Chapter 23
Voices in my Head

2 days later....

Destiny's POV

We arrived at the castle 2 days ago. Blaze healed me with my stone, and we are currently outside playing football. (More like throwing a football back and forth) I was healthy, and we were un disturbed by any other, well, you know... Enemies, we were also planning a rescue mission for my parents.

"Ouch! That hurt! How the hell did you throw that hard!" Blaze whined. "Suck it up and be a man! Geeez!" I mocked him. He picked up the football and tossed it at my face. But instead of it actually hitting my face, I caught it and made it look like it hit my face. "Ouch!!" I yelled and tumbled backwards.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry! Where's it hurt?" He asked while rushing over to my aid. "Umm, nowhere!" I shouted while pushing the football into his face and running away. "Haha!!" I laughed as I ran for the castle door. "Oh you little brat! Get back here!!" He started running after me.

I ran inside the castle and locked the door. I put my back against it and saw Marina and Thunder staring at me like I was crazy. "Let me guess," Marina started. "You were playing football, you hit him in the face, he tried to hit you back, you faked it, you ran away and locked him out." I was stunned as she knew exactly what had happened.

"Uh yeah" thunder got up and unlocked the door. Blaze came rushing in and frantically searched the room. I had moved away and into my bedroom almost immediately after I replied to Marina, I Don't know why but I had this itching feeling that he was gonna barge in the castle at any giving moment. And right I was.

"Where is she!" I heard him say through the door. He started rushing down the hall. He opened the door and saw me laying on the bed. "Hello stranger." I greeted him. He jumped on top of me and held my wrists high above my head. "You thought you could get away? Wrong!" He said and then picked me up and put me over his shoulder.

He ran outside of the room and into the living room. "Put me down you bastard!" I said while laughing and pounding on his back. "You know I don't like being carried!!" "Not until you say I'm the clever one." He smirked.

"But we both know that isn't true!" I mocked him. I heard a small voice saying "I'm late for my new guard job. I'd better hurry this up." Wait a second! Blaze got a new job as a guard! Am... Am I reading his mind? "Babe...babe are you ok?" I realized that I had zoned out.

"Oh yeah.... Are you gonna be late for your job?" I asked. "Ummm... Uhhh... Yeah... How did you know?" "I don't know.. We'll talk about it later." I said questionably. "Fine." He said. He left the room and came back a few minutes later in a new guards uniform, complete with, a jacket, a belt, a hat, and matching boots.

And oh did he look hot. "Well finish our little... Fight later." "Alright I'll be waiting" he was about to say something when I sealed his mouth shut with a kiss. As we released I smirked and pushed him out the door. Blowing him a kiss as he left for the court yard. I shut the door and turned around.

I saw once again, 2 pairs of eyes staring at me. "what!! Can't a girl spend a little quality time with her boyfriend?" I questioned them. They just turned around and giggled. "Oh yeah, and like you 2 don't do it either! Pa-lease!" she turned around and stuck her tongue out at me before skipping into her room.

With thunder soon following. I stared her down until she reached for her door handle. Then I heard another voice in my head. But this time it said, "we do spend a lot of quality time together, don't we? Heck! He practically follows me wherever we go!" I soon found myself saying to her.

"You got that right!" I said it as if she actually said that to my face, assuming that the voice in my head belonged to her. She looked at me with a confused face. "What do you mean?" She asked. "I was just agreeing to what you said!" "WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT???!!!" she said as her voice got louder.

"You said, we do spend a lot of quality time together, don't we? Heck! He practically follows me wherever we go!" I recited. "B-but I didn't say that..." She said with a worried face on. "I thought it...." "What!! So I like read your mind or something! That's effin crazy!" First I read slates mind a while back, then I read blazes mind, and now I read marina's? What the hell is going on here!

Ok so I guess I didn't tell you EVERYTHING and sorry it was a bit of a cliffhanger... But this chapter will make sense after you read, and I write, the next chapter! And that one will be even closer to me revealing the secret, big, amazing, and spectacular cliffhanger for the ending!! I know, I just gave a big secret away, woopdie do.
