"Fear not students, for I am here!" All Might stood at the top of the stairs. He had come to save us. The warp villain said a student managed to escape, my best guess was Iida. He somehow managed to get passed the villains and find All Might.

"Looks like our game is getting a continue," Shigaraki grinned.

The villains Shota hadn't taken out hesitated upon seeing All Might. They were clearly afraid of him. Faster than I could see, All Might descended the stairs while taking out the remaining villains. He went straight to Shota's side and rested a hand on his back.

"I'm sorry I couldn't come sooner, Aizawa." All Might said as he picked Shota up. He looked to Midoriya, Tsu, and I. Before I could even process what happened we were out of the water, next to All Might. "You three take Aizawa, he doesn't have long."

Shota was placed carefully on the ground. His arms shattered, face bleeding. My heart was pounding in my ears and my breathing picked up even more. He was laying on his back and I carefully cradled his head in my arms. Blood was running down his cheeks and onto my gloves. Tears began to fall from my eyes. If Shota died I would be alone. I needed him more than anything else in the world.

Tsu helped me get Shota on Midoriya's back. My hands were still trembling and I couldn't stop my tears. When we shifted him he groaned in pain before whispering, "Kanna." Once he was still he passed back out. I had to pull myself together so I wiped my tears, careful not to get any blood on my face.

"You're fast, but not as fast as I expected," Shigaraki said. "All Might really has weakened."

"All Might! One for- I mean I smashed that bird guy but nothing happened!" Midoriya explained.

"Young Midoriya don't worry," All Might smiled at him giving him a thumbs up. "Hurry and get Aizawa out of here."

"All Might, don't let the hand guy touch you," I said as we turned to leave.

"Thanks for the tips kids," All Might said turning to face Shigaraki and Nomu. He ran forward to attack, "Carolina Smash!" He hit Nomu directly but he didn't suffer any damage.

"Come on let's hurry," Tsu said. We nodded and began to carry Shota to where the others were. "Kanna are you going to be okay?" She asked me.

"I'm just really worried about Shota," I shook my head looking down at my hands. They were still red from his blood.

Suddenly an explosion from where All Might was fighting made us turn around. When the smoke cleared All Might was holding Nomu, but there was a warp gate. It seemed he tried to suplex Nomu into the ground but the warp villain stopped him. Nomu sliced All Might in the side with his claws causing him to spit blood.

"All Might," Midoriya said with wide eyes. "Tsu, can you take Mr. Aizawa for me?"

"Sure," Tsu said. Midoriya and I helped shift Shota over to her. "What are you going to do?"

"I have to help him," Midoriya said with a determined look. His hands were shaking but he gave a short nod before taking off.

"Midoriya!" I called to him. First Shota was injured, All Might stabbed, and now my closest friend was running to face them. No I wouldn't let him go alone, I planned to get there before Midoriya. "Tsu take Shota!"

"Kanna wait!" Tsu yelled trying to stop me. "Where are you going?!"

"I'm going to help him and his bone breaking quirk!" I said in frustration. I activated my air quirk pushing myself faster, my eyes set on Shigaraki. It was his fault Shota was dying. His fault that All Might was injured. It was all his fault.

I sprinted passed Midoriya catching him by surprise. I leaped over All Might and went straight for Shigaraki, changing from air to fire. I brought my leg down with fire trailing off it, when I kicked him he dodged. He was so fast and it made me even more mad. He reached out to grab me and I knocked his hand away with the back of my forearm. I sent a burst of fire at him yet he evaded my attack again.

"OUT OF THE WAY DEKU!" Bakugo yelled from behind me, attacking the warp villain.

I kicked at Shigaraki again with fire. He was still too quick and dodged. As I jumped back Kirishima jumped over me and attacked. Again the villain dodged. This was beginning to piss me off. I laced both arms with fire and extended out trying to close the gap. I glanced down at All Might who was trying to free himself from Nomu, who was covered in ice. Todoroki was behind me and I could hear Bakugo taunting the warp villain.

"Are your eyes red from anger?" Shigaraki asked as he reached out to grab my arm. "Will you kill me, hero?"

I let my fire rise up to stop him, "I'm going to make you suffer for what you did to him!" I yelled my flames shooting higer.

"Do you mean All Might?" Shigaraki grinned. "No you mean Eraserhead, don't worry you will be with him soon."

I yelled in rage just as All Might broke free from Nomu, "Shichi get back!" All Might ordered. I gritted my teeth and dodged another attack, jumping back to where Kirishima was. Todoroki, Kirishima, and Midoriya were staring at me in shock.

"Scum like you could never kill the symbol of peace," Todoroki sneered. I glanced at him and let my flames fade, my eyes shifting from red back to grey.

"While I was dealing with that fire girl you managed to pin our escape," Shigaraki said. He looked at Bakugo with annoyance. "How could you be bested by a child Kurogiri?"

"I figured out your secret, you dumb villain." Bakugo said, his hand still smoking. "Your mist hides your real body, otherwise why would you be wearing armor?" Kurogiri moved slightly and Bakugo made three small explosions, "go ahead try and move, I dare you."

"Not very hero like, Bakugo," Kirishima smirked. Bakugo wasn't exactly kind with his enemies.

"What a pain, Nomu take out the explosion brat." Shigaraki commanded. Nomu climbed out of the warp gate, somehow he was able to move even covered in ice. His arm and leg fell off and he struggled against the ground for a moment before his limbs began to grow back.

"I thought his quirk was shock absorption!" All Might exclaimed.

"I never said that was his only quirk," Shigaraki laughed. "He also has hyper regeneration. Just think of him this way, he's a superpowered punching bag that can handle anything you can throw."

Nomu's limbs completely healed and he set his sights on Bakugo. He sprinted forward and Midoriya yelled, "Kacchan!"

"What the?" Bakugo blinked, somehow he was suddenly next to us.

"Wow you dodged that?!" Midoriya blinked in surprise.

"Shut up, no I didn't!" Bakugo snapped.

"Then how?" Midoriya asked before Todoroki and I pointed to where Bakugo was. The smoke cleared revealing All Might.

"You took the hit to save the kid?" Shigaraki almost laughed. "Anything to save a comrade right? That plain boy tried to kill me with a maxed out smash and the flame girl tried to roast me alive. Both of them came at me with everything they had. But violence in the name of saving others is admirable right? Well that pisses me off. Both heroes and villains thrive on violence yet we are still separated by notions of good and evil. You are just a tool for violence, your so called symbol of peace is a lie meant to keep us down. That's why we want to kill you."

"You liar," All Might said. "Idealistic criminals have a different look in their eyes. You are doing this because you like it."

"Heh, I guess you found me out." Shigaraki tilted his head. This is what true evil looked like. He didn't have any real goal except to kill All Might just for the sake of killing him.

"It's six against three," Todoroki said ready to fight.

"No, you all stay back!" All Might said holding a hand out.

"We can help!" I protested, "not to mention you are injured." His side was stained with blood from where Nomu pierced him.

"Things could have gone a lot worse if I hadn't stepped in," Todoroki said cooly. We all just wanted to help him.

"And I thank you for that," All Might said giving him a smile. "But, have no fear, sit back and watch a pro work."

"Nomu, Kurogiri kill the symbol of peace," Shigaraki commanded. "I'll deal with the children."

"Looks like we are in for a fight," Kirishima said hardening his arms into sharp weapons.

In an instant both my arms were covered in flames, ready to take on the villain who started sprinting towards us. We didn't have to beat him, only hold him off until the other pros showed up. We could do this, the five of us together. Just as Shigaraki reached out to us All Might clashed fists with Nomu. The wind from their attack was enough to put out my flames and we all stopped to watch in awe.

"I told you before, his quirk is shock absorption," Shigaraki laughed as if he knew All Might would lose.

"You said absorption not nullification," All Might said as he made a head on assault. "That means there's a limit to what he can take."

As he attacked more wind came at us knocking Shigaraki away. We were all close to being blown away as well. I jumped in front of the others and held my hands out. "Stay behind me!" I shouted as I activated my air quirk. I would make an air shield to protect us from the force of All Might's blows.

"Woah Shichi," Kirishima gasped as I controlled the airflow around us. I felt myself sliding backwards so I called upon the earth to anchor my feet.

"Nomu was made to take your attacks at 100%!" Shigaraki said bracing himself.

"Then I'll just have to go beyond that!" All Might said pushing himself further. "A hero should be prepared to smash through any trouble. Tell me do you know the meaning behind our school motto?" I wasn't sure if he was talking to us or the villains. "To go beyond Plus Ultra!"

Nomu was being pushed back by All Might. He couldn't handle his smashes anymore and he couldn't heal fast enough. All Might really was number one. This was what a pro looked like, the symbol of peace. All Might gave another huge smash sending Nomu flying out of the USJ. The whole building was shaking just from the force of his blow and it took everything I had to maintain the shield. Smoke surrounded All Might and he was breathing heavy but he did it. Somehow he beat that monster that was made to kill him.

"I really have slowed down," All Might let out a laugh. "Back in my younger days it would have only taken five, today it took over 300 mighty blows. What do you say we finish this?"

I dropped my shield and the rocks around my ankles. I was out of breath and I staggered back a step before Kirishima grabbed my elbow supporting me. "Thanks," I said breathlessly.

"No problem, we would have been blown away if it weren't for you." Kirishima smirked at me.

"He cheated," Shigaraki said scratching his neck. "This isn't how it was supposed to go. All Might hasn't weakened at all, we are completely outmatched." He was becoming more and more agitated in his defeat.

"Well come on then," All Might challenged him again.

Midoriya took a step forward but Todoroki stopped him, "we need to hang back for now."

"How did this happen?" Shigaraki was still scratching his neck. "Father, I failed."

"Tomura Shigaraki," Kurogiri was next to him within seconds. "It seems that Nomu did do damage to All Might. Also look, the kids are hesitating and the one who looks like the most trouble is out of stamina. Reinforcements are bound to arrive soon but, together you and I can end All Might."

"You're right, the final boss is right here in front of us. Let's end this game." Shigaraki nodded bringing his attention to All Might.

"Come on, let's take care of the rest of the villains that are starting to wake," Todoroki said turning his back. "All Might can handle those two."

"Shichi, can you walk?" Kirishima asked, he was still holding on to me and I felt dizzy.

"Yea I'll be okay." I nodded trying to clear my head. I looked over at Midoriya who began muttering something about All Might. "Midoriya?" I asked taking a step towards him, I staggered again and Kirishima had to support me.

Midoriya looked at me, concern and worry was written across his face. Before I could reach out to stop him he leapt forward towards Shigaraki. His legs broke instantly and he prepared a smash with right arm. He was planning on saving All Might, but I didn't know why. Sure All Might looked a little roughed up but he could handle those two villains right?

"GET AWAY FROM ALL MIGHT!" Midoriya yelled as he flew through the air.

"You insolent," Kurogiri said as he made a warp gate. Shigaraki's hand appeared from it reaching out to grab Midoriya. With his legs broken he couldn't dodge this, he would be disintegrated.

"Midoriya!" I yelled. I was too weak to save him and the others were still stunned at what just happened. I was going to lose my friend.

Suddenly a bullet came out of nowhere and shot Shigaraki in the hand. I snapped my head towards the entrance and saw Snipe with the other teachers, reinforcements had arrived. Snipe shot at Shigaraki a couple more times making him recoil away from Midoriya who was now on the ground.

"Kurogiri!" Shigaraki yelled holding his now bleeding hand. The warp villain went to attack Snipe and the others but Thirteen began sucking him up with his black hole. Kurogiri came back to where we were in defeat. He made a new portal in which they could escape and Shigaraki turned his head towards me and the others. "I promise next time we see All Might he will die." The look in his eye said that he would do anything to make that happen. With that promise they both vanished back to whatever hole they crawled out of.

We let out a sigh of relief that it was finally over. I pulled away from Kirishima, I had to get back to Shota. I began to run and made it about three strides before I almost collapsed. This time it was Todoroki who held me steady. As Kirishima ran to check on Midoriya Cementoss put up a wall between them.

"We will deal with the injured, you four get back to the others," Cementoss instructed us and we nodded.

"I have to get to Shota, he's really injured." I said softly as Todoroki helped me up the stairs.

Once we got to the top Present Mic came over and took my arm, "I'll take her from here."

"Mic, where is Shota?" I asked still trying to catch my breath.

"Take it easy, he's on his way to the hospital now," Mic said his face was solemn. "Once we get back to the school I'll take you to him but you look like you could use some rest."

"I need to go to him now," I said urgently. I didn't want to go back to the school and I didn't care how tired I was. What mattered most right now was him.

"Kanna, he's going into surgery. Both of his arms were shattered and his face suffered the most damage. They aren't sure if he will have vision loss or not." Mic explained as he led me onto the bus. The other teachers were still gathering the rest of the class.

"He might go blind?" I swallowed hard. "But he's going to be okay right?"

"I'm not sure," Mic shook his head. My heart felt like it was shattering, "but he hasn't suffered any brain damage." Mic said trying to reassure me. He put a hand on my back and held me close as I began to cry. I didn't care that people were staring at me as they got on the bus. Mic held me all the way back to the school.

I went inside and put away my costume. Uraraka and Iida tried to talk to me but I ignored them. My mind was blank as I walked down the hall to where Mic was waiting for me. The trip to the hospital was a quiet one and when we got there the nurse led Mic and I to Shota's room.

"He just got out of surgery but he's still recovering," The nurse said as she opened the door for us.

"Shota?" I called out quietly. Both his arms were bandaged and his entire face was wrapped. He was sleeping so I pulled a chair next to his bedside and sat with him. I would be here when he woke no matter what. Mic tried to get me to go home or to go to a friends house but I refused.

After a while Mic left, he told me to call him when I was ready to go home. I nodded and laid my head on the bed, trying to get a small amount of rest. I must have dozed off because I was awoken by his voice. "Kanna why don't you go home."

I sat up quickly and looked at him. He was staring at me, somehow they managed to save his vision. "Shota." I barely spoke his name before the tears started pouring from my eyes.

"Hey now don't cry," Shota said trying to make me feel better.

"I thought you were gonna die," I said in between breaths.

"It'll take more than that to kill me," Shota laughed. He was trying to put on a brave face for me. Everything he did was to protect me and I couldn't even do the same for him. Here he was injured because I was too weak to fight against Nomu. "Kanna, you should go home or to a friends house. I'm sure they will let me go home soon."

"I don't wanna leave you," I said gripping the sheets tighter.

Shota sighed, "you are too stubborn you know that?"

"I'm sorry," I bit my lip. "I wish I could have done more for you."

"You are still just a kid," Shota said. He wasn't going to put any blame on me or anyone else except those villains who attacked. After I told him everything that happened he paused for a moment trying to process. "So you used your earth quirk?"

"Yea, Midoriya came up with the plan and it somehow worked." I said picking at my nails. "I thought I was going to mess up but Midoriya inspired me and it was our only chance to get to you."

"I see," Shota said. "Well I'm proud of you. While it was reckless to take on those villains I'm proud by how far you've come."

I opened my mouth to say something but I couldn't find the words. Shortly after the doctors came in and let Shota come home. Once we were home he went straight to bed to sleep and I felt the exhaustion from the day creeping over me. I laid down on my bed and pulled out my phone, I had six unread messages. Before I could look at them I fell asleep.

They canceled classes the next day and I continued to help Shota. His vision was fine but his arms and face were still healing. He was going to be in bandages for awhile. When he told me that he was going to resume teaching tomorrow I protested. He needed his rest but he refused, saying his well being didn't matter. Also if he could walk, talk, and see he had a duty to continue teaching. I eventually gave in and accepted his decision.

When class resumed I walked to my seat and quietly sat down. Todoroki looked over at me like he wanted to say something but in the end he didn't. Shota walked into class and everyone seemed relieved that he was somewhat alright. He didn't hesitate to get right down to business.

"You all saw what a villain attack looks like," Shota said. "While you have faced that challenge and survived, your fight is far from over."

The class began murrmering, "what does he mean?" "What sort of challenge?" "I have a bad feeling."

Shota quieted them down, "the UA sports festival is fast approaching and it's time to prepare." The class seemed stunned that it was something ordinary. This would be our best chance to shine, to really show people what we've got. I was going to give it everything I had!
