"I-I don't know," Marina answered, her cheeks red with embarrassment as she ran away in the opposite direction.

Marina entered her room, her cheeks burning with embarrassment. Nathan clearly remembered everything that happened yesterday.

"What happened?" Ally, who were sitting on the armchairs, asked in unison, on seeing Marina's blushing face.

"Let me guess, you kissed-"

"Shut up," Belle and Marina shouted together at Anne.

"You did not even hear me out!!" Anne huffed, crossing her arms across her chest.

"No one wants to hear your dirty thoughts," Belle commented while getting up from the armchair.

"How are you two?"

"What happened to us? We are perfectly fine," The twins replied in unison.

"I am not blind, I saw Anne wince when her head collided with the back of the armchair."

"You have a misund-" Anne stopped midway when Marina removed her hood.

"Oh- really? Then care to explain why your forehead is bandaged?" Marina asked while removing Belle's hood, only to reveal a bandaged forehead.

"Someone hit us with some metal, probably sword handle when we were following Charlotte or Madeline."

"Her real name is Madeline and because of that hit we fainted and that's why we weren't able to save you or even help you," Belle replied completing Anne's sentence.

"We are really really sorry Marines," The twins apologized while crouching down in front of Marina, their heads down in shame.

"You two did help me by informing Nathan and asking him to come back. So, shut up, I am just glad you both are fine," Marina said while hugging Ally.

Brialle too jumped in for the group hug, making the three of them fall on the ground.

"Brialle," The three of them said together as Brialle licked their faces, chance by chance.

"Woof - woof."

~In Queen Rosalind's Room~

"How dare he talk to me like that? How dare he make me, Queen Rosalind, apologize!!" Queen Rosalind screamed while throwing her things here and there in anger.

"Because you deserved it," Someone said, barging through the door.

"How dare you come in without kn-" Queen Rosalind stops midway when she realizes that the person is her own blood and flesh - Alfredo.

"Fred, I am sorry, I did not-"

"It is Prince Alfredo for you, woman," Alfredo said rudely  cutting off his mother midway.

"Yes, I know. So, how come you are here?"

"I don't need permission to go anywhere, especially of a woman. Besides this, it is my castle, I can go wherever the hell I want to."

"I know son, this kingdom, this palace, everything is yours," Queen Rosalind replied proudly.

"So, why did you do it?"

"Do what?"

"Drug Marina," Alfredo answered angrily.

"Why do you care about that little wi-"

"Take her name with respect," Alfredo shouted at Queen Rosalind while gripping her elbow tightly.

"I-I am sorry. But, why do you care about her?" Queen Rosalind asked while trying to wiggle out of Alfredo's iron grip.

"That's none of your fucking business!!"

"So, why did you do it?" Alfredo asked impatiently, tightening his grip.

Queen Rosalind winced, "Leave me...please."

Alfredo loosened his grip on hearing her pleas.

"I did that because she insulted me by returning the dress I gave her and because..."

"Because?"

"Because of her, Nathan insulted you and married her."

"Whatever happens between me and Nathanial is none of your damn business? Got it?" Alfredo asked, tightening his grip again.

"Ye-Yes."

"He is my rival, but, I know, only I will be the king and true Marina did insult me by refusing me that day. But, that should not concern you because it is my life. So, don't you dare try to harm her again or I will personally kill you," Alfredo said while giving a death glare to Queen Rosalind.

"Ye-Yes."

"Good," Alfredo replied, leaving his mother's arm. Satisfied to see a blue bruise, he decides to leave, but Queen Rosalind's words stop him.

"I don't get it, why are you protecting someone who can never be yours. I hope you do know that Marina belongs to Nathan, she is his wife. So, why do you still care?"

"I know what is mine and soon Marina will be mine. Only I have the right to insult her, punish her and abuse her or even kill her. So, don't you worry about her or me, mother," Alfredo answered while smirking at Queen Rosalind as he leaves her alone.

Queen Rosalind stared at her room, then at her bruise. All of a sudden, she started laughing hysterically.

"HaHaHa...Marina, Alfredo has set his eyes on you. Now, who will save you dear? I know Alfredo, till the time he can't get what he wants, he never stops and once he get's what he wants, he makes sure to get paid for all his efforts. Poor Princess Marina, now only a miracle can save you from Alfredo's clutches," Queen Rosalind says while smirking.
