Leaning slightly against the side of the plane, Jungkook cast his eyes to the sky. As the morning light became more brilliant, clouds shone like nascent snow, stretching to the horizon. He could see the wing of the plane slightly jittering in the light turbulence, the flaps moving in the slightest. He smiled, even though he was locked in a vehicle high above the ground with a bunch of people, he didn't feel as nervous as he thought he would.

"Service~" A flight attendant called. Jungkook turned his gaze to the isle of the plane, looking past Taehyung who was seated beside him to the lady. She pulled two tinfoil trays from her cart, sliding them carelessly onto both his and Taehyung's tray tables along with a small cup of water and a few snacks. And then she left, delivering food to the people seated behind them.

Frowning, Jungkook's gaze drifted to the meal. The meal stared at him, and he stared back at it. He glanced over the description of the airplane meal in the menu, the saliva inducing words that bore no resemblance to the sad specimen of chicken and pasta before him. Jungkook snickered, "What a cruel joke."

"Tell me about it." Taehyung groaned next to him, ripping the packet of the plastic knife and fork open with his teeth, "Eight more hours of this stupid flight and they already expect us to starve."

Jungkook was still interested as to why Taehyung had re-joined them... but decided not to pry. "I know right," he added, staring down blankly at his meal, "I'm already bored as all hell... do they really expect people to be able to watch five movies in a row to stay entertained?"

"I could never stay focused for that long." Taehyung said, already digging into the pasta, leaving the rubbery chicken in the tray. "But here's my advice... um, Jung..."

"-Jungkook."

"Right, Jungkook." he spoke, taking another fork full of pasta into his mouth. He pointed his fork at Jungkook, "Airplane food is like starvation rations," He picked up the small complimentary muffin, "You see this? This my friend will be my saviour in a few hours." he said, taking the muffin off the plastic tray and putting it aside for later. "Plane rides are crazy long, and crazy boring so you're gonna start to crave food again sooner or later."

"You've got a point." Jungkook chuckled, cocking his head to the row behind him, "Unless you're Yoongi and you can live off your computer."

Raising a brow, Taehyung peered over to the two seats behind them.

Seated by the window, Hoseok rested his head against the plane, eyes cast to the clouds. Yoongi on the other hand had his bulky headphones set over his ears, the screen of his computer reflecting in his eyes as he worked on his music.

Turning back to face forwards, Taehyung ran a hand through his blue hair, "He's a rare one."

"Finally!" Hoseok sung, stepping out from customs alongside the rest of the group as they took their first steps on Australian soil. The airport was just as busy as Seoul's was, even more so. Some dashed frantically from their arrival flights over to a connecting flight, others giddy with excitement for their holidays and most just returning home to their county.

Even though the world was suffering global cooling, the group could tell that the country was still slightly warmer then their own... or it could've just been the seasonal differences.

"Right." Seokjin piped up, "We need to head over to our connecting flight, it leaves in half an hour so boarding is already starting."

Aurora let out a sigh, "We've come all the way to Sydney, yet we're staying for a mere thirty minutes."

"What a drag." Taehyung added, jutting his hip out to one side as he placed a hand against it. He was still dressed in his long black coat, an odd sight for anyone to take in.

With his phone already in his hand, Yoongi scanned the screen before gesturing to his left, "We're over there, lets go." he spoke flatly, leading the group over to their boarding station.

Their shoes echoed as they walked over the polished white tiles of the terminal. The walls were high, windows stretching to the roof as it let in a massive amount of light. Casting his gaze out the windows, Yoongi watched as the sun began to brush against the horizon, ready to begin its decent and make way for the night. Beside him, Hoseok's hair was once again aglow with the golden rays of the sun, a heavenly sight to see.

Rubbing a hand against the elemental marking on his wrist, Jimin made sure to keep his distance from Aurora, always walking two steps in front or two steps behind. He was being overly cautious for today only, not wanting to trigger a fight to break out in such a densely populated area.

"Here it is." Yoongi muttered, stopping the group at their designated boarding gate. Slipping a hand into his backpack, Yoongi was quick to take out his pass, handing it to the lady at the doors as she checked the flight information.

The lady smiled, handing back his ticket, "Have a nice flight."

The flight to Alice Springs wasn't nearly as long as their flight to Sydney. It was a mere three hours to the centre of the country and most of the group dozed off on the plane after the clouds had turned pink and the sun had set in the distance.

After waking up in their new location, the group was quick to make there way past security.

The airport was the smallest airport they'd ever seen. It could've been the size of a school hall, only big enough to fit security systems and two luggage conveyer belts. Jungkook however found it a lot less stressful, quickly following the group as they made their way to the front desk.

Clearing his throat, Seokjin gained the attention of the staff member, "Excuse me, but is it too late to higher a van?" he asked, gnawing at the inside of his cheek as he awaited the woman's approval.

The lady gave a small smile, searching through documents behind her desk before sliding a single piece of paper over the counter, "It's not to late." she chimed, her voice laced with a thick Australian accent, "Just sign down there and show your licence."

"Thank you miss." Seokjin grinned, popping the lid off of the ball point pen before putting the ink to paper.

From beside him, Yoongi slightly leaned against the counter, "Do we really need a van?"

"Yep." Seokjin spoke, popping the 'p' as he finished signing, "The motel is a short drive, and if we wanna find Namjoon, taking a car is a lot easier."

Yoongi gave a careless shrug, "Well, I ain't complaining then."

Slapping the pen down against the counter, Seokjin finished signing the forms. The lady happily passed over the keys to one of the vans for hire before gesturing out the doors, "Enjoy your stay."

Seokjin gave a polite wave before slinging his backpack higher against his shoulder, twirling the van keys around his finger as he cocked his head in the direction of the exit. The group followed behind, practically dragging themselves across the floor. Their shoulders were slumped, eyes half closed as they tiredly reached the sliding glass doors.

A cool gust of wind caressed their skin as they stepped outdoors, moving their clothing and tousling their hair. And as if all of their tiredness had been suddenly blown away, their eyes grew wide as they cast their gaze to the sky above.

Their jaws dropped, breath falling shallow at the magnificent sight before them. Even in the light of the airport, the stars still shined the brightest they had ever seen.

Aurora would call them beautiful, but even that wouldn't do it justice. This was something she couldn't describe or tell anyone about to share the experience, not even something a person could capture in a photo. Someone could only know by experience, only seeing through her eyes would you be able to see its beauty.

Purples and blues blended together, spreading across the sky like a magical river. The sky almost looked like a bucket of glitter had been thrown over the darkness, a masterpiece. They sparkled and shined, their light reflecting in the groups eyes as they marvelled the Galaxy in all of its beauty. The stars swirled and touched one another, but in reality were so distant, so far apart that they couldn't feel the warmth of each other even though they were burning.

Seokjin dropped his arm to his side, his lips coming together in a smile,

"Your Galaxy is still one of the best."

{Author Note}

Seriously, the stars were no joke when I went there.

Anyways, comeback comes out in a few hours so I'm going to drop my prediction here:

- 'ON' will be a darker themed music video and will connect to the BU

I'm gonna laugh if I'm wrong lol.
