Chapter 26
Take it or Leave it

Blaze's POV.

"Come on Luke! Hurry up!! We're almost there!!!"

"I'm hurrying! Jeez you'd think I'd be faster than you..."

"What's that supposed to mean?!"

Luke started to run faster, and avoided my question. The castle was literally only a few minutes away, you could take a picture and the castle would be in the background.

We kept running and running, until finally, we made it back to the castle. I barged through the door, but I was immediately visited with a shock of electricity.

"Damn Thunder! What the hell?!"

He immediately stopped shooting me and stared in awe.

"Blaze?"

"Who do you think it is??" I said while smirking. I turned around and saw Marina with a glass shattered on the ground, and her mouth agape. I spread my arms open for a hug, but she stomped over to me...

And slapped me, HARD.

"OUCH?!!"

"That's what you get for ditching us! I can't believe you'd do that to Destiny, she was miserable!" My face turned into a frown. But then I remembered the whole reason why I rushed over here all of the sudden.

"Destiny needs help. She is at Fletcher's stronghold and they are plotting something, but Shane wouldn't tell me wh---" Marina gasps.

"Shane? You mean Fletcher's son? You've got to be kidding me. He's probably tricking you, Blaze!"

"Just believe me! He was telling the truth. I know he was." My voice turned quiet as I thought about what they could be doing to Destiny at this very moment. "We've got to go get her." I stated. "Whether your coming or not."

I started to turn my back towards the door, but Marina grabbed my shoulder.

"We're in. Let's go."

As we left the castle once again, I noticed Luke sitting there panting.

"Tired there huh?" I ask.

"Only because of you smart a$$." he reply's. Marina screams and points at Luke.

I'm guessing she's never seen a talking dog before.

I snickered at my own comment before introducing Luke.

"Guys, this is Luke. Yes, he is a talking dog. oh and he's also a resourcer." I watched as they're mouths dropped at the same time.

"Um, Blaze. there's something I haven't told you." Luke mentions. I raise my eyebrows in response.

"Heh, I'm also and icer." and then, it was my turn for my mouth to drop. As I started thinking of the many theories for how Luke is such an a$$ for not telling me, I remembered yet again what we were doing.

"We've got to go." I said and they began to walk.

What else hasn't he told me??

Destiny's POV

2 and a half hours later...

8:30pm

I'm screwed

He's not here yet.

Blaze had yet to arrive and it was getting close to 10 o'clock. As I laid on the bed I thought quietly. Then a vision showed.

I saw waves, and water. And I saw Fletcher trying to swim out of it's strong currents, and then---

The vision ended abruptly has the door opened and and was slammed shut. my head darted towards the door. And although my vision was blurred, I could still tell it was Parker.

"Your early."

"That I am. I have things to do later, so let's get this over with."

"No! Don't touch me!" I scream as I scoot away from him. My eyes squinted shut, and then I felt a mental POP in my head.

I held up my hand to shield myself. Then suddenly, i felt something cool against my finger tips. I reopened my eyes to see water everywhere. the wall had a giant hole with water gushing all around. And Fletcher was stuck struggling inside the waves, just like in the vision.

But then, something had grabbed a hold of my hair, and the waves started to get smaller.

I was pushed onto my back, and Fletcher held the bottle in his hand. the liquid was swiftly squeezed but just as the drops fell out of the bottle, a giant wave crashed into us, and I couldn't tell if it went into my eyes or not.

The water was stronger and more powerful then it usually was. And slowly, I became tired, and I felt, drained. The waves died down, and I looked towards the floor. Fletcher was on the ground, unmoving. The room began to spin, and my head began to ache. I laid back on the bed as black spots appeared in my vision.

And then, I was out cold.
