Chapter 2
(We're sticking with Tommy's P.O.V. because I need to rewrite this one day like goddamn)
All day I couldn't get the voice I heard out of my head. What did it mean by 'This city is built on lies'? "God," I groaned to myself. "Hey Tom. What's wrong?" Tubbo asked. "Nothing......okay something. You remember our walk earlier? Well while we were walking I heard a weird voice telling me that this city is built on 'lies' with no further context," I told Tubbo. "Odd. Maybe Wilbur lied about something when L'manberg was started and it helped serve as the basis of L'manberg," Tubbo said. I leaned back and thought about that. Was Tubbo right? Wilbur was never exactly much of an honest soul nor too much of a good one after the election. So Wilbur having a lie as the basis of L'manberg made sense. "Maybe Phil knows," I said. "That's actually very probable," Tubbo said.
I had left the city to go see Phil. He usually spent his time outside of L'manberg at this time of day. "Phil! Phil!" I called out for the old man "Philza Minecraft!". "What is it Tommy?" Phil asked. "Oh well earlier I heard a weird voice," I started. Phil quickly glided down to me and grabbed me by my shoulders. "What did it tell you?" He asked. I leaned my head back to give me and Phil some space. "Well if you would give me some room to breath i'd tell you," I said. Phil let me go and backed up a bit. "Tommy, what did the voice tell you?" He asked again. "Well it told me that L'manberg was built on a lie and that in order to find the truth I needed to find the voice. But gave me no clues as to how to do that or who they are," I said. Phil looked like he was lost in thought. His wings twitched slightly. "I think I got your clue. I heard a voice too earlier. It told me to go to Las Nevadas aka the Land of Nature," Phil told me. I looked in the direction of Las Nevadas and felt worried. Las Nevadas is a dangerous nation. Going there isn't something someone who wasn't to keep their innocence wants to do. "Why Las Nevadas?" I asked. Phil sighed. "I don't know. I hear that the goddess of nature is the the wisest and oldest of the 6 deities. Maybe she'll help," He said. I looked down and felt nervous. Phil could be right. Despite having the power of Air he was wise like someone with the power of Nature. "Alright. So to Las Nevadas then?" I said. Phil nodded. "Okay. I'll tell Tubbo," I said. "Did Tubbo hear the voice too?" Phil asked. I shook my head. "Well he hasn't told me he hasn't," I said.
