Just want to clarify, because otherwise this would be weird. Red Arrow is going to be aged down to let's say 15 or 16 in this story. You'll understand why later.

I ran out onto the beach in my (One Piece/Two Piece) swimsuit.

"Before we start, a moment of silence, for those who could not attend." Robin bowed his head.

"Poor Wally." I sighed, secretly I was holding back a laugh.

After the 'moment of silence' everyone but me jumped in. I stayed back on the beach, waiting for the perfect time to strike.

"Come on (Y/n)! The waters perfect!" Robin announced. I smiled, there's the signal, and ran yelling.

"Waterbending bomb!" I moved the water up in a giant wave splashing everyone, thank you powers.

"You're gonna get it." Robin swam towards me and grabbed my waist making me squeal. "Ready?"

"Ready for wha- Robin!" He lifted me onto his shoulders and fell back dunking me under the cool water. He pulled me back up, my wet hair flinging water everywhere.

"Oh!" He groaned when he once again got water in his face.

"That's your fault buddy."

I took a bite of the hotdog and smiled. I loved beach days, it made me feel normal. Despite being surrounded by other heroes that is.

"Would anyone like to play volleyball?"

I spiked the ball over the net gaining us a point. I high fived Megan and cheered. We were beating the guys by a lot, not to brag, but there were more of them than of us.

Eventually we were called back inside to change and meet someone. Once I changed into my uniform I walked into the main area.

"The Wall-man is her-" Wally ran in and tripped dropping all of his beach stuff in the process.

"Wall-man huh? I love the uniform, what are your powers?" The new girl asked.

"Who's this?" Wally asked. I shifted my foot slightly so I could feel everyone's heartbeats.

"I'm Artemis, your new teammate."

"She's my new protege." Green Arrow added.

"What happened to your last one?" Wally questioned.

"Recognized-- Speedy BO6." The computer announced. I perked up and smiled.

"For started he doesn't go by Speedy anymore. It's Red Arrow... (Y/n), glad to see you're okay, I was worried when I heard you were hurt."

"Roy you look-"

"Replaceable." Red Arrow interrupted, "Can she even shoot that bow?"

"Yes, she can." Artemis sneered.

"Who are you?" Wally yelled.

"I'm his niece."

"She's my niece." They spoke at the same time. My eyes widened. They were lying, I didn't speak up though. There had to have been a reason as to why they were lying.

"Red Arrow, you came to us for a reason." Aqualad stepped forward.

"Yeah a reason named Dr.Serling Roquette. Two week ago she was abducted by the League of Shadows. They coerced her into crafting a weapon. It's comprised of millions of nanotech infiltrators."

I sat in the high school listening to everyone bickering.

"Shut up!" I finally screeched. "Artemis is on the team like it or not! None f you have the authority to go against the league's word on this, so just accept it!"

Robin and Superboy left to go after the nanobots while I stayed behind with Aqualad. I shifted my foot slightly and gasped.

"Get down!" I yelled. An assassin ran in and started to fight Aqualad.

"(H/n) we need you at the pool!" M'gann yelled. I ran out to the pool and sucked in a sharp breath. KF was unconscious surrounded by water.

"Can you help him?" M'gann asked out loud.

I put my hand above KF and clenched my fist abruptly pulling it up. The water came out of his mouth, but he still wasn't moving.

"Come on KF." I mumbled.

I opened his mouth and twirled my hands in circles before moving my right hand down. He took a deep breath now that air entered his lungs again. I pulled him up and we started to run towards the computer lab in time to see the assassin disappearing.

I stood hidden in the tree line by the docks. I rolled my eyes as KF and Artemis glared at each other.

"Stop it, I can hear you glaring." Aqualad hissed causing me to chuckle.

Something crashed into the building and I ran into it swiftly. I wasn't expecting for something to ram me into a wall knocking the wind out of me. I slowly got up and waited for the black dots in my vision to disappear. I threw a piece of rock at the other two villains while Artemis ran after the leader. I managed to knock out one of them, KF and M'gann got the other. I climbed onto KF's shoulders and we ran to meet Artemis.

"Congrats" I squealed. I felt a vibration in one of the inner pockets of my uniform. I pulled out my phone.

"(Y/n) here."

"Hey, it's Roy, can you meet me?" He asked.

"Yeah where?" He gave me the location and I nodded, "See you soon."

"I have to go meet someone." I announced.

"Aw, but Robin is returning from battle. He'll want to see his beloved." KF teased.

I glared and bent a rock at him, "Tell Robin I had an errand to run."

I left everyone and met Red Arrow in the alleyway. Strange place to meet, but it made sense, considering both of us were still in uniform.

"Why are we here?"

"I saw your face when Artemis said she was Green Arrow's niece. You know it was a lie."

"Well yeah, but-" Before I could finish he pushed me up against the wall and put his hand over my mouth.

"Whoevers there come into the light." Artemis demanded.

"Nice move," Red Arrow let me go and walked into the light, me following him, "almost makes me believe you are Green Arrow's niece."

"I'm sure G.A and Bats have a reason for lying do your cover's safe, But I warn you, do not hurt my friends." Red Arrow visibly grabbed my hand and gave it a squeeze before leaving.

"(H/n)-"

"You don't have to explain. I knew you lied from the beginning. But let me give you this one warning. I can already tell that you've struggled making the choice between good and bad before. So let me tell you right now, you make one mistake, one step backward, and you won't have to worry about choices anymore, because I'll make sure you won't have to make them anymore. Permanently. Have a nice night!"

You don't want to see me when I'm angry.
