"You know if your brothers find out, they'll kill me first?" Suman looked at Khushi nervously as Khushi stared at her reflection in the mirror. Gladly she actually carried a date type of a jumpsuit thinking she'd wear it in case they decided to go for dinner in some restaurant or something.

It was a black wide leg jumpsuit with lace details on the neck and sleeve, it looked beautiful. She couldn't believe she was actually going on her first date, that too sneaking away so her brothers wouldn't find out.

"Chill, they won't ever find out." she assured Suman as she applied a red lipstick, she was a bold person, and she loved dressing up and make up.

"What if one of your brothers come to room looking for you?"

"Suman, stop being scared, they are all tired and asleep and they know better not to disturb me while I'm sleeping or they face my wrath so don't worry neither of them is going to come here until morning and I'll be back soon. It's just a couple hours."

"This doesn't sound good to me. I mean he's just a guy you met here, how do you know if he's not a serial killer?"

"Because I have met him twice before that, he looked like a genuine guy, and I have my phone, if something happens I'll call." Khushi said.

Her phone beeped so she picked it up and read the text message she had received from Arnav saying he was waiting outside for her. She quickly grabbed her stuff and sneaked out making sure no one saw her, it was good that her room was on the 4th floor and all her brothers had their rooms on the fifth floor so there was no chance either of them could see her unless they decided to go out on a night walk, which wouldn't happen because they were all pretty tired from the journey.

She got into the elevator and headed downstairs nervously, she was quite nervous not knowing how it was going to go, she hadn't had any experience of a date, she dint even know what she was going to talk about.

She remembered even when she received a text from Arnav asking if they could go for the date tonight, she almost said no because she was really nervous but then she agreed because maybe this was going to be her only chance to experience an actual date and maybe it was worth the risk.

She headed to the parking lot and found Arnav standing in front of her leaning against a car. Did he have a car? Did he drive here himself? But wasn't he underage? She walked towards him asking herself all these questions when she finally saw a driver seated inside the car.

"Hey." She smiled at him.

"Hey... I'm glad you agreed to come." He walked closer to her and greeted her with a hug, Khushi stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do, it was the first time someone was greeting her with a hug, she knew it was pretty common but well she dint even have any friends apart from Suman so she hadn't been greeted that way before.

"I'm sorry, did I do something wrong?" Arnav asked as he stepped backwards looking at her nervously.

"No... I... I just don't. I mean I'm an awkward hugger, I really don't know how to hug." Khushi giggled.

"Oh okay, no worried. Anyway should we get going?" Arnav asked as he opened the back door for her to get in, Khushi smiled as she got in and he followed her, he was such a gentleman, just the kind of guy she watched in movies and read about in novels.

"So is this your car or?" Khushi asked once the driver started driving.

"No, it's Uber." Arnav laughed as she nodded, it made more sense now.

Well the next few minutes of the ride were silent, of course it was their first date and they dint even know each other, so they both were kind of nervous.

Once they arrived at the location, the driver stopped the car outside a gate as Arnav paid him and then he and Khushi stepped out.

"Is this a restaurant or?" Khushi asked.

"No... it's my home. And before you get scared, I promise it's going to be okay. I just don't really have much money so I thought I'd arrange our date here, you don't even have to go inside the house, I've arranged everything outside in the garden.

The Uber is still here, if you don't feel comfortable I can drop you back to your hotel or if you want, we can still have the date and then I drop you back later." Arnav suggested.

Khushi looked at him nervously, she knew she could feel safer at a restaurant where people were around, this was kind of scary but Arnav did seem like a good guy, she dint know what to do.

She gave it a bit of thought, she did know his cousin Shaina who was in the same school with her so it wouldn't be that terrible maybe.

"You can trust me Khushi." He assured her.

"Okay." She finally agreed, Arnav smiled excitedly as he opened the gate for her and led her inside, like he said just outside in the garden, there was a round table placed that was decorated with lanterns and there were flower petals on in and on the ground, it was simple yet beautiful.

He pulled out a chair of her as she settled down and then he sat opposite her and smiled at her as he started serving her food which had already been placed on the table.

"I hope you like pasta, I'm not much of a cook but I love pasta and most teenager do so I made it."

"I love pasta, especially if it has a lot of cheese." Khushi smiled excitedly, she was obsessed with cheese pasta.

"Great you are going to love it then, I was very generous with the cheese." Arnav smiled.

He handed her the plate and then served some for himself and also filled two classes with juice as they both started eating.

"Wow, this is actually yummy." Khushi said as soon as she took the first bite.

"I'm glad you like it. And don't mind this small date, if I was a working and earning I could do much better."

"At least I got to go on a date so I don't mind how it is as long as it's a date." Khushi giggled.

"What? You mean this is your first date?" Arnav looked at her in surprise.

"Yeah, I've never really gone on a date before... long story."

"If I knew it was your first date, I would have made it much better. I'm sorry."

"You are cute, you don't have to apologize for anything." Khushi laughed, Arnav just smiled and nodded as they both ate silently.

"So... have you ever danced before?"

"I have, in school I've participated in some dances."

"How about a slow romantic dance?"

"Umm nope not those."

"Well great, I get to be your first date and your first romantic dance too." Arnav smirked proudly.

"Who said I'm going to dance with you?"

"Aren't you?" He asked as he pouted like a baby making a really cute face, how could anyone say no to such a face?

"Okay fine I will, we can have a dance before I leave." Khushi laughed.

"Great. So Khushi... tell me more about yourself."

"Umm, you know where I live and which school I study in, apart from that, I live with my three elder brothers that are very protective of me, so in case you were to kidnap me right now, they'd find you and kill you" She giggled.

"I am safe because I'm not planning to kidnap you then."

"You wish, I'm not even allowed to talk to boys so if they find out I'm here, you're still dead."

"Wow, those are pretty scary brothers you have then. Why don't they want you to talk to boys though?"

"I don't know, they've never really told me the reason, maybe they will one day." She sighed.

"It must have been tough. I mean nowadays every group of friends are mixed."

"Yeah, that's why I have only one friend Suman... but I'm okay with it, I don't have much complaints."

"Now I somehow feel lucky, you agreed to come on this date despite your brothers not wanting you to talk to guys, that must have taken a lot of strength for you."

"It kind of did, but I'm also glad I came." Khushi blushed a little, Arnav just smiled as he stood up and pulled out his phone from the pocket. He searched for a slow music and played it then walked towards Khushi.

"So can we have the dance?" He smiled. Khushi nodded as she gave him her hand and stood up, it was exciting as well as scary, since she came here, her heart had been beating rapidly.

"Do you think we'll ever meet again?" Arnav asked as the both of them moved according to the rhythm, looking each other into the eyes and smiling.

"If destiny has it so, and even if we don't, I'll remember I at least had a beautiful first date with a great guy." She smiled. Arnav just nodded as they continued dancing to the music.

"So here you are, see I promised I won't kidnap you." Arnav laughed as he finally dropped Khushi back at the hotel after their date.

"I'm glad I agreed for the date." Khushi blushed.

"Me too. I really had a nice time and if we dint have this distance, I would have loved to take you for another date, but well if destiny has it so, I will get the chance." Arnav said.

"Hopefully. Anyway I'll get going, it was good to know you Arnav, stay in contact." Khushi smiled.

"I will." He smiled, this time she walked closer to him and hugged him as a goodbye then she quickly rushed to the elevator and headed to the fourth floor, after waving Arnav a last goodbye.

She headed back to her room still smiling, even though it was a small simple date, nothing extravagant, for some reason she just kept on feeling over excited about it and she couldn't stop smiling.

She slowly opened the door not wanting to wake Suman up but yet she couldn't wait to tell her how great the date had been, but she could wait until the morning maybe to tell her all about it.

As she pushed the door open, she found Suman awake, just lying on the bed and staring at her phone.

"You aren't asleep?" Khushi asked.

"No, how could I sleep? Rudra came here looking for you." Suman said as Khushi looked at her in shock, yup it seemed like she was in trouble. Oh God! What would happen if they found out she was with Arnav, the poor guy was going to get beaten up so badly.
