The next day started off with regular classes like English in the morning. It seemed like most people were bored, waiting for the actual hero training to begin. While we were all hoping to become pro heroes this stuff was still important. After the morning classes were over Midoriya invited me to have lunch with him, Iida, and Uraraka. The lunchroom was very nice and the food, while cheap, tasted amazing.

I sat next to Midoriya with a bowl of spicy ramen, spicy food was some of my favorites, especially when it had shrimp. Iida sat across from me and Uraraka across from Midoriya. We chatted casually for a bit regarding what we learned over the morning. As we were talking the lunch person came over to check on us, I guess he was a hero because Midoriya started gushing over him, I didn't recognize him though.

After lunch we went back to the classroom, everyone was eager for hero training. This morning Shota told me that today was going to be challenging, but I assured him I wasn't worried. He just gave me this look like he knew something I didn't, which happened a lot. Shota never told me things before they happened unless necessary. Something about you should learn in the moment, you won't always be prepared for every situation. So I sat there, doodling in my notebook waiting for class to begin.

Suddenly the door slid open and All Might burst in, "I am here, to teach!" He strode in exuding confidence causing the class to erupt in chatter. All Might really was going to be our teacher, I could hardly contain myself. All Might was my favorite hero besides Shota, I owed All Might a debt I could never repay.

"Woah that's All Might's Silver Age costume!" Midoriya said equally as excited as everyone else.

"Alright class, today we start basic hero training!" All Might explained, "we will be doing battle training and for that you need your costumes!" He pressed a button and out of the wall briefcases appeared with our assigned numbers.

Before the school year began we had to register our quirks along with designs for hero costumes. We were given an allowance and we filled out the details of what we wanted. Then a costume company would take those and make our designs. Shota helped with some of the details for mine but for the most part I knew what I wanted. I sent sketches of my costume along with notes on support equipment that I would need.

"Go ahead and change and I'll meet you at training ground beta!" All Might explained before leaving the classroom.

I grabbed the case with the number 20 on it. I opened it and was already impressed, they got the colors perfectly. Black and grey just how I wanted it, even though my quirk was elemental I wanted something that was neutral colors just incase I needed it for stealth missions. I quickly pulled it on, fastening the straps and belts. My shoulders were covered in an incredibly lightweight metal along with wrist guards made with the same metal. The half corset was stiff to protect my torso and it didn't hinder my mobility. I had a belt across my chest with three bottles with water, the instructions informed me that as long as there was even the slightest amount of humidity in the air they would automatically refill. On my hip were a few bags with sand I could use to blind opponents.  I tugged on the knee pads, made of the same metal as the bracers and corset. Lastly, I pulled on my boots and tied them tight before clipping the straps over the laces. I kept the hood down and my goggles around my neck. Just as I was closing the suitcase I noticed a piece of leather, the instructions said they left it for my hair, just to add some more style for the overall look. I wrapped it around the middle of my braid and headed out to the test ground.

We lined up according to our rankings, this put me in between Bakugo and Iida. I was relieved to have a friend on one side but on the other... Bakugo's outfit was made for his explosive personality. It was flashy and honestly, cool. I quickly looked away before he caught me staring too long. Iida's costume was sleek, it really brought out his engine quirk. Midoriya was the last one out, his costume was a teal-like color and the ears reminded me of All Might. Even the mask over his face seemed like a smile. It made me giggle just from how much he admired All Might.

"Look at you all," All Might said scanning over us. "You all look like real heroes, but do you have what it takes to actually be one? I hope you newbies are ready!"

"Sir, are we going to be fighting robots?" Iida asked.

"No, I'm taking you to the next step, Indoor Anti-Personal Training," All Might explained. "Most villains appear indoors, at least the smarter ones. You will be split into pairs, heroes vs villains."

That's when the class erupted into questions. "Will we get to choose our partners?" "How badly can we hurt the other team?" "Will we risk expulsion?" "How much time will we have?"

"I wasn't done talking," All Might said through his teeth. Clearly teaching was new to him because he pulled out a small piece of paper and began reading off it. "Here's the situation: villains are hiding a nuclear weapon somewhere in their hideout. It's up to the heroes to go in and either capture the villains or secure the weapon. The villains must either capture the heroes or protect the weapon until time is up. We will assign teams based on drawing lots."

After everyone drew, these were the teams:
A: Midoriya and Uraraka
B: Todoroki and Shoji
C: Yaoyorozu and Shichi
D: Bakugo and Iida
E: Aoyama and Ashido
F: Koda and Sato
G: Kaminari and Jiro
H: Asui and Tokoyami
I: Ojiro and Hagakure
J: Sero and Kirishima

"Now that you have your partners the first teams will be," All Might reached into two boxes and pulled out two letters, "teams A and D! Team A will be the heroes and D the villains."

Both Bakugo and Midoriya looked at each other. Bakugo looked angry while Midoriya looked almost scared. I could see his mind racing about how he was going to deal with not only Bakugo but also Iida. Uraraka tried to calm his nerves but I don't think he was listening. I lightly tapped him on the shoulder and gave him a smile, "good luck Midoriya, Uraraka. You too Iida!" The three of them were my friends so I didn't want to play sides.

"Thanks, Shichi," Midoriya said softly before All Might got our attentions again.

"The villain team will go in first, once the heroes enter, in five minutes the test will begin," All Might said before turning to Iida and Bakugo. "Remember not to hold back, however if things go too far I'll end it. The rest of us will be watching from the basement level via CCTV."

In the basement we waited for the test to start. I walked up to my partner, she was the same girl who thought Shota was lying yesterday. Her costume was very revealing, but I figured it must have been that way because of her quirk. "Hi, I'm Kanna Shichi," I waved to her.

"Momo Yaoyorozu, nice to meet you," she waved back to me. At her name I realized she was the other student who was let in based on recommendation. The other was Todoroki.

Before I could say anything All Might announced that the test had begun. Midoriya and Uraraka were sneaking their way through the building. Just as they were about to round a corner Bakugo jumped out and made an explosion almost catching Midoriya. Luckily he dodged it last minute and only his mask was burned.

"A sneak attack? That's low," One of the students, Kirishima, said.

"While it may be a low move, a sneak attack is perfectly valid." All Might instructed. He was right sneak attacks were the perfect way to catch your enemy off guard and take them down easily.

As Bakugo went to punch Midoriya, he grabbed Bakugo's arm, while pivoting his foot, and slung him over his shoulder. With the added momentum Bakugo hit the ground hard. Midoriya looked like he was yelling something but we couldn't hear. I was surprised by how thought out that move was, considering Bakugo seems like the kind of person who knows how to fight.

"How come we can't hear them?" I asked All Might. I was still timid so I kept my face towards the screen.

"I gave them micro-receivers so they can communicate with their partners and myself," All Might tapped his ear showing the small earbud. "I also gave them the floor plans and capture tape."

"The hero team is really at a disadvantage," Asui pointed out as Uraraka ran from Bakugo and Midoriya. I guess his plan was to stall Bakugo while she secured the weapon.

"It's like Aizawa said, Plus Ultra," All Might said.

Bakugo kicked at Midoriya who dodged, but in his hands was the capture tape. He was planning on wrapping Bakugo's leg. Bakugo saw through it and made an explosion knocking Midoriya back. He scrambled to get up and he took off running around the corner. He must have some sort of plan to deal with Bakugo's explosion.

"He's holding his own while not using his quirk," Kirishima said. On the screen Bakugo began to yell in anger. "That Bakugo sure is angry though."

Meanwhile, Uraraka managed to find Iida and the weapon, "he's stripped the room bare. That will be difficult for her quirk." I pointed up at the screen. Uraraka was hiding trying to find an opening when something made her laugh and Iida noticed her. "I don't think stealth is her strong point," I muttered.

Finally Bakugo rounded a corner and found Midoriya. He held up his gauntlet that glowed red for a moment. He brought his hand to the top of the grenade, where the pin would be. "Bakugo, dont! A blast like that could kill him!" All Might yelled trying to stop him.

Bakugo ignored All Might and the whole building shook from the force of that explosion. I didn't know how he managed to pull it off without injuring himself. I quickly turned to the screen fearing for Midoriya. Was my friend okay? Did Bakugo really kill him? My mind was racing just from the thought. I let out a breath when the smoke cleared and Midoriya was sitting on the ground next to the blasted wall. He managed to dodge that huge blast.

"Sir, shouldn't you be stopping this?" Kirishima asked All Might.

I looked at All Might's hand, it was shaking. I was sure from rage or an internal conflict. Finally All Might spoke, "Bakugo try another blast like that, I will end the match and you will fail. A move like that isn't smart indoors. You are supposed to be protecting your stronghold."

Bakugo gave a sharp nod, clearly he didn't agree with All Might. He charged at Midoriya who was ready to counter. Just before they collided Bakugo let off an explosion in front of Midoriya's face and jumped over him. As he cleared Midoriya's head he set another explosion to change course while blasting Midoriya in the back. Not only could Bakugo fight but he was a good strategist.

I wasn't the only one who picked up on this because Todoroki spoke, "he doesn't look it but he is actually very clever." When the class asked him what he meant Todoroki explained everything I figured out in my head.

Bakugo punched Midoriya in the side sending him scrambling towards the wall. Midoriya was looking around, most likely for an escape. I didn't blame him, Bakugo seemed to be a tough opponent and the way he was fighting it was a grudge match. Midoriya got back up and brought his fist back. He was going to use his quirk against Bakugo. My breath caught, if he did that then Bakugo could be killed and Midoriya would be seriously injured.

Just as All Might went to stop the fight, Midoriya changed his angle. Instead of punching straight he changed to an uppercut that sliced through the building. This gave Uraraka debris to attack Iida with. He couldn't move the weapon with as many projectiles that were coming for him and Uraraka was able to secure the weapon.

"The hero team wins!" All Might yelled just as Midoriya collapsed to the ground.

Not long after Bakugo joined the class. Defeat was written across his face, like he was still trying to process everything. It wasn't that he lost the test it felt like something more. Something personal between him and Midoriya. All Might went over where they went wrong and what they could have done better. Iida ended up the VIP of the event for his willingness to take on the role and how prepared he was overall. Midoriya ended up having to go to the nurse, he broke his arm and Bakugo burned the other one.

Up next was Todoroki and Shoji vs Hagakure and Ojiro. This match went way faster than the last. After Shoji used his arms to make ears and found where the villains were Todoroki froze the entire building. In the basement we were all freezing cold. Todoroki made his way through the building and touched the weapon securing it. After they won he used his left side and melted all the ice. He was so powerful and he knew it.

The next matches seemed to fly by fairly quickly as well. Finally my team was up last. Yaoyorozu and I had to play the villains. Our weapon was on the third floor, there were four floors all together. "Yaoyorozu, what is your quirk?" I asked stuffing the blueprints into a pocket on my hip.

"I can create anything as long as I know it's makeup. Also you can call me Momo," She smiled at me. "Your's is air right? Kaminari might be the hardest with his electricity. I can seal the door and you and I can wait it out."

"No, I have a better idea. You run defensive and I'll meet them on the second floor and take them both out," I put my goggles on and pulled my hood up. "My quirk isn't just air. I can use fire, water, and earth as well. If we both are here and they managed to break in there is a better chance they can get the weapon. Also you can call me Kanna."

"Can you handle them both on your own?" Momo asked. She seemed skeptical about my plan.

"Shota, I mean Mr. Aizawa always told me people would underestimate me. He told me to use that as a weapon itself. When your enemy underestimates you, it gives you a chance to make the first strike," I explained one of the many lessons Shota taught me. "Can you make an umbrella out of anything but metal?"

"An umbrella? Yea that should be easy enough," Momo said. Seconds later a white plastic umbrella came out of her chest. She handed it to me and I tested it's durability.

"Thank you, this should do nicely. If things don't go right I'll let you know and you can be prepared." I said as I left the room. I ran to the second floor where I looked up at the ceiling. Just as suspected there were sprinkler heads all down the hall. They were the wax ones I was hoping they would be.

"Begin!" All Might said letting us know the clock started.

Kaminari and Jiro would have to walk down this hall in order to get to the next floor. I didn't know everything Jiro's headphone jacks could do but if I had to guess, I bet she knew where we both were. So I tucked myself against the wall and waited. Sure enough a couple minutes later they were at the end of the hall. Once they got under the sprinklers I stepped out and sent a gust of air at them. The both braced themselves and I didn't wait to send my fire up at the sprinklers. The wax melted and water shot down around us. Before the water hit me I opened the umbrella keeping myself dry. I could have done this with my quirk but I wanted to conserve energy.

"I thought she had an air quirk!" Kaminari said about to raise his hand.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you," I said bending my knees, ready to sprint forward. "Unless you wanna shock your partner."

"Crap," Kaminari dropped his hand.

"Looks like we are doing hand to hand," Jiro said. Her earphone jacks extended slightly.

The sprinklers died down, tanks empty and that's when I ran. I used my water quirk to give me a dry path and I folded the umbrella up. When I got close to them I sent a burst of fire blocking their vision. Thanks Bakugo. I hooked the umbrella around Jiro's leg as I jumped up and over them. When my feet touched the ground she was on the ground and I kicked Kaminari in the stomach, slamming into the wall. Jiro tried to attack me with her earphone jack and I grabbed it with my hand. She was stunned by my reflexes and I used that to pin her down with water. I pulled out the capture tape and wrapped them both, claiming our victory.

"The villains win!" All Might announced.

"Are you guys okay?" I asked trying to help them up.

"You really know how to fight," Kaminari said rubbing his stomach.

"I'm sorry, All Might said not to hold back." I started to feel bad. I might have overdid it.

"It's all good, just a few bruises," Jiro stood up. Both of them were still soaking wet.

I pulled my goggles and hood down. "Here let me help dry you off." I used my water quirk to pull all the water off both of them.

"Your eyes turned blue," Kaminari said. "I thought you could only control air. Seeing water and fire was surprising."

I scratched my cheek, "yea I only use the ones I think will work for certain situations. Plus I can only control two at a time."

"Excellent work!" All Might said coming to lead us back to the basement. "Seems Aizawa has taught you a lot, young Shichi."

"Yea," I nodded quickly as Momo caught up to us. We all headed to the basement where the rest of the class was waiting. I was the last through the door and everyone looked at me with shocked expressions.

"So, shall we go over your results?" All Might asked. "The VIP of this round is Shichi, anyone know why?"

"Not only did she take down the heroes she didn't risk the weapon," Todoroki explained. "She made the first move making sure that Kaminari couldn't use his quirk. If he had made the first move the results might have been different. In addition she learned from watching the fight between Bakugo and Midoriya."

"That's correct!" All Might exclaimed. "However it didn't seem like she had a plan for if the heroes got passed her. It's important to always have a back up plan."

I felt my face start to flush, he was right. I was putting a lot of pressure on Momo had I failed. Luckily things went the way I thought they would. Afterwards we headed back up outside. I felt relieved that the class was over but I could still feel everyone's eyes on me.

"You all did great today! No serious injuries besides Midoriya. You can all head back to the classroom and change out of your costumes. I need to go over the results with Midoriya." All Might said as he ran off.

I put my costume back in my suitcase and put it on the wall. As I was walking to my desk to pack my things Todoroki came up to me, "All Might told us you are Aizawa's kid."

"Oh," I blinked rapidly caught off guard by his comment. "If you are wondering, it's true."

"Aren't you worried about what people will say?" Todoroki raised an eyebrow at me.

"Not really," I shrugged. "People can think what they want. It won't change anything."

"Fair enough," Todoroki laughed slightly. "You are pretty skilled at fighting."

"Just practice. You are pretty skilled yourself," I said admiring how he froze the whole building.

"Shichi!" Kirishima came up to me, "you are so cool!"

"T-thanks," I began to stammer as more people came up to me.

"Hey Snowflake," Bakugo stood up and glared at me. "Don't be taking my moves anymore."

"You can't tell her that!" Kirishima said trying to defend me.

"Whatever, I'm out of here," Bakugo said grabbing his stuff and leaving the classroom.

Not long after Midoriya came back. One of his arms was in a sling, the other seemed to be fine. With him coming in the attention was drawn from me to him and I let out a sigh of relief. I grabbed my bag and got ready to leave. I needed to speak with All Might. Just before I left Midoriya ran out trying to find Bakugo.

I hoped they could fix whatever was between them but it wasn't my place to get involved. I walked to the teachers office and knocked on the door. Mic opened it and I asked about All Might. Mic told me he wasn't there but he saw him heading to the entrance. I gave Mic a quick thanks and I ran off.

When I got outside I saw All Might talking to Midoriya. It seemed like their conversation was wrapping up so I carefully walked up. "Shichi!" Midoriya said like I surprised him.

"I'm sorry to interrupt but All Might I really need to talk to you!" I bit the inside of my cheek trying to find the right words. "Seven years ago you saved my life and I never got to thank you! You gave me a new life and a home with Shota and I thank you." I bowed my head and tears started to fall from my eyes. Why was I crying?

"That's what heroes do," All Might patted my head. "You've grown up a lot since that day. I'm sure you will grow even more and become a true hero."

"Thank you All Might," I sniffled trying to wipe my tears. I finally got to give my thanks to him, to the hero who saved my life.
