You're gonna see a lot of clone OCs in this.

Hehehe

Tw: Violence, alcohol, drugging.

Wolffe had a glass of water in his hand that he was staring into.

"You good?" Sinker asked as he leaned over the table to slap Boost.

"Yes." Wolffe didn't even lecture Sinker. He was too busy staring into his drink.

"You don't seem good," Warthog remarked, taking a sip of his beer. "You hung up on someone?"

"No, he's upset that he lost the girl he was supposed to be guarding," Comet told him.

"We all were supposed to guard her!" Wolffe angrily said. "Maybe this wouldn't have happened if you were all there!"

"Hush." Sinker put his hand on Wolffe's face. "Drink your water."

Wolffe removed Sinker's hand and glared at him. "Don't touch me."

Sinker rolled his eyes. "Don't forget, men, he's making us run laps tomorrow."

"That's future me's problem." Boost held his drink in the air before chugging the rest.

Wolffe's attention was dragged away to people sitting in the table next to theirs. They had leaned in close and were talking in quiet voices.

"So it's true?" one of them asked.

"Yeah," the second replied, nodding eagerly. "Nicky did it."

Wolffe cocked his head, drinking from his glass as he listened.

"Never thought his stupid plan would work," the first one said. "Are we sure it's her?"

"Who else would it be? Her name's Karina, and what are the chances someone who looks like her with the same name would show up?"

A smile slowly grew on Wolffe's face as he put his glass down roughly, watching as they walked out the door.

"G-Guys!" Boost pointed at Wolffe's face. "It's happening!"

Warthog frowned. "Is he having a stroke?"

"Someone call a medic!" Sinker hissed.

"Don't call a medic." Wolffe stood, glowering at them all. "I'll be back soon. Maybe."

"Where are you going?" Comet questioned.

"To deal with something." Wolffe grabbed his helmet. "If I'm not back before sunset you better be back at the ship, or I'll make sure you can't leave the ship for at least a month."

He turned without waiting for their response and followed the people who he had listened to. They went out down a path that led to the edge of the town, and Wolffe trailed after them, ducking behind walls so they wouldn't see him.

They looked around warily before entering the last building on the edge of the town. He waited a minute before also slipping inside.

Three people's heads immediately snapped up, and one of them gave the others a questioning look.

"Who're you?"

Wolffe didn't answer, instead he raised his blaster. "I'm going to give you five minutes to bring her here. If she's not here by then, you don't want to know what I'll do to you."

"What if she's six minutes away?" the one on the left cheekily asked.

"Did I ask if you had any questions?" Wolffe demanded. "No. So shut the kriff up."

"Sir?" another one nervously spoke up. "She's here already."

Wolffe tensed. "Where is she?" They all looked down at the floor. He sighed and motioned to the stairs with his weapon. "Move."

They marched down the stairs, leading him to the basement. Wolffe didn't flinch as a dozen blasters were turned on him at the bottom of the steps.

"This is the rebellion," a man with freckles littering his face said. "Have you come to join us, or shut us down?"

"Neither. I'm here for Lady Karina." Wolffe's voice was as steady as his blaster. "Where is she?"

The man smiled. "I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about, so why don't you-"

"Why don't you tell me where she is before I lose my patience. I'm very close already."

"I'm Nicky. Tell me your name, friend," Nicky suggested, gesturing for the rebels to put their weapons down.

"Alright, friend," Wolffe sarcastically said. "I'm Commander Wolffe. For every minute it takes until I see her, I will shoot someone."

"I really don't think you want to-"

Wolffe shot one of the people who brought him in.

Nicky gritted his teeth. "Alright, Commander. If you do try at again I'll have to-"

Wolffe shot someone else.

"We might have to shoot you," Nicky told him, "so please stop before things go too far."

Wolffe shot yet another person. "I dare you to attack. It could possibly bring Republic forces here to investigate, which would make your little rebellion harder."

Nicky nodded his head to someone, who left. "They'll bring her here, but there's something you should probably know."

"What?" Wolffe gruffly asked.

"I drugged her to bring her here, and she was oddly resilient to it," Nicky casually said, leaning against the wall. "Do you know what that means?"

Wolffe pointed his blaster at someone else. "No, but if this story takes too long I might lose my patience."

"I tested her for anything that might be in her system, and it came back positive. Not only was what I gave her in the results, but something else," Nicky revealed. "So when I dug a little further, I discovered that whatever it was chases dizziness in low doses."

Something in his chest tightened. "So you're saying someone's been drugging her?"

"I'm saying that her parents might have reasons for not letting her leave, and the dizziness could've made her feel like she couldn't leave the safety of her home." Nicky shrugged, examining his fingernails. "I'm saying that if your job is to protect her from danger, and her parents are the danger, we might share some common goals."

Karina was dragged out before he could say anything as a response, unconscious. Her head lolled to the side as she was dumped at Wolffe's feet.

"I'm leaving in a week, so as long as you don't do anything until then, we don't have a problem," Wolffe said, holstering his blaster. "But we never had this talk. Understand?"

Nicky grinned. "You hate her parents too?"

Wolffe picked Karina up. "I don't know what you're talking about, because we never met, and I found her in the woods."

"Got it." Nicky beamed at him.

"But if this," Wolffe motioned to Karina's limpness, "is permanent, I will be back."

"She'll be fine in an hour or two," Nicky assured him.

"Good." Wolffe shot him one last dirty look.

"Who's that?" Sinker curiously asked as Wolfe carried some random woman inside. "Oh no, did you finally snap? Did you kidnap someone? Is that why you left the bar?"

"This is Lady Karina," Wolffe said, rolling his eyes. "Remember her?"

Sinker frowned. "The one that went missing?"

Wolffe nodded. "Where's the general?"

Sinker shrugged and stepped closer to poke Karina's face. "I haven't seen him."

"Don't poke her!" Wolffe lectured. "How would you feel if some strange man touched you while you were sleeping?"

Sinker grinned. "Is he handsome?"

Wolffe lifted his gaze and muttered something in frustration. "I'm going to go find the general and tell him something important. Contact her parents and tell them we found her."

"Yes, sir." Sinker hurried off as Wolffe went in search of Plo Koon.

He eventually found the Jedi in his office, seated at his desk. Wolffe cleared his throat to announce his presence, causing Plo Koon to glance up.

"Ah, you found her! I knew you could," Plo Koon proudly said. His smile faded. "I sense something troubling you, other than the fact she's asleep."

"I think her parents are poisoning her," Wolffe blurted out, trusting his general with the sensitive information.

Plo Koon gripped his chin thoughtfully. "Come, child. We'll discuss this in the medical bay."

Wolffe trailed behind him until they reached their destination. Karina was put in the medic's care, and Plo Koon guided Wolffe away from prying ears.

"What makes you think this?"

"Her captor said that he had tested her and found evidence of it in her system. I know I should have no reason to trust him but..." Wolffe grimaced as he realized how flimsy his argument was.

"Trust your instincts," Plo Koon said. "Have you witnessed anything that might prove this?"

Wolffe glanced over at her before furrowing his brow. "She got sick. She said it was normal for her. She was dizzy and kept falling. She mentioned how her parents said she didn't need to see a doctor. I just thought it was odd at the time."

"That is certainly out of the usual," Plo Koon agreed, "but not enough for an accusation."

"Can we do any testing here?" Wolffe called out to the medic, whose chosen name was Stunner. "Something besides just a basic scan?"

"What kind, sir?"

"Poison or drugs," Wolffe told him, keeping his tone light. "I want to make sure her kidnappers didn't give her anything deadly."

"Of course," Stunner answered. "I'll get right to it."

"Would her parents really do something as terrible as poisoning their own child?" Plo Koon questioned, sounding distraught.

"Possibly. They've done a lot of things parents normally wouldn't do," Wolffe replied, using his limited knowledge on civilians. "I wouldn't be surprised."

"Results are in," Stunner interrupted. He seemed puzzled by it. "It's weird."

"How so?" Plo Koon prompted.

"It's as if it's been in her system a while. It's nearly dissipated, and from what I know of this variant, it would take a month or so to be like this." Stunner's eyes flicked over the readings again. "I might have to take a blood sample."

"Sir!" Sinker yelled as he sprinted in. "Commander!"

"What?" Wolffe watched Sinker place his hands on his knees as he desperately sucked in air. He must've been running for a while to be like that.

"Her parents have accused the Republic of stealing her!" Sinker reported, voice filled with alarm. "And since they've allied with the Separatists, they're attacking! Droid forces are on their way!"

"Wake her up!" Wolffe ordered Stunner. He pulled his vambrace up to his mouth, activating his comm. "This is CC-3636 to bridge. Prep the engines and get ready to leave."

"What are we doing?" Sinker asked.

"We don't have the numbers to take on a battalion of droids," Wolffe said, thinking back to the event that caused them to dye their armour grey. "We need to get out of here before they arrive."

"We're just going to leave these civilians?" Sinker exclaimed.

"We can't defend them! They've allied against us and they clearly don't want us!" Wolffe began to sprint out of the room before pausing and looking to the general in the room. "Permission to evacuate?"

"Permission granted. I will stay with her and ask her some questions when she wakes," Plo Koon told him, gesturing to Karina. "I will take care of returning her before we leave."

Wolffe bobbed his head before jogging away, Sinker chasing after him. He reached the bridge and gave orders, remaining calm whilst doing so. All clones that had been away from the cruiser were urgently called back.

When he got the message that Karina had been taken care of, he gave the order to leave the planet.

"Head to our next assignment," Wolffe instructed as they traveled through hyperspace. "We're going to Kamino."

"Commander."

Wolffe turned around tiredly, pinching his brow together. "General?"

Plo Koon's voice had a wisp of amusement as he said, "She decided to stay with us."

"Why?" Wolffe questioned. "What does she have to offer?"

"I'm going to be a mechanic." Karina leaned heavily against Plo Koon, her arm looped through his. "I'll learn quickly, I promise!"

"I'm sure you will, child," Plo Koon gently said. "Now go get some rest. You can learn from our more experienced mechanics tomorrow."

She nodded. "Thank you, General." Karina turned her gaze to Wolffe. "And thank you, Commander." She turned around and slowly walked away, before a passing trooper offered to help her. She graciously accepted and leaned on him as they walked.

"Sir, why did you let her join? She has no mechanic skills," Wolffe bluntly said. "If anything, she'll weigh us down."

"She said she'll learn fast," Plo Koon reminded him.

"Still..." Wolffe hesitantly said.

"I sense something in her," Plo Koon said, his tone turning serious.

"Is she Force sensitive?" Wolffe asked in surprise.

"No. I just have a good feeling about her." Plo Koon put a hand on Wolffe's shoulder. "Do you?"

"I-No? I can't use the Force, sir."

"This doesn't have to do with the Force." Plo Koon sighed. "This has to do with a hunch."

"I'm not sure I understand," Wolffe admitted.

Plo Koon mulled it over for a moment. "Perhaps the Force has a little to do with it. But don't worry, child, I'm sure your brothers will knock some sense into your head. That I can sense."

Wolffe suddenly had a sense of dread. "Great."

I'm planning on playing Republic Commando soon and I'm very excited.

I haven't even played the game and I already have a favourite lol.

I bet you can't guess.
