"Khushi! Sit down, let's talk." Rudra said as he rushed behind her. She stopped walked and turned to face him, she stared at him silently waiting for him to talk.

"You have to try and understand Khushi, we did whatever that we did to keep you safe, you cant blame us for it." Rudra said.

"I am not blaming you, but it's not fair for you to ask me to break up with Arnav, I love him bro... and maybe you think I'm to young for love and all that but I still love him and nothing would change that." Khushi said hoping he would try to understand her.

"I get it Khushi, I really do. But as your brothers, we can't stop worrying, we can't stop wondering that what if the same thing happened again? It's just... to scary for us Khushi."

"So what do you want me to do? Break up with Arnav because you guys are scared?"

"No... you said you both love each other, right?" Rudra asked, the both of them nodded positively.

"Fine, if he also loves you and he doesn't have any wrong intentions with you, let him prove that love." Rudra suggested.

"How do you want me to prove it? I'll do anything to make you believe that I love her and I wont ever harm her in any way whatsoever." Arnav finally spoke up.

"You don't have to prove you love me Arnav." Khushi looked at him.

"It's not for you baby, it's for their satisfaction. Tell me, what will I have to do?" Arnav looked at him confidently.

"Let her go. I don't mean for good, but we need to be sure she's chosen the right guy and if you two love each other as much as you say, stay away from each other, long enough and far away where there are chances of you two falling for someone else.

If you both manage to stay in love that long, we will believe it, meanwhile we'll also have time to get background check and everything done to be sure. All you need to do is pass the test of time and I promise, neither of us will come in between you two again." Rudra said.

"What are you trying to say bro?" Khushi looked at him in confusion.

"Remember when we wanted you to go to Australia for your studies and you chose to stay? How about you actually go and study there, while he remains here. You can talk over the phone video call and everything, and if after you finish your studies, you two still want to be together, I promise we wont object, as long as we don't find anything bad about him." Rudra said.

"That's basically telling me to break up with him in other words." Khushi said.

"No it's not, it's just giving a test to prove that you two actually love each other, the distance shouldn't matter if you really do?"

"What about my studies? I've already spent an year here, if I go to Australia, I'll have to start all over again, that's basically me wasting my one year." Khushi said.

"It shouldn't matter if you're willing to prove your love."

"I cant believe you would even suggest this. Why would I waste my entire year? You are out of your mind Rudra!" Khushi said angrily.

"I am not, I am trying to make sure my sister is safe!"

"By doing this? It's not fair, I won't agree on it." Khushi said.

"Fine, then stay here and adhere to our rules, no going to the same college as him not meeting him no contact with him."

"What the hell is wrong with you guys, why are you doing this?" Khushi shouted angrily.

"He knows that we will do a background check on him Khushi, he can try to hide things, he can try to look good. I am not saying he is bad, maybe he isn't, but we won't be able to believe it because he knows the whole story now.

It's upon you two to decide what you want, I've given you two options, pick whatever suits you." Rudra sighed as he walked away leaving them to make a decision.

"I can't believe they would make us do this, why can't they just freaking understand me!" Khushi said as she turned to look at Arnav.

"You can't blame them baby, they care for you."

"If they care for me they should think about my happiness too. I am not going anywhere, I am staying here and I am staying with you, let them do whatever they want to."

"Hey, don't be so mad. It's okay, they need me to prove that I'm worthy enough for you then I will Khushi, besides we might be teenager but our love is strong, I don't think any distance would bring a difference.

It's time for us to prove our love to them, I think you should go to Australia, we will talk daily I promise, I will call you everyday, we would make it work." Arnav cupped her face and looked her into the eyes.

"Distance isn't as easy as you think Arnav."

"I know, but that is the test. We have to prove it to them so they can be sure that I mean no harm to your, so they can trust me and know that you are safe around me. I mean no serial killer is going to wait around for you to complete your studies in another country so he can murder you, if I'm a serial killer, I'll give up." Arnav laughed.

"This isn't funny Arnav." Khushi pouted.

"It's the only way baby, think about it and then decide, I am okay with anything you are okay with."

"I hate that they are making us do this." Khushi said sadly as she held Arnav and hugged him.

"Yes or no Suman! It's a simple question I need a simple answer!" Prem said angrily.

"Yes." Suman replied.

"So, you knew she was talking to a guy, you knew she was dating him and instead of telling me about it, you decided to hide it from me and let that alone, you even helped her sneak out and go meet him? How could you Suman?

Did you bother asking me once why we had a rule for her? What if something had happened to her, what if she got kidnapped or something?" Prem asked.

"She's my beast friend Prem, that's what best friends do for each other, besides Arnav is a good guy, I knew that and that's why I helped her. You can't blame me for helping her, that's what best friends do for each other."

"You know what best friends do but do you know what girlfriends do? They don't keep secrets from their boyfriends especially when it's about their sister!

Honestly, I am so disappointed Suman, I don't think I can forgive you for it." Prem said.

"What did you expect me to do Prem? Khushi is my best friend, she asked me to keep a secret that's what I am supposed to do. Just because I am dating you doesn't mean I'll come tell you her secrets."

"Fine, you chose what you wanted to do, let me choose what I want to do."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean we're over. I am sorry but I can't be with someone that keeps things from me, especially when it concerns my sister."

"You can't be serious Prem, you cant break up with me over such a stupid reason."

"I can Suman, you have no idea how serious this is."

"So you'll give up on us, everything beautiful between us just because I dint tell you about Khushi having a boyfriend? Because I helped her sneak out?"

"Exactly my reason."

"Fine, you want to leave me because I did what every best friend does, great leave! But just know, if you walk out on me right now, and then realize it in the future that you were wrong, I won't forgive you for it, neither am I getting back with you, ever again!"

"You lost me when you decided to keep things from me Suman, I wouldn't try to get back with you."

"Fine then, I also don't need a guy in my life that would leave me for such a stupid reason, I deserve better than you Prem, I mean after all we've been through, how could you decide to break up just like that?" Suman looked at him angrily.

At first he didn't want to be with her, and finally when they got together and everything was going to great between us, he chose to break up with her because she hid Khushi and Arnav's relationship from him.

Yes, he could be angry about it and everything, but he had no right to break up with her because of it, and if he was breaking up with her over it, she was so sure she wasn't going to forgive him for it.

After sitting down together for a while and discussing everything, Arnav and Khushi made their decision and then headed to Rudra's room to inform him about it, it was a tough decision to make.

The knocked at the door and walked in, Rudra was seated on his bed lost in some thoughts when they walked in.

"I suppose you've made the decision then." Rudra said

"I am ready to go to Australia if that's what it takes to get you all to finally start trusting Arnav, I wouldn't want to be with him if you three always going to be scared or anything. I get it, whatever that happened with Ritika was traumatizing and I know it's hard for you to trust any guy so for the sake on it, I am willing to do this.

But I'm not leaving right away, I need to stay here for a while spend some time with Arnav, I deserve at least that much." Khushi said.

"Fine, you have time until everything is ready for you, your tickets, visa and accommodation, he can come here to see you whenever he wants, if you need privacy you can be in your room but the door should always be unlocked, and you don't get to go anywhere out with him." Rudra said.

"It's okay with us." Arnav agreed, Khushi just looked at him and smiled faintly, he was so understanding and mature even at such a young age, he was the perfect guy for her. Maybe if it had been someone else at his place right now, he would have run away, but Arnav wasn't the one to run and that's what she loved about him.

"Perfect, I'll make all the arrangements for you to shift there then." Rudra said.

"Okay, we'll be in my room then." Khushi smiled faintly as she walked away with Arnav, she was already feeling sad, but she had to do this, for her brothers to be okay with their relationship, because she loved them so much and she knew she wouldn't be completely happy with Arnav if they weren't.
