*Y/N's POV*

I walked through the halls of Beacon, finding myself outside of the library. Guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to check it out. I walked into the library, it was nice in here, quiet like it should be. I walked towards some of the shelves, looking at some of the books.

Y/N: "Hmm..."

Then... One caught my eye... My eyes widened and I grabbed that book fast.

Y/N: "The Records of the Five Cardinal Weapons...? Why is it here...?"

But... It wasn't the one I held before, about the four cardinal weapons? This is different... I opened it and started looking through pages, it's strange... I saw Motoyasu in here, but there were so many empty pages... But it explained most things he did while I was in that world... It's the same for Ren, Itsuki, and Naofumi...

Blake: "Hello, Y/N."

I looked up from the book and saw Blake, holding a book in her hand.

Y/N: "Ah, hey there Blake."

I flipped some more pages and I finally got to my pages... What I didn't know was...

Blake: "Is that you?"

I froze up. I didn't know she was looking at the book! What the fuck do I say?!

Y/N: "Uh, must be a coincidence..."

I flipped towards the end of the book and there was no blank page... The last page for me, was explaining what happened.

"The young maiden, Inori, went in after the unknown attacker and stabbed him in the stomach with her daggers, in an attempt to protect our weakened hero. The unknown attack then created an ice sword and cut Inori's throat open, her falling to ground, with assumptions of her being dead at that very moment. Despair consuming our Elemental Hero. Before the Shield Hero could attack the unknown attacker, he created a dark portal below himself, and then created one below the Elemental Hero, and they both disappeared. Some still believe that the Elemental Hero died that day."

This can't be... I can't let others find this book. They'll find out about my past in that world. They'll find out that I'm not from this world... 

Blake: "A dark portal? Are you that Elemental Hero?"

I looked at Blake and closed the book.

Y/N: "W-What? No, I couldn't be."

Blake: "Why's that?"

I saw the bow on her head twitch. Twitch...? Is she...

Y/N: "I can only control ice. I can't control elements."

Blake: "I just think it's a little strange..."

Y/N: "What?"

Blake: "With what that book says, it kinda makes sense. Two people, that could control use elements go through a portal, which could have brought them to some different world. Then, recently we have this person running around with the name "Elementalist". My team and I ran into him and some other guy and that guy mentioned the name of that girl, Inori."

Fuck... He did mention her name... 

Y/N: "..."

Blake: "The Elemental Hero's name was Y/N L/N. That's also your name. That would mean that you're that same hero, and that you're also the Elementalist."

Y/N: "I-I think you might be looking way too into this."

Blake: "I don't think I am. Where is your aura?"

Y/N: "I..."

She's really got me here...

Y/N: "Blake..."

Blake: "What?"

Y/N: "Would you mind if we discussed this somewhere else?"

*Timeskip*

Blake and I were walking around Vale, we weren't talking much. She would ask me questions, but I would just answer them with one word every time.

Blake: "Where are we even going?"

Y/N: "Don't know."

We began walking by a small shop, in which I slowed down and stopped in front of it.

Y/N: "Hold on, stay right here. I'll be back in one second."

Blake: "Uh, okay?"

I walked into the shop and looked around. That bow twitch... I might have an idea. I kept looking until I found something. A laser pointer, perfect. Well, it'll be perfect if this works. I purchased it and walked out of the store, gotta thank Ozpin for the whole money situation. Blake saw me and began walking next to me.

Blake: "Find what you want?"

Y/N: "I guess you can say that."

We made a turn into an alley, no one was here. I took out the laser pointer and pointed it in front of us. I saw Blake go after it and she crouched in front of it. I walked up behind her and took her bow off of her head. She then froze up. Cat ears, knew it.

Y/N: "Hello, kitty."

Blake: "W-Why... How...?"

Y/N: "Back in the library, I saw your bow twitch."

She stood up and tried to run off. I quickly grabbed her arm.

Y/N: "Hold up, I won't tell anyone."

She slowly turned her head towards me. Her ears were down.

Blake: "Really...?"

Y/N: "As long as you don't tell anyone what you found out about me. I don't know your reasoning for hiding your ears. But, if you want it kept a secret, then you'll also have to keep the things about me a secret. Sounds fair, do you agree?"

Blake: "I... I agree."

Y/N: "Good. Now, how about we go get something to eat?"

*Timeskip*

We were in a restaurant, and we were waiting for our food. It was a bit silent, until Blake spoke up. 

Blake: "Can I ask why?"

Y/N: "Why what? Gonna need some context."

Blake: "Why didn't you save her?"

Y/N: "I..."

I sighed. The fuck kind of question is this...? It's a question I don't even want to think or talk about. I regret not being able to save her...

Y/N: "Sometimes, a hero can't save everybody. Sometimes, a hero can't save anyone. That's the fall of a hero. In this instance, I had over exerted myself too much, to the point of where I couldn't use the elements. I couldn't do anything against him... She... She died right in front of me... The whole kingdom could've died because I couldn't do anything against him..."

Our food arrived a moment after I told her all of that. We began eating and she then spoke.

Blake: "I'm sorry for asking that, seems like a touchy subject."

Of course it is, I lost someone close to me...

Y/N: "It's fine."

I finished eating and took my wallet out.

Blake: "I don't think tha--"

I put the money on the table.

Y/N: "Sorry, I'm done talking for now. I'm heading back, you can finish eating and head back. If you need me, I'll be at the dorm."

I then walked away and made my way back to Beacon. I need to clear my head...
