soup!" I said with a huge smile and Damon groaned rolling his eyes.

"I'll get you Ramen soup and make it for you.. if you tell me how your little witch friend is still alive." Damon said sitting up and I nodded walking  to him in my underwear only sitting next to him cuddling.

"He's a witch Damon.. his mother did a spell on him when he was a baby and if something supernatural ever killed him, or more like if he died of anything that wouldn't be a normal death then he would come back to life." I said and Damon nodded.

"How did you found out?" He asked.

"Well when I was crying on him not knowing what to do he suddenly woke up with a gasp making me jump away from him.. he was as confused as I was and then we went to his father and his father told us about what his mother had done.. then Brian took me to his room and opening a little box.. the box had this ring." I said putting my hand with the ring up.

"He did the spell for the sun not to burn me and then gave me the ring.. he told me it used to belong to his mother and that all her powers rested in it.. he told me that his mother told him to give it to someone strong and good.. someone that he thought was special.. and so for some reason he gave it to me." I said and Damon nodded.

"Well at least he could see you were special." He said kissing me and I smile in the kiss.

"What?" He asked.

"Well it's not every day you give complements." I said kissing his cheek before finishing with getting dressed.

"Now you owe me my Ramen soup!" I said and he nodded.

"Come to my house later after your talk with Elena and I'll cook it for you." He said and I nodded kissing him long and roaming my hands around his chest.

"Vamp sex is really good." I said and he bit my lip.

"You got that right.. and not having to deal with you getting pregnant is even better." He said and I just laughed.

"Damon.." I asked after some time quiet.

"Hmm?" He asked looking at the ceiling.

"Why are you with Caroline?" I asked and he thought for a second.

"I'm using her to get something I want.. I'm feeding on her." He said and I nodded.

"So she's your little puppet in this?" I asked and he nodded.

"You know I've never controlled you.. why? I have no idea. But I don't like making you do things you don't want to." He said and I nodded.

"I don't know how you do it.." He said and I looked at him.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"I told you everything.. about me, you know me like no one.. I told you about Stefan.. you just accepted everything you never doubted anything I said.. even when I attacked you.. you just hugged me before passing out.. I've done so many things to you and yet you just accept it.. why?" He said sitting on the bed as I put my knees on ether side of him and my hand around his neck making him look at me.

"Because I love you.. because I know who you are and how you are.. because I accepted who you were and I knew things like this would come along the way.. but I accepted you and everything that came after." I told him.

"I'm scared.." He admitted and I looked at him weird.

"The last time I loved a woman my brother won her.. she chose him.. she used me.. I just.." I smiled kissing him.

"It'll be fine." I said.

"Now let's go I need to go home." I said and we left the room spotless in less than 5 minutes before we left out the balcony and he kissed me goodbye a minute before I walked the rest of the way to my house that was right in front of me. When I made it to the door he wasn't there and I sighed before opening the door and walking in.

"Where the hell where you last night?" Asked aunt Jenna and I looked at her and smiled in a better mood because of Damon.

"In a hotel.. I needed to think.. coming back isn't what I thought would be." I said and she sighed but nodded.
