Chapter 5- Arazia (finally)

Shadows move around in my blurry vision. Color seems to have been sapped from this world. Only a white background is visible, with black blurs moving around. They never approach me, just pass by to somewhere else, never stopping to save the girl all tied up. I didn't know how I was being held in place, but I couldn't move. My body felt numb, and I could only feel a dull, constant pain inside of me. I felt... anything but alive.

I spend my time here, staring off into the abyss of nothing that my eyes will not allow me to see past, or closing my eyes as I pass out from exhaustion. I don't know how I survive, how I eat or drink, how much time I have spent here, but all I know is that I was knocked out, and when I woke up, I could not feel, see, touch, sense anything. If it hadn't been for those moving shadows, I would have thought that I was nothing, nothing but particles in the oblivion of the sky. Skye. My friend. My best friend. And Archer. My funny friend. And Axe. My friend. My good friend. My boyfrie- No. No. Traitor. Betrayer. Worthless. I was not nothing, but he was.

He had been so sweet and wonderful, and for a brief time, I thought I loved him. Not only had it been a stupid teenager fantasy, but he had lied. He had been nothing but a lowesome, disgusting liar. Had Archer been the same? Was Skye alright?

Shuffle shuffle. I hear movement, and my eyes flutter open to see a large silhouette right in front of me. I try to open my mouth, to scream and yell and cry, but I couldn't. My tongue thrashed inside my forced-closed mouth- Wait. I felt my tongue. I felt the inside of my mouth, my teeth, my gums, I felt something. The silhouette moved around in front of me, and then the top of my head felt cold. The feeling spread down my forehead and through my hair. The substance, whatever it was, had been keeping me alive but unaware. The gelatin-like thing fell past my eyebrows and down to my nose. I opened my eyes cautiously. Light streamed through the glass of the container I was in. A gurgling sound could be heard, and I looked down to see the substance making its way out. Once my eyes finally fully adjusted to the sudden light, my eyes opened fully. Staring back at me, through the glass, was Axe.
