Chapter 6

Not Gonna Listen

Shane Parker's POV

It was about, 8 o'clock in the afternoon. I was laying in my bed looking out my window. I wonder what Destiny's doing right now. I got up to peek out my door and see if anyone was there.

No one in sight.

My dad didn't want me messing with her since he didn't want to scare her to prematurely. But I couldn't stay away. I can never stay away.

Ok, so I do admit, I do like her. I know I can't be with her though, because of what my dad's going to do to her. But still, I do like her. It feels like there's magic involved somehow...

Your crazy! The little voice in my head, originally called my conscience said.

I walked over to my window and jumped out. I shifted into a bird and flew to her castle. I swiftly landed on her balcony, making no noise whatsoever. I took out a lock-picker, and opened her sliding glass door. she was laying sprawled out on her bed.

I walked over to her and reached my hand out to touch her sleeping figure. She shifted on the bed, and I retracted my hand. I took out my phone and took a picture of her. I pressed the messaging icon and tapped her name. I typed,

"Hey sweets, I noticed that you disappeared in the woods. I have no idea how you did it, but I'm yearning to find out.

Hope to see you soon,

Shane Parker.

P.S. Have a good nap."

Then I added the picture of her sleeping. But before I pressed send, I walked out to her balcony, closing the sliding glass door on my way. Then, I sent the text.

"Come on!" I heard her say once the phone beeped. I shifted into a spider, yeah, a spider. Then crawled on the bottom of the balcony so she wouldn't see me. I heard the door open swiftly, then close again. I changed into a bird then flew back to my home.

It was about 8:30 when I got back. I landed on my window then climbed in. I shifted back, only to be greeted by my dad. "You were visiting her again weren't you? Don't you remember what I told you?!" He asked.

"Yeah"

"Then why won't you listen!?"

"Cuz"

"Tell me son, do you like her? because you know what has to happen to her. its for the good of our kind. you know that." He said.

"No" I answered while looking down. He nodded his head 'yes' before I said,

"So do you have a plan. Because if you don't get this over with, I think I'm going to go crazy."

"Yes, and i think this one is going to work..." he smirked and left the room. I fell on my bed. and closed my eyes, right after I fell asleep, I started to think. 'is this going to work? I mean, every time I see her, she is more powerful. is his plan actually going to work?'
