You know they say that when you are with the person you love, time flies, like one moment it would be eight in the morning and you blink at it's midnight and you don't even know how fast time passed.

It was the same for Arnav and Khushi, they had spent a week together and then Rudra came with the news, everything for Khushi had been set up in Australia, the tickets were booked and they were supposed to leave the very next day.

It was like one moment they were spending all the time they had together and now they had to go away from each other, it was heartbreaking.

Khushi had just finished her packing with the help of Arnav when Rudra walked into her room.

"You done?" He asked.

"Yeah." She replied sadly as she looked at Arnav, she couldn't believe that this was their last day together, tomorrow she was going away from him and she had no idea when they were going to meet again.

"You know we're doing it for your own good Khushi." Rudra said.

"It still doesn't make sense to me but I am done arguing with you guys so I'll just do whatever you want."

"Because it's your last day with him, I'll let you two go out today and spend as much time you want together." Rudra said.

"Jeez thanks, that's all I want." Khushi rolled her eyes.

"Hey... don't be so rude, it's okay." Arnav smiled at her.

"It's not okay, I don't like the idea of going away from you that too so they could be sure you mean no harm to me, I know you mean no harm to me, why can't they trust me?"

"Because we trusted Ritika and look where that brought us." Rudra said angrily.

"Relax babe, I promise I will text you and call you daily, you wont even feel that I'm not there. Give me half an hour, I'll go home, have something to do then I'll come pick you up and when can go out. You can get ready meanwhile." Arnav smiled at her.

"Okay." She pouted as he walked away leaving her and Rudra alone.

"You better have your location on, I want to give you two privacy so I won't come along, but I need to know where you are just incase okay?" Rudra said.

"Whatever you say." Khushi replied.

"I know you hate me for this, but you'll realize that we did it all just to keep you safe Khushi." Rudra looked at her sadly and then walked away as Khushi sat down on her bed, she dint even feel like getting ready, all she could think of was that tomorrow she would leave, she would be in a different country and it just made her sad knowing Arnav wont be there with her.

All this time he had been very understanding of her decisions and her brother's decisions, only if her brothers would have understood him too.

Like he had promised, Arnav was back within half an hour all dressed up, Khushi too had convinced herself to get ready and spend quality time with Arnav instead of being sad about the fact that she was leaving.

Like Rudra told her, she turned her location on and then left with Arnav, she couldn't understand why they dint trust Arnav yet, he literally meant no harm to her, if he had to harm her he would have done it long time ago.

"Whose car have you stolen today?" Khushi smiled as she walked towards him.

"It's actually your brother's. They said we could use it, and they even gave me permission to drive it." He smiled excitedly.

"Wow, I dint even realize it was one of our cars. So where are we going?"

"Just somewhere where it will be only you and me."

"Okay and where is that?"

"You will see." He smiled as he held the door open for her, she walked inside the car and then he rushed to the driver's seat and drove off.

Khushi sat silently in the car, usually she would talk to him about random stuff and irritate the hell out of him but today she was just kind of sad so she dint have much to say.

After a short drive they arrived to a drive-in cinema, Khushi looked at Arnav in surprise, she wasn't expecting him to bring her to a drive in on their last date.

"So we're going to watch a movie?" She asked.

"We can, or we cannot, whatever you wish." He smirked.

"Okay, we can watch a movie for now then do something else later, I am spending every minute until I leave with you."

"As you say babe." He smiled, they adjusted their seats and rolled the windows down as they sat comfortably while the movie began playing, Khushu turned to look at Arnav who was staring at the huge screen in front of them and somehow her eyes just teared up.

She really couldn't imagine going away from him, it was going to be so difficult. How was she going to stay without seeing him at all?

"Promise me you won't find another girlfriend while I'm away." She said to him, he looked at her as he started laughing out loud.

What was so funny about it?

"I am the one supposed to be worried that you would find someone else out there, I mean have you looked at yourself? You're gorgeous, all the guys would be running around you, no one would run around me."

"I am serious Arnav." She pouted.

"You don't have anything to worry about Khushi, I love you, and I am going to continue loving you no matter how far you go, trust me." He cupped her face and looked her into the eyes seriously.

"Promise?"

"Promise." He smiled at her. He had loved her even when she was in love with Mr. writer without knowing that he was Mr. writer, so this distance wasn't going to change his feelings.

"If any girl tried to approach you, tell her you've got a dangerous girlfriend." Khushi laughed.

"Sure I'll tell her you're from underworld." Arnav laughed along with her, Khushi moved closer to him as she rested her head on her shoulder and held his arms.

Once she leaves, she was going to miss all this, hanging around with him, holding him, hugging him and feeling safe and loved in his arms. She couldn't believe everything was going to change so much, it was quite scary.

They stayed at the drive in for a while and then Arnav suggested they should go get something to eat so they left midway without finish the movie.

"Where would you like to eat?"

"Anywhere is fine, as long as we get to sit and eat in peace." Khushi said, he nodded as he drove to the nearby restaurant.

"Do you have a curfew?" Arnav asked as he parked the car.

"Nope, I wasn't told anything, we can stay out as long as we want to."

"Good." He smiled as they both stepped out of the car and headed inside the restaurant, it wasn't exactly a huge five start restaurant, but it seemed good.

They got themselves a table and settled down, while Arnav grabbed the menu Khushi kept on staring at him.

"You know when you stare at me like that, it feels like you are falling in love with me again." He laughed.

"Maybe I am." Khushi smiled.

"Okay stop flirting, let's eat then I'll take you back home, I don't your brothers to dislike me because I got you late."

"Will you stay the night? Please."

"Will they okay be with it? I could tell my aunt I'm staying over at a friend's but I don't think your brothers would approve."

"Don't worry, convincing them is my duty, just say you'll stay please. I don't want to spend any minute without you until I have to." She pouted.

"Okay baby, if you say so, I'll stay." He smiled.

After dinner, they came back to the mansion, they dint really do anything extra ordinary, just normal things normal people do together, as long as they spend their time together, it was all worth it.

She found Rudra and Arjun seated in the hall having some discussion, they looked at them both as soon as they walked in.

"Oh you're back, I wasn't expecting you to be back so early." Rudra said.

"What can I say, you guys have managed to scare my boyfriend pretty bad." Khushi said as she looked at Arnav and smiled, Arnav just smiled awkwardly, he always got so awkward around her brothers.

"It's not like we are going to kill him, if you don't have any wrong intentions with our sister, there's nothing you have to worry about Arnav." Arjun looked at him.

Arnav just nodded politely, Khushi grabbed his hand and pulled him along as they sat down opposite them.

"Where's Prem?" She asked looking around.

"He went out, he hasn't been back yet."

"Do you think he would solve things between him and Suman? She was pretty sad when I met her yesterday, what is wrong with him? It wasn't Suman's fault, why is he punishing her like that?" Khushi asked.

"We don't know Khushi, we tried to talk to him, he just doesn't want to listen." Arjun sighed.

"I wish I had never tried to make things work between them, because of him, my best friend is hurt. I wouldn't ever forgive him if he doesn't sort things between them."

"Relationships are based on trust Khushi, you can't deny that she broke his trust by not telling him about you two." Rudra said.

"So you wanted her to break my trust and tell him? Come on, you can't put her on crossroads like that, it was my secret, and as my best friend she kept it. Prem is mad at her for no reason."

"We would still try talking to him but I don't think it will work."

"I feel like punching him... anyway can Arnav stay here tonight? He can sleep in the guest room, please?" Khushi asked both her brothers.

They both looked at each other for a moment and then turned to look at her and nodded positively, it was strange how they agreed immediately, she thought they were going to need more convincing. Maybe they knew they were taking her away from him so she at least deserved this.
