Chapter 1
The Beginning of Every End

4 weeks later...

Cirrus' POV

As I lay beneath my tree, I can't stop thinking about him. His small, yet warm smile. My heart skipped a beat-- No! Stop. You can't let your wall crumble. You have to stay strong. You HAVE to find your stolen necklace.

I shot up from my spot, and resumed my post in the branches of the tree. But I still couldn't help myself from daydreaming about him.

A rustle of the bushes caught me off guard as my head darted towards the noise. Then I felt a short breeze run by my face, followed by the warmth of something wet against my cheek. I turned my head towards the tree to see an arrow stuck in between the bark.

I touched the liquid and knew right away it was blood. i steadied myself on a higher branch and searched for the shooter.

Another arrow whizzed passed my face, barely missing it. I plucked the arrow out of the tree and aimed it at the bushes. The air seemed to push it even faster. I soon heard a grunt as the arrow struck the mysterious attacker. I swiftly jumped down off the tree to see who had attacked.

I blew the bush out of my way. And as I looked down upon the person, I could feel myself start to cry.

"Mom?"

Hey everyone! Sorry to keep you all waiting. i hope you enjoyed this sort of suspenseful chapter, which I apologize for it being so short. I really wanted to get Cirrus into the story kinda fast, for as she will play a big part in this story. The picture is Cirrus by the way as I mentioned above.
