Dev and Sonakshi came back to Mumbai after spending the best one-month of their lives at Sundernagar Village. Dev got busy with his preparations for the Neurosurgery entrance exam, which was just two months away; Sonakshi had a grueling schedule in the Emergency room. They could not see each other for days after they got back.

One evening, Sonakshi had just returned from an ER shift around midnight, she showered in the common hostel bathroom and walked towards her room in her bathrobe. She entered her room and was surprised to see the lights out, "main light toh onn kar ke gayi thi....toh yeh andhera..?" she shrugged her shoulders as she thought she was just too tired and probably did not remember.

"AH! AH! AH!" she screamed as someone caught her from behind but her protests were soon smothered with someone's hand on her mouth. The lights came back and she saw Dev standing in front of her!

"Dev! Tum!.....mujhe darra hi diya tha!" she was still shaking and did not realize her bathrobe and come loose, till she saw the mischievous look on Dev's face as he checked her out from head to toe....

"Dev!" she tried to tie her robe back

"Itni jaldi nahin.....Sonakshi....thodi der aur darrti raho....." Dev winked

Sonakshi wrapped herself back as she heard a knock, "Sonakshi! Sonakshi! Kya hua...tumhare cheekhne ki awaaz aayi thi?"

It was Riya. Dev hid behind the door as Sonakshi opened it a little and answered, "kuch nahin, ek machchar ne kaat liya tha" she kept elbowing Dev as his hands kept making way into her robe from behind.

"Bahut mota machchar hoga?" Riya looked concerned

"Haan....bahut mota aur khatarnaak....."she smiled and shut the door as she said good night to Riya. Riya understood and smiled back.

Dev grabbed her again, "achha toh main ek mota aur khatarnaak machchar hoon?....abhi dikhaata hoon ki kaise kaat tha hai...."he nibbled on her ear.

They both teased each other and fell on her bed.

Sonakshi looked into his eyes and said, "achha tum yahan aaye kaise....?"

"Wall climb kar ke...."

"WOW, Mr Perfect Dev Dixit ab aise kaam bhi karne lage hain....?" She teased him

"Arre kya batayein....ishq ne humein nikkama bana diya....warna hum bhi the aadmi kaam ke....." he recited a famous "sher"

"Ab doctor se shaayar bhi ban gaye ho?" she laughed

"Tumhare liye kuch bhi banne ko tayyar hoon..." he cuddled and kissed her neck

"Such a liar!!....." she said as she remembered their conversation in Sundarnagar when she had asked him to settle there with her forever.

"Ab tum jao...." Sonakshi tried to push him away.... "warden ne dekh liya...toh suspend ho jaogey....."

"Itni risk lekar toh aaya hoon....kuch toh reward milnaa chahiye....." he drew her closer.

"Mil gaya jitnaa milna tha....ab jao" she tried to get away again

"Nahin....abhi nahin" Dev got his way as he started kissing her everywhere; there was no way she could resist his lips.........

They were both fast asleep when Dev's cell phone rang. Dev got up to see their bare bodies intertwined with each other...."Hello.....kaun Natasha?" he said in a sleepy voice, "Oh main bhool gaya tha tumhari flight aaj aa rahi hai....kal subah milein....abhi main so raha hoon....bahut lambi duty thi aaj....kal tumhare ghar aa jaaoonga....bye!" he hung up and saw Sonakshi peeking through her half open eyes.

He got up and dressed quickly. "Kal main Natasha ko sab bata doonga.." he kissed Sonakshi's hand and left through the window and climbed up the hostel wall to escape. Sonakshi smiled and went back to sleep.....she was exhausted.... "pehle ER ki duty...phir Dev ki duty....I am so tired of this Double Duty...."

She dreamt of Dev as this song played in her dreams:

Now I have something important to tell you....
You might feel that this FF is similar to my other work 'The Life Changing Bet', however its not so...they could be similar in some aspects but only for one or two chapters.....after that, its a completely new story and a new outlook...I hope the confusion is cleared now....

'Love Till Eternity' was updated yesterday....and 'Sweet Revenge' will be up by tonight....😊
