( Lights come on in a dimly lit college hallway next to Professor Reginald Walker's office. Jose is sweeping, whistling lightly, when Reginald walks out of his office , a door just down the hall from where Jose is sweeping. )

REGINALD: (closes door) I'm done for the day, Jose, have a good evening.

(Jose stares, Reginald nods and leaves. Jose continues to sweep, a few seconds pass)

JANET: (comes skidding) Oh, Hello! I'm Janet Gibson! Do you have a key? I left something in my professor's office!

JOSE: ( asks suspiciously) What did you leave?

JANET: Just my Literature textbook, got an important test coming up though! So I need it to study.

JOSE: I thought Professor Walker taught math? Why would your Literature textbook be in there?

JANET: Oh, well I went to go speak with him after class, I had all my textbooks with me.

JOSE: Well, you need permission from Bill, or Officer Fish to you, student.

JANET: Uhm, okay, where can this, Bill, be found?

JOSE: (shakes fists aggressively) WHAT IN TARNATION DID YOU JUST CALL HIM?

JANET: You can't seriously expect me to use a name like 'Officer Fish'

JOSE: YOU BEST RESPECT HIM OR I'LL MAKE YOU-- ( shaking fist even more aggressively than before)

BILL: Aye! What are you calling me?! I have a degree in kung fu, ya clown.

JANET: Gosh! I'm sorry ok? Can you just let me get my textbook?!

BILL: ( mutters under breath ) What's a textbook?

JOSE: No! I just waxed the floors in there!

BILL: (Under breath) You did?

( Bill shoves Janet out the door. Jose enters Reginald's office, and flicks on light)

JOSE: (mumbling to himself) There's no Literature textbook in here, why would she want to get in?

(Jose accidentally backs into desk, spilling some contents onto the floor, including, but not limited to, a gun)

JOSE: (picks up weapon) Hmmmm....

BILL: I thought I smelled some gunpowder in this room!

JOSE: Hang on a moment, s'pose the textbook was a cover....

(Bill is looking at the gun with obvious intrigue)

BILL: Neat.

JOSE: Bill! What if the gun was Janet's?

( Reginald hurries in, Jose and Bill quickly turn around and Bill shoves the gun behind his back)
