Giving a loud sigh while walking down the street and turning facing Ryo, "Okay just so you know my home is really different from others." Star said rubbing the back of her head like a nervous tick. "It can't be that different can it?" Ryo thought smiling weakly as he followed the young girl up a flight of stairs, "You might wanna stand back." She stated pulling a key out and unlocking the door. The door had barely opened when a big black wolf barreled out crashing right into Star and had pinned her to the floor, "Hey what happened? We could smell a change in the wind! It came from your school, is someone hurt or did you find the armors?!" The wolf growled out making Ryo stare at the two with wide eyes. "Flame you are scaring our guest!" Another voice growled making Ryo jump stumbling over his footing thus crashing onto his rear end, "Huh?" Flame muttered turning looking at the young boy and smirking.

"What is going on here?!" Ryo called staring at the situation in front of him, "Sorry this over grown beast is Flame but he is all bark with no bite." Star muttered pushing the black wolf off of her self. "Then this is Fang, she is gentle and the best friend I could ever have." She said walking over to a white wolf whose head popped out from the doorway, "Your parents let you have pet wolves and not only that but they freaking talk?!" Ryo screamed out feeling his head swim with so many questions then answers at the minute. "Shhh I don't need my neighbors knowing!" Star growled out holding a finger to her lips and quickly pushed both wolves back into the apartment, closing the door once Ryo had picked him self up and followed the others into the little apartment as well.

"Okay well what would you like to know first?" Star asked setting her stuff down and walking into the kitchen, "Hell I don't even know where to start?!" Ryo grumbled sitting down at a small table as Star came walking back carrying a tray with tea and snacks. Tilting his head back sighing as he rolled everything in his head before bringing it forward, "Alright how about what happened at school?" He asked looking at Star who nodded. "Well you see you were chosen to be the armor of fire, an elemental hero who has to fight the darkness that seeks to take control over the world." Star said taking one of the cups from the tray and took a small sip, "I see so what is that red light like what just appear when I need it or do I have to chant some crazy chant to make it appear?" He asked feeling his head soak with sweat at the thought of him having to do that.

Star blinked trying not to laugh as she covered her mouth quickly, Ryo looked at her with a raised eyebrow then watched as she raised her hand to use a finger pointing at him. "Eh? Why are you just pointing at me?" He asked in a rushed tone, "Look around your neck you dimwit!" She growled at him and crossed her arms. Looking down allowed him to see a red roughly cut piece of red crystal, "Oh my Star so you did do something right for once and all on your own too?" Flame's voice cut threw the air like a knife and Star quickly glared at the black wolf.

"Okay so then why do you have two wolves who live with you and where are your mother and father?" Ryo asked making the fighting duo stop, Star sighed looking away hoping to keep the pain off her face. "Both Flame and I served a different master at the time, that master was Star's father. Who sadly gave his life up to seal the darkness away when Star was merely an infant." Fang spoke up earning a jump from Ryo, "Wait so what about her mother?" Ryo asked looking at Star from the corner of his eyes then back to Fang. "She was the last bearer of the armor of fire....well that was til you came along." Fang added casting her eyes to Star as to keep a watchful eye on the young girl. "Any way, all I have left to remember them by is this necklace and it holds the power...well three now....of the elemental heroes." Star said holding the star necklace up which now seem to have two missing gems, "Alright so how do we find the rest of them?" Ryo asked, taking his own cup and taking a sip from it.

"I am not sure but I think if we keep looking around the school then they should show up, just like you did." Star joked out smiling not taking note of the dusty rose color on Ryo's cheeks, Star kept the part about Kira and the fact she acted like flowing water out for now. The two chatted the rest of the night about different things, bidding farewell to Ryo as he waved heading home. "Oh my seems someone has the hots for a good looking boy." Flame chuckled making Star glare at him and quickly started chasing the black wolf threw the house, "Will you two knock it off!" Fang called out but sadly it seemed to fall on deaf ears.

Star headed to bed that night with her mind full of her own questions, she had found one armor but would it be so easy to find the others? Sighing allowing her eyes to fall close and pull the blanket over her head, Fang later walked into the young girls room and crawled under the blanket to be met with a pair of welcoming arms. "Fang I am so scared....what if I mess up more then I have now?" Star's low voice murmured out causing the white wolf to gently lick the young girls face. "Star you haven't messed up and if anything both your mother and father would be so proud of you for finding the fire armor all on your own." Fang spoke in a tender voice, Star merely nodded her head and held onto Fang tighter but not enough to hurt the wolf.

Sunlight streamed in from the window causing Star to stir in her sleep, slowly opening her eyes allowed her sight to come into focus with a pair of red eyes. "You sleep any later and we're gonna be late for school." Ryo's voice called to her and Star shot up in bed to see Flame snickering with Fang glaring at him. "Shit!" She yelled, shooting from the bed and running to the near by bathroom to quickly brush her teeth and hair, quickly taking note that she never even changed clothes at all before bed. Groaning on the inside knowing she should but at last being pressed for time was not gonna allow for it, rushing back out and slipping her shoes on only to end up being caught by Ryo when she stumbled over her self.

"Thanks lets go! Fang! Flame! Watch over the place!" Star called out thus rushing out the door with Ryo hot on her trail, "You know you are a heavy sleeper right?" Ryo spoke out while they ran. "Well sorry yesterday kinda took it out of me you know!" Star shot back with a glare on her face. Ryo laughed earning him self an even more heated glare from Star, after much weaving and waving threw traffic or groups of people, both quickly changed their shoes and bid farewell to another.

Peeking her head to peer around seeing that Mr. Daichi was dosing at his desk and Star quickly slipped into the room. Some students watched her sneak to her desk while others just seemed unfazed or not to care, "Over sleep did we?" Kira's voice asked earning a jump from Star who laughed weakly giving a small nod to answer her. Everything seemed to slow down and be at peace when Kira was around, how could that be? Was Star already on to the next armor or was this just Kira being well...Kira, there had to be a way for Star to test to see if Kira was or else it was just to make a fool of her self.

Biting her lip thus allowing her head to free fall onto her desk, Star groaned when pain rushed threw her head. "Wow are we harming ourselves now?" Kira asked with a smirk playing on her lips, "Aren't you suppose to ask if I alright or not?" Star asked moving her head to the side so she was able to see Kira. "You did it all on your own so....you got no one to blame but your self." Kira said still having that smirk playing on her rosey pink lips, Star groaned sitting up and yawned. "So did you hear what happen yesterday?" Kira asked out of nowhere causing Star to stiffen at the sudden question, "Um...something happened?" Star asked putting on a mask to hide any knowledge of her knowing yesterday's events.

"Yeah some kind of fight broke out and the school has the hallways closed down for now." Kira spoke watching the young girl closely, "Oh man must have been some kind of fight huh?" Star question looking away til something grabbed a hold onto her ear. "You know something don't you?" Kira growled in a low voice thus Star stammered putting her hands up. "You looked away and also you're putting on a fake mask to hide your self." Kira added pulling on Star's ear even more, sighing lowering her hands slowly nodding. "Look I may sound like I am crazy but....yesterday I...got into a fight with a school punk and he may or may not try to pull something." Star spoke, sighing glancing up when she felt her ear being freed. "Are you talking about Saburo?" Kira asked watching the young girl nod her head and let her own sigh out knowing all too well about the school punk Saburo.

Star watched Kira from the corner of her eye when the whole building started to shake and a loud pricing roar echoed causing some windows to be shattered, "Crap is it more darkness trying to take someone over?" Star thought watching some students start running out into the hallway thus making her self move. Kira smirked standing up and swiftly made her way out of the classroom following closely behind Star, "Star there you are!" Ryo called from the other end of the hallway which Kira ducked around a corner to remain unseen.

"Do you think its same as yesterday?" Ryo asked while Star nodded her head when another loud roar shook the building again. "Quick Ryo you got to transform and cleanse the student from the darkness!" Star called out stepping back to keep her footing and Ryo nodded grabbing a red crystal around his neck, "Armor of Fire!" Ryo shouted leaving Kira to watch fire surround him. "What in seven layers of french toast is going on?" Kira thought giving her self a quick pinch to make sure this wasn't a dream, though she was left in awe seeing the once Ryo reappear clad in fiery red armor and a katana strapped to his back.

No one had to wait long as the lights flickered out leaving the only light source coming from Ryo and his armor, at one end of the hallway showed a student yet her body was transforming. She looked like a pile of slime, Kira shuddered at the thought of it touching her but moved back when a ball of it flew by her face. "Shit too close!" She thought checking her self over and turned her sights back on the fight, fully unaware that danger was closing in on her. Ryo pulled his katana out moving to try and slice threw the slime, "Crap I can't cut threw it!" He growled jumping back glaring lowly. Star jumped back tripping over her own two feet, Kira flinched to move forward to aid the young girl yet was stopped when Ryo dashed over scooping the girl up and jumping away.

What were these two trying to do and why were they putting themselves in danger for someone they didn't even know? Kira blinked when seeing a shadow loomed over her from behind, "Huh....what in the..." Kira yelped quickly lunging out of the way or so she thought. Glancing up to see the slime was close enough to reach her and Kira closed her eyes waiting for the end, "KIRA!" Star's voice shouted near by and Kira's eyes flew open when she felt a pair of hands shove her.

Throwing her emerald green eyes to where she last was, Star now stood in the spot and was slowly being swallowed by the black color slime. "You idiot! Why did you do that?" Kira gasped out and rushed forward grabbing Star by her shoulders, attempting to free her but the more she pulled the more the slime fought back. Steadily Star was covered up to her head, "Kira...get away..." Star gritted out slowly reaching up while using the last of her strength to push the fiery red head back. Giving a small smile Star remained unaware that her necklace was now clutched in Kira's hands, "No! Star!" Kira screamed, watching as the young girl's head disappeared under the pile of slime.
