Arnav had just walked out of shower so he could get ready for the party. It was Saira's birthday today and apparently her parents had thrown some huge party for her so she had also invited him and Suman since they always hanged out together.

"Arnav, are you ready?" Saira asked as she walked into his room with knocking.

"Saira! Knock!" Arnav said.

"I am so sorry, I dint know you were getting dressed, you were supposed to be ready by now remember?" Saira asked.

"I know, I took a nap and I overslept."

"Oh okay, I'll wait outside, get dressed quickly." She giggled as she stared at him for a moment making him awkward and then headed out to wait for him in the hall.

"So how old have you turned today?" Padmini asked as Saira joined them.

"Twenty, finally no more a teenager." She giggled nervously.

"Oh wow, Arnav will also turn twenty next month." Padmini smiled as Arnav joined them, he dint really have any party types clothes so he had just worn a black trouser and white shirt and rolled up the sleeves so it wouldn't look too official.

"Finally, you're ready, imagine it's my birthday, everyone must be waiting for me and I am here waiting for you, now come on, hurry up." Saira smiled as she stood up, grabbed his arm and pulled him along.

They both got in the car as she instructed the driver to drive, Arnav pulled his phone out from the pocket so he could check whether he had any calls or text from Khushi.

"Can I say something if you won't get awkward?" Saira asked.

"Sure." Arnav said as he looked at her wondering what she wanted to say.

"You looked so hot, I mean straight out of the shower with the water droplets all over your chest and your abs... the sight of it was too hot to handle." Saira giggled.

"Thank you I guess?" Arnav said awkwardly, he hadn't really been given such compliments by anyone apart from Khushi and with Khushi it was never awkward, well because they were dating of course, she was allowed to see him anyhow and compliment his body and even touch it.

"You should maybe get into modelling or so after college." Saira suggested.

"I remember having that obsession when I was a child." Arnav laughed remembering as a kid he had always wanted to become a model, but as he grew up, he somehow just got over it.

He hadn't thought about it since ages until now, that too because Saira mentioned it.

"You should definitely give it a try then."

"I'll think about it." Arnav laughed as the driver pulled over outside the huge mansion, they both stepped out of the car and headed inside, the whole mansion on the inside was decorated for the birthday and there were so many guests around already.

"Can you wait around for a couple minutes? I have to get dressed, I'll be back soon?" She smiled at him, Arnav nodded as he started looking around hoping to find a familiar face and quite gladly, he saw Suman walking towards him.

"You have no idea how glad I am to see you, this high-class parties scare me." Arnav smiled at Suman.

"You have to get used to then, your girlfriend belongs to the same class." Suman said.

"At least I am comfortable around her, talking about my girlfriend, have you talked to her lately? I have been trying to call her, I've texted her multiple times but she hasn't replied.

She called me yesterday and I think my phone was on silent so I dint know, when I saw her missed calls, I tried calling her back but she dint receive, she hasn't even replied to any of my texts yet." Arnav pouted.

"I haven't talked to her, she might be busy somewhere, I'm sure she would call." Suman assured him, he nodded as they both just looked around at the people present in the party, it did seem like a really huge party because in the next ten minutes, the whole mansion was full of people.

Everyone was standing in different groups discussing their own things waiting for the party to start.

"Why don't they start it already, where is Saira?" Arnav said as he looked towards the staircase and saw her descending them.

She was dressed in a beautiful baby pink dress, with very minimal jewelry, she had her makeup on and she looked so freaking beautiful, for a moment he just stared at her with his eyes wide open.

"You have to admit, this girl is pretty gorgeous, I'm jealous." Suman giggled.

"Yeah." Arnav just nodded as he kept on staring at her in awe, he had never seen her dressed up like this, she looked so beautiful it was hard not to stare.

She stopped in front of the three-tier cake and smiled excitedly as everyone stood around her and started singing the birthday song while she cut the cake, and after that there was the whole cake feeding thing, everyone did on their birthdays.

Slowly, everyone headed to have dinner which was arranged as a buffet in the garden that was right outside the mansion.

"We should go eat too and then get going home." Suman suggested, to which Arnav nodded and started walking out with her when Saira called him out.

"Arnav!" She waved at him.

"You go talk to her, I'm heading to eat, I have a curfew, but you better leave soon or I'll have to warn my best friends you're spending too much time around her." Suman teased him.

"Shut up, I might spend too much time with anyone, but I'm always going to love Khushi." Arnav said to Suman as he walked towards Saira nervously, gladly all her high-class friends had gone to eat so at least he wasn't going to feel awkward.

"Where were you going?" Saira asked.

"To eat, I've got to get going back before it gets too late." Arnav said.

"Oh come on, don't worry about that, the driver will drop you later... right now stay here and give me company, as my birthday gift?" she looked at him making cute faces.

"I already gave you, your birthday gift today morning."

"Okay fine, then you can go." She frowned.

"I'm kidding, I'll stay but not too late fine? Just because it's your birthday." Arnav laughed.

"Aww, you are such a sweetheart." She said as she threw her arms around him and hugged him. She was the kind of a person that was always hugging everyone around her, and he wasn't really that comfortable with all those hugs.

After almost everyone was gone, Arnav decided it was finally time for him to go home too, he had stayed here way longer than he had anticipated.

"Hey, I really think I should get going." He said to Saira.

"Okay, let me tell dad to get someone to drop you." She smiled as she walked towards her father and talked to him, their conversation lasted for like two minutes and then she walked back to him.

"Hey, sorry all the drivers have gone to drop some of the guests back, would you mind waiting a while? As soon as any of them comes back, they will drop you."

"Oh... okay."

"You look so tired; come you can sit in my room while we wait." She suggested as she grabbed his hand and pulled him along upstairs even before he could say anything.

"You can lie down there, I'll change and be right back." Saira smiled at him as she grabbed her night suit and headed inside the washroom to change, Arnav lied down on the bed and closed his eyes, he had had a tiring day today all he wanted to do was go home and sleep.

He rarely attended parties or anything so anytime he attended any event with a lot of people around, it usually made him feel tired.

Once Saira was done changing and washing off her make up, she walked out of the room and found Arnav lying on the bed, at first she thought he was just resting so she called out his name but he dint reply so she realized, he must have fallen asleep.

She smiled as she lied down on the bed beside him, staring at him, he was such a handsome man, he looked even cuter while he was asleep.

She grabbed her phone and turned on her camera so she could take a selfie with him, she moved a bit closer and took a selfie and then put the camera aside and continued admiring him.

"Arnav... wake up." She shook him lightly trying to wake him up.

He sat up immediately and looked around in confusion as he slowly realized he had fallen asleep.

"Shit, did I stay the whole night?" He asked worriedly.

"No, you were asleep for like ten minutes only. I dint want to wake you up but I figured you wouldn't want to stay here the entire night so I woke you up. One of our driver is on his way back, he said he would be here in five minutes so I woke you up." She smiled.

"Ohh... thanks." He said as he rubbed his eyes trying to get rid of the sleep, he was really sleepy he dint even realize how he had fallen asleep.

"You look like a cute baby while asleep." Saira smiled.

"Thanks." Arnav laughed.

"How mean, I'm always complimenting you and you never compliment me. Today I was so dressed up and you dint even say one nice thing to me." She pouted once again.

"Okay, you looked really pretty today, like a doll in the pink dress of yours." Arnav said.

"Really?" She smiled as she moved closer to him.

"Really." Arnav nodded.

She moved a bit closer to him until there was not much space left between him, they both looked at each other for a moment, she was biting her lower lip as if she was nervous and Arnav just kept on staring at her.

"You know, I've always wondered..." She said.

"Wondered what?"

"What it would feel like to... kiss you..." She grabbed his shirt and moved so close to his face, he was so confused at the moment he dint even know how to react.

She cupped his face, slowly brushing her thumb on his lips, and then she moved her face closer to his, almost kissing him.

"Saira!" Arnav said as he stood up immediately and stepped back as realization dawned upon him. He was just about to let her kiss him! What the hell was he thinking? How could he even get this weak?

"Come on Arnav, don't run away from it, you know you want to kiss me too." She said as she rushed towards him cupping his face again.

"I have a girlfriend!" Arnav said angrily as he stepped backwards once again, why wouldn't she stop touching him?

"A girlfriend that's not even around. You have needs Arnav, like everyone else don't you? You want to be kissed, to be touched, to have someone make love to you, and she's not here to give you that, but I am, I'm ready to give you everything here.

Come on Arnav, you know you want it... I promise I won't say a word if you don't, it can be a one time thing. Think about it, just you and me, one night please? It's going to be our own little secret." Saira tried to convince him while Arnav just stared at her blankly.
