Why Do All Air Elementals Try To Kill Me?

Blaze's POV

I hadn't realized how far away I was from the castle till I actually had to walk the whole way back.

"Are we there yet? It's been like 5 days." Luke said looking exhausted.

"I think so, and your over exaggerating. we took a ride from that girl back there like 20 minutes ago. remember?"

"Oh yeah, what was her name again? Serena? S-"

"Cirrus. I think it was Cirrus."

"Yeah. Her, I remember." he says dazed.

"Look there's a clearing up ahead. lets go"

We start going a bit faster and we reach the opening in the woods. I leads into a a small town. we see a sign saying

"WELCOME TO ARIA"

"This must be a little air element village." I say.

"Let's just stroll through and see if we're close to the castle." He nods his head.

But every person we approached flew away or hid in their homes.

"Why are they all scared of us?" Luke asks.

"Their air elementals. so they're a bit cowardly, they don't like strangers."

Then why didn't Cirrus run away?

---------flashback--------------------------

"I need a break, lets just rest here quick." Luke says.

We stop by a small stream, so I clean my face of sweat and dirt. But as I look into my reflection, I see a girl up in the trees staring at us dangerously. as is she'd kill us in a second.

I turn swiftly fireball in hand. just as she jumps off the tree I throw the fire at her barely missing her.

We fight for a little, and she doesn't attack, she just stays defensive.

But when Luke helps me and traps her in a cage of tree branches she takes the offensive side. she blows the trees away from her, signaling she was an air elemental.

She blows Luke into the water and me into a tree.

Thank goodness it wasn't the other way around. I thought.

"What are you doing here pretty boy? Hmm? Gonna steal something? Or did you already? Do you have it? The stone?" She asked now sounding as threatening as she looked.

"I-I don't know what your talking about! I'm just heading to the castle to see Princess Destiny." I admit.

Why do all Air elementals want to kill me?!?! I thought.

She looks me in the eye for a good 2 minutes before releasing me, and I fall to the ground with a thud.

"Alright. I believe you, I can tell if people are lying. what's your name?" She asks.

"Blaze Chantler."

She grabs my face and stared me in the eyes.

"Your a fire elemental." I nod my head.

"My name is Cirrus Moon. If you didn't notice, I'm an air elemental. and sorry if I scared you I do that to a lot of people." she smiles softly.

"It's fine. So what was all that with stealing and a stone? You seemed pretty mad, and scary on my part."

"Oh yeah," her face drops. "something very important was stolen from me as a baby, they killed my mother. and I'm trying to find them."

"I'm sorry if I sound nosy, but, what was stolen from you?" I ask curiously.

"It was--it's a--" she pausing trying to spit it out. I stare at her waiting for her answer.

"A Destiny Stone."

CLIFFHANGER........ You guys must love me. but anyway, I hope you found your character elementslover17 ;) don't tell them who you are. I'm pretty sure they'll either find out/figure out who it is. you'll be mentioned a bit in the next chapter, but after that you'll be in the 3rd book a lot.
