"I'm fine! The burn has healed partially, the most I could have now is a scar."

It was at least the fifth time I had said that within the past ten minutes. The team had been sending me worried glances ever since we had gotten onto the ship. They most likely though I either wouldn't be able to handle a mission so soon after I had gotten hurt, or I would be complaining the entire time, neither of which I planned on doing.

Aqualad jumped out and set up the sensor. I jumped out after him landing lightly on my feet. The rest of the team followed after us. Robin motioned for me to follow him and we vanished. I heard a grunt and looked up to see KF dodging gunfire. I rolled my eyes and jumped out of the trees bending rocks towards the shooters. Aqualad jumped in and took out the last guy who attempted to run away. I was ready for a lecture on disappearing but we didn't get one, thank goodness.

"They belong to the Cult of the Cobra." I whispered, looking at the robes the shooters were wearing.

"I'm sure Batman would have mentioned it if he knew a dangerous cult was running the Prisca's venom operation." Aqualad assured, but there was an air of uncertainty in his voice. 

"The two groups have been fighting, that's why the supply is cut off. But I have to find out why the Cobra's are hoarding it." Robin mumbled to himself, I shot him a look.

"You? Not all of us?" KF questioned.

"This team need a leader." Robin growled.

"And that's you? You're a thirteen year old kid who ducked out the first chance he got." KF then laughed, "You're not Batman!"

"I'm the closest thing we got." He sneered.

"Guys, stop it! The last thing we need is for the team to be fighting!" I whisper yelled, last thing we needed or wanted was more people knowing we were on the island. Bane started laughing.

"Such clever ninos, but you only know half the story. Let me go, and I'll show you, via my secret entrance."

I frowned walking closer to him. Moving my foot on the ground to feel his heartbeat. It was normal, slightly elevated, but not to the point where he would be lying. Maybe a slight lie in his words, a catch.

"He's not lying," I confirmed.

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

We untied him and let him lead us to his 'secret entrance' which in the end was an abandoned mineshaft. We walked through it silently until coming upon a door that lead into the factory. We snuck in and Robin snuck off yet again.

"Has that little fool already been caught?" Bane asked.

"No, he just does that." Aqualad sighed. KF put his goggles on and ran off.

"It's a massive shipment." I whispered looking over the vast number of boxes being stacked.

"Yeah, but they're only taking new product off the line, they aren't touching this venom." Superboy added.

"Maybe freshness counts?"

"A helicopter's coming." Superboy said looking up.

"Sportsmaster," Aqualad stated suddenly, "We need a plan, now."

"I have a suggestion." Bane jumped into sight revealing our location. A giant creature lunged for us and Superboy tackled it down. I ducked behind Aqualad's water shield, looking over how many people we had to face.

"Mind loaning me some water?" Before he could answer I moved my hands controlling to water, and knocked the guns out of the men's hands.

"M'gann link us!" I yelled.

"Everyone on line?" A chorus of 'yes' was said.

"Good, we need to regroup." Aqualad ordered. I knocked someone back with a chunk of earth. "Kid clear a path."

KF cleared a path and we all ran back through the mine tunnel. I brought my arms down blocking the tunnel behind us with rocks. Aqualad snapped a glow-stick filling the area with an eerie red glow.

"How could my first mission as leader go wrong?" Robin mumbled. I held back the urge to laugh, he wasn't exactly 'leading', more disappearing when we needed him.

"Fighting with Batman, your roles are clear, but this is a team. A leader must be clear, he can't disappear and expect others to follow." I nudged his arm.

"Well then, who's going to lead?" Robin looked over to me.

"Oh no, if you're too young then I'm in the same boat. Aqualad should be leading us." I sighed. He had been leading us, mine as well make it official.

"I accept the burden until you are ready to take it from me." Aqualad out his hand on Robin's shoulder. "Our first priority is preventing that shipment from leaving this island."

We all nodded starting to run to the end of the tunnel. Bane stepped in front of the exit, empty blockbuster venom containers scattered around him. This wasn't good, one container was dangerous, let alone at least five.

"Hello ninos, I'm feeling, explosive." He smirked, we looked up finding bombs lining the walls.

"KF you'll need a running start." I told him. He seemed to pick up on what I was implying

KF snatched the trigger from Bane and Superboy punched him out cold. I smirked lightly, not so tough now is he?

We ran past and unconscious Bane to the helicopter. I held the beast back with a fountain of water. I saw Sportmaster shooting at Superboy and I passed the water to Aqualad running to help him. Sportmaster kicked me where my burn was and I hissed in pain feeling blood drip down my side under my uniform. So much for mostly healed.

He held the gun up to my head and pulled me onto the ship with him. He pulled me onto the helicopter with him then pushed me to the floor. I jumped out of the door and pushed the bomb trigger destroying the back half of the ship.

I braced myself for the impact of the ground only to be met with someone catching me. I opened my eyes meeting with the white lenses of Robin's mask. I smiled and shot fire at the building, we had to get rid of the factory at least. We all watched it go up in orange and red glowing flames.

"It's beautiful, in a way." I whispered.

I stood silently in front of Batman with my eyes on the ground. All of us prepared for either a lecture, or the punishment of a lifetime. It didn't matter how close I was to him when he was upset.

"A simple recon mission, observe and report. You'll each receive a report of your many mistakes. Also, (Y/n), you're grounded."

"But Uncle Bat-"

"Don't 'Uncle Bat' me, you're dismissed."

I groaned and walked off to my room ready for a week of boredom.
