Chapter 10
I Hate You
Cirrus' POV
"really?" she breathed out, slight tears escaping her dull, gray eyes. "i was beginning to lose hope." she grasped the necklace around her neck hugging it tightly, I hadn't even realized she was wearing a necklace. But when she released the small stone from around her neck I realized just what it was.
It was my destiny stone.
Destiny's POV
It all happened so fast. At first, we were all sitting calmly in Cirrus' living room. Then, only two seconds later I was being shoved to the ground, with my head slamming into the floor. I didn't know what to do. I wanted to fight back, but how could I?
"You stole it from me!" I assumed Cirrus was screaming while repetitively slamming my back onto the floor. I shoved her off and quickly got up off the ground, grasping a surface to steady myself.
"I never stole anything! what are you talking about?!" I yelled back.
"You stole my necklace! You thief!" She shrieked again before I was slammed into the wall. I heard Blaze and Marina trying to hold her back, but a crash and bang of objects showed they were blown back also.
My body was lifted off the ground without anyone touching me, so I assumed she was using her powers. I wish I could attack this crazy woman with my powers, maybe even teach her a lesson. I started kicking and thrashing. "I never stole it! Aunt Caterina gave it to me when I was a baby!"
I dropped suddenly out of the air. "what?" she whispered confused.
"she did." I hissed while brushing off my clothes.
"I don't believe you, you liar! She wouldn't take something so precious to me away!" I heard her footsteps stomping towards me, and it all seemed like it was happening in slow motion. I could distinctly hear an imaginary countdown in my head, and each step made her huff out a big angry breath of air.
And then it happened.
I felt the wind pick up, and I could hear the hissing, whistling sound of the fast air moving in the room. I could feel a slight flicker in my eyes and the wind picked up even more. I heard her scream, and things crashed into the walls and floor.
I didn't know what was happening, I didn't understand what I was doing, and I couldn't bring myself to stop.
Everything was passing by in a huge uncontrollable blur. Until I felt a hand grasp my shoulder tightly, and shake me. "Stop! Stop! Your out of control!" they yelled. I was knocked back into my senses, and my vision flickered on for just the slightest second.
Things were scattered and thrown all over the place. and a small vortex of wind stood in the middle of the room, holding Cirrus' captive.
Then, all at once, the light shut off again, and everything went black.
I collapsed to the ground, my breathing uncontrollable. I felt a huge migraine surround my head, and nausea hit me like a rock. I heard a thump land on the ground and a harsh wheezing breath soon following.
"What was that?" I gasped shocked but also painfully.
"You used your pure powers." A voice answered that I finally recognized as Auntie Cat.

We all sat at the dinner table silently, not discussing the tornado that occurred in the living room. Utensils were heard brushing against plates and other silverware.
"I guess I owe you your explanation now don't I?" Auntie Cat said. No one replied so she let out a sigh.
"Cirrus, the truth is, is that the necklace wasn't supposed to be for you. It was supposed to be Destiny's birthday gift. However, when I first bought the gift, I let you admire it because you thought it was pretty." She paused to clear her throat. " But, you ended up discovering its powers, and it showed you your future, am I right?" Cirrus gave a quiet yes.
"So what exactly did you see Cirrus?"
"I saw an older girl, she gave me the necklace and told me to take care of it, and to protect it as it was my own child, and to cherish it forever. And I promised to her I would." She sighed, "But I never could, because she took it away from me." she hissed. I scowled, " I hate you." I murmured back.
Auntie Cat snapped her fingers, signaling for us to stop arguing. "She didn't take it from you, I did. I couldn't let you figure out your future without even letting you live it." She let the news sink in before I heard her chair creak, and skid across the floor. Followed by harsh footsteps leaving the room.
"But you never explained my conflict. What are the elemental flowers? I've never learned, or even heard about them." I said.
"Ah yes, the flowers. I always thought they were a myth, but obviously my daughter, Kaydance proved me wrong. The flowers are said to be pure, natural sources of elemental power. Each one residing in its natural elements. But no one has ever been able to find them, or let alone bring them back for research or use. But I guess they are strong enough to restore your power, and bring back your sight." she explains.
"And what happened to me in the living room? I actually saw something for a slight second, I thought my vision was coming back, but then it turned black. And what do you mean by, 'I was using my pure powers?' I thought all my elements were shut down?"
"yes, but I suppose you powers, even when 'shut down' react to immediate danger, and protects you. And considering how strong your pure elements can get, Im guessing it had enough force, power, and energy to allow you to see for a short period of time. "
I was speechless, did she have the answer for everything? I was beginning to think she did.
"Oh and I thought Cirrus said we had to find all seven elemental flowers. But how is that possible if there are only 6 elements?" Marina asks.
"um, why don't we all head to bed. its been a long night. Ill clean up the kitchen. Upstairs there are extra bedrooms, make yourself at home." I slowly slid my chair out and held onto the wall, I began walking until I felt an arm around my shoulders, leading me up the steps and into a room.
"she's hiding something"
"i agree. You can have the bed, im going to go take a shower." Marina said, and I nodded my head. I felt my way around until, I felt the soft comforter of the bed. I pulled the covers down, and slid onto the soft mattress. I didn't even have time to think about the past events, because sleep took over and my eyes shut closed, tossing me into a deep sleep.
