A/N: I am finally writing again!! Sorry I hadn't updated for a while!! And btw, my keyboard is broken, so that means even more spelling errors.... but enough of that, enjoy the chapter!! (I'll try to make this chapter EXTRA long)

Cirrus' POV

She stood their unable to produce words. her mouth slightly agape, and her eyes pointed in another direction.

I cleared my throat, hoping to regain her focus on my question. "So? Why did you leave?"

She inhaled a deep breath before speaking.

"I had to Cirrus."

"That doesn't explain anything." she snarled.

Her mom walked forward. Her shoulder now healed completely without any hassle. She lightly placed her hands on Cirrus' shoulders.

"It was your father sweetie."

My... father? I've never even met him, nor asked about him.

"what?" I asked her cautiously. I patiently waited for my answer, but it seemed as if it took forever.

"your father had the metal element. He was the kindest, sweetest, and most handsome man I ever met. he worked in a small air village called Aria. my home town. we met and fell in love there. We even had 2 beautiful baby boys a couple years before you were born. "

"I have brothers?" she nods her head silently before continuing.

"But as the years past, and the eldest, Airon, turned 10 your father became a wreck. He was now one of the richest men alive, yet, he wanted something else, power. He trained Airon to follow in his foot steps, and Slate soon after."

"And when I had you, I decided to cut ties with him. He wasn't the same man I loved and married. I asked the boys to come with, but they refused, and forgot about me completely."

"But that still doesn't explain why you left for so long."

"I had to watch over them. I didn't want them doing things that could possibly harm this world."

My eyes began to tear, and my anger, saddness and lowliness escaped my body.

"But you had to watch over me! You should've stayed with me!!" The tears flowed out of my eyes like violent waterfalls.

"But honey, I was watching over you. I could see you by using my powers. I'm the 2nd mage remember?" she cooed while hugging me and stroking my black hair.

"I-I want to go home."

Her face showed surprise, but also happiness.

"Will you come with me?" She smiled, but then it faded.

"For a little while, but then I must leave again."

"I'm coming with you." I state.

"What?" She says awestrucke ed

"I'm coming with you." I say louder this time. She smiles in eesponse.

"I'm glad."

Then we made our trip to Aria, which wasn't very long considering I could give her a ride on a cloud. We arrived at sunset, and she led me to an inn. People weren't only amazed to see me back in the village, bur also my mom. we checked into the inn and made our way to our room. the decor was pleasant, it wasn't something I would live in forever, but it was good for now, and I was glad it was only temporary. we sprawled out on our separate beds.

"Cirrus? I'm sorry for attaking you."t. I smiled.

"I'm sorry for attacking you back."

As we eased into sleep, I remembered one thing I desperately wanted to ask her.

"Mom?" I heard her shift, waking slightly.

"Yes honey?"

"What was my father's name?" she was now fully facing me, grinning ear to ear.

"Grayson Steel."

Then I fell asleep. feeling satisfied with the answers I'd been given.

I hope it was long enough. I stayed up till 1:44 am writing it. 😴.

Btow I don't think I told you yet, sooo did anyone figure out who her mom is yet??

Obviously her dad is Slate and Airon's dad. which I bet you NEVER expected. >:)
