*Y/N's POV*

I was launched into the air, and was going towards the forest. I still haven't thought about the element I was going to use here... I could use ice. Yeah, that will work. I was about to crash into a tree. No one should see me right now, right?  I sighed, don't even risk having anyone see the other elements. I saw a branch  coming close to my head. I created an ice hook, which I ducked my head under the branch and connected the hook to the branch. I swung upwards and landed on top of the branch. I put one hand on the tree and looked around. I saw Ruby looking around, but never made contact. 

Y/N: "This is one sturdy branch..."

As I said that, it snapped under me and I fell to the ground. I groaned and stood up. Just had to open my mouth... I heard some kind of growling sound and I turned around to see this weird looking dog creature.

Y/N: "Don't you just look friendly..."

It jumped at me and I dodged away.

Y/N: "Why is everything trying to kill me...?"

I created an ice sword as it jumped at me, I leaned to the side and it missed. I slashed it in half and walked away, ice sword disappearing. The hell are these things? Maybe if I actually listened for once, I would know. I still don't even know what I'm supposed to be doing. I heard more growls and I stopped. I looked around myself and saw a lot of them surrounding me. Great... They all jumped at me and I smirked. I summoned ice spikes all around myself and killed all of them. Not even a challenge.

Ruby: "THATWASSOCOOL!"

I turned around and saw Ruby and Weiss. How long have they been watching?

Weiss: "It was impressive. You made it look easy."

They walked towards me.

Y/N "It was easy, to be honest."

Weiss: "Is that your semblance?"

Y/N: "My wh-- I mean, yeah."

Ruby: "But I tho--"

Y/N: "It's my semblance!"

Weiss: "Ice manipulation?"

Y/N: "Yup."

I hope I can keep this up... Ruby, don't ruin this! I forgot she knows about my Quirks...

Ruby: "Have you found your chess piece yet?"

Y/N: "What?"

Weiss: "Did you not listen to a word Professor Ozpin said?!"

Y/N: "Uhh... No."

Weiss: "You dolt! You... Fine, I'll tell you then. We are to find an abandoned temple at the end of the path, containing several relics. And the first person you made contact with will be your partner for the rest of your time at Beacon."

Y/N: "Oh, simple enough."

I began walking away from the with my hands in my pockets.

Y/N: "I'll go do that then."

Ruby/Weiss: "Watch out!"

I jumped up and looked below myself and saw another creature. I created an ice scythe and stabbed it in the head and landed back on the ground. I lifted it up with the ice scythe and slammed it against the ground. The ice scythe then disappeared.

Ruby: "WOW! SO COOL!"

Would be cooler if I could use my other elements. Oh well. I left them and began searching for this temple.

*Timeskip*

I dusted my hands after killing more dog things. Why is it always dogs that I kill? I walked through a clearing in the trees and saw a bunch of people.

Looks like the gang is all here. I walked towards them and saw a giant scorpion thing. 

Y/N: "The fuck did I just walk into...?"

Ruby: "Language!"

Yang: "Great, the gang's all here so now we can all die together!"

Ruby: "Not if I can help it!"

Ruby was about to run in, until I stopped her. 

Y/N: "I'll take care of it."

I walked towards it and the scorpion came charging at me. I smirked at as it's stinger came down at me.

Blake: "Will he be okay?"

Ruby: "Yeah, he will be. Just you wait!"

I back stepped away and the stinger hit the ground. I placed my right hand on the stinger, and ice encased it. I pulled my arm back and before I punched it, I rewrote my strength. I punched it and broke the ice and the stinger completely, causing the scorpion to screech in pain. It slammed it's claw at me, which I flipped over and landed on top of it. I was looking it in the eyes.

Y/N: "You missed, again."

I back flipped back and landed in front of it. I stomped my left foot and ice was spreading everywhere and stabbed into the scorpion, killing it.

Everyone: "What the..."

I smiled at them, until I heard this loud screeching sound from the sky. I looked up and saw a giant bird. The hell is with these animals?!

It shot a bunch of black feathers down at me, they look sharp... I created a giant ice dome around everyone and waited the attack to over. Once the attack was over, I got rid of the domes.

Y/N: "That wasn't nice, you kn--"

As I was saying that, it grabbed me with it's talons and began flying up I began punching it's talon.

Y/N: "Let go fucker!"

I created an ice sword and slung upwards, and I began falling... Did I cut it's talon off? Good... But now I'm falling! I did a flip in the air and began free falling. You know... I don't think this is looking good for me now. I saw a javelin coming at me, spun and caught it and went flying with it.

Y/N: "Thanks!"

It planted into a tree and I was holding onto it still. I planted my legs against the tree and pulled it out. I ran back over to the group and held the javelin out.

Y/N: "Who threw that anyways?"

I saw this girl with red hair walk in front of me.

???: "That would be me."

Y/N: "Well thanks for that, you saved me. Uh..."

Pyrrha: "Pyrrha, Pyrrha Nikos. Nice to see that someone doesn't know me from that cereal ad."

Y/N: "The wh-- Nevermind. Names Y/N L/N. Nice to meet you."

I handed her weapon back and I turned away from them.

Y/N: "Guess I should find that bird then."

Ruby: "Actually..."

I turned back to them.

Y/N: "What?"

The girl with orange hair spoke.

???: "We can deal with it!"

Weiss: "Besides, you still need to find you chess piece. Right?"

Y/N: "Yeah..."

*Third Person POV*

Y/N: "Well, mind if I give you guys a plan for it?"

*Timeskip*

Ruby and the others were on a bridge type of area, staring up at the Nevermore. 

Nora: "This is going to be good!"

Jaune: "You guys think his plan will work?"

Blake: "Maybe."

Yang: "I believe in his plan."

Ruby: "I agree with Yang!"

The Nevermore came down at them. Yang jumped up and was about to be eaten, she began using her gauntlets to blast some shots into it's mouth. While she did that, Ren jumped high enough and cut off it's other Talon.

Yang: "I hope you're hungry!"

Yang jumped away and landed next to Ruby. Jaune brought his shield above himself, which Nora jumped on top of and blasted herself into the air with her hammer. Pyrrha jumped off of the bridge and brought her shield up, which Nora landed on and blasted herself off of and was close to the Nevermore. Blake hooked on to the side of the bridge and slung under it, catching Pyrrha as she was falling. Swinging back onto the bridge to safety. Nora bashed her hammer down onto the Nevermore's head. Causing it to fall down next to a mountain. Blake and Yang created a swing shot and Ruby jumped up and held Crescent Rose against it, ready to fire off of it. Weiss was ready to use her Glyph to boost Ruby.

Weiss: "He thought about this plan fast. I don't understand how..."

Ruby: "Quick thinker I guess. You can make this shot, right?"

Weiss: "Hmph. Can I?"

Ruby: "Can you?"

Weiss: "Of course I can!"

Weiss gave Ruby the boost and Ruby kept shooting Crescent Rose, boosting herself at the Nevermore. She clipped Crescent Rose around the Nevermore's neck and kept boosting herself up the mountain, which Weiss helped with. Once she made it to the top, the Nevermore got held in place and with Ruby's speed, she took the Nevermore's head off. Killing it. Everyone was surprised the plan went that well.

.....

Back over with Y/N, he found a weird looking trap door. He went to go in and back stepped when the floor opened up

Y/N: "That would have killed me..."

He jumped over the trap and saw a chess piece. He picked it up and examined it.

Y/N: "A king...? Oh well, just gotta head back."
