Marry me

Without Taehun in her life anymore, Taesoul had found herself clinging to the only other family member around her age. This was her elder cousin Yeona. Yeona had been an older sister figure to Tae for the majority of her life and she valued this girls opinion more than anyone else. Well any other female she knew. They had been through many things at each others side, from first boyfriends to their current situations. Tae's complicated love life and Yeona's stressful time as a surgeon at her local hospital. It was funny how one had fallen in love with music and the other with people. But the two remained in constant contact and each time GOT7 performed somewhere close to where Yeona lived, if the older girl could make it and was not on shift she was there.

It made perfect sense to the young girl that she idolised the older girl. She had done so well at school and had worked her way into an incredible profession. Yeona had admitted the reason she had started studying medicine was for her younger cousins who were both fighting illnesses for the majority of their lives. Even if Taesoul's had never been overly life threatening the older cousin had wanted to understand it more and help. If not find a cause, but find a way for it to be manageable and much better than it was currently.

Tae lived for the times she got to call her cousin, whether it was a phone call or a FaceTime call.  Therefore, when her cousin had facetimed her that evening she had rushed from the living room into her own bedroom for some quiet. She almost instantly clicked the accept button watching as the older girl's face appeared on her screen.

"Ye-Ah!" Taesoul exclaimed watching as she flung herself onto the bed.

"Lil' Tae-Tae" Came the as enthusiastic voice of her older cousin.

"I can't believe you called me, I thought you were meant to be on holiday with Jungho?" Tae questioned her eyebrows moving in closer to one another as she thought about the situation.

"I am on holiday, that's why I'm calling you. I have some massive news." Yeona elaborated. She watched her cousin's eyebrows stay in their confused position as she let out a little giggle. Repositioning the camera so there was as much natural light as possible, Yeona opened her mouth to speak again.

"We were at a candle lit dinner, being all cute and stuff when all of a sudden Jungho, gets down on one knee, and he proposed to me." Came the loud voice of Yeona as Tae suddenly let out a squeal, she lent forwards as if she would be able to see something better.

Yeona then moved the camera so that the ring was in the picture. It was rather large diamond on the gold band and it seemed to drown the finger it was sat on. But she wasn't surprised jungle was also another surgeon but he was from a wealthy family and money did not mean much him therefore, he would spare no expense on anything yet alone something like this.

"There's also another reason I wanted to call you, I was hoping, that you would be one of my bridesmaids." Yeona spoke again and when Tae let out another squeal she took this as a yes from the younger girl. The amount of squealing the young girl was making had lead to someone coming into her room. It was easy to walk in their rather quietly considering the door had been left open and the girl's focus was entirely on the phone in front of her.

Youngjae approached her and sat directly behind her on the bed, his arms wrapped around her waist and his head resting on her shoulder. He made eye contact with Yeona as he took in her surroundings and the massive rock sat on her ring finger.

"Congrats Ye-ah" He complimented the elder girl not even moving at the name he had called her by. He was family now anyways. He moved his arms so that they were tighter around Taesoul as she moved to sit in-between his legs. It was easier for them both to appear on the phone this way as the frame moved to show both of their faces.

"So where is this unlucky man? I need to wish him luck for joining the family." Taesoul spoke watching as her cousin laughed and used her right hand to beckon someone over. When she saw said fiancé of her cousin approach she sent him a smile.

"Tae-Tae, Youngjae, hello" He greeted the pair.

"Hello Jungho" They both spoke at the same time and Taesoul turned her head to look at him.

"Jinx" She spoke fast

"Not fair baby, not fair." Youngjae whined as she let out a small laugh and turned her attention back to the phone.

"Well I'd be honoured to be a bridesmaid at your wedding, and I'll make it to anything you need me to attend." Tae commented as she yawned slightly. Though the day had been one of their quieter ones she still found herself wanting to go to bed.

"Of course you're invited too Youngjae, all family is welcome." Added Yeona

"I'd be honoured to attend." He agreed. Before they shortly said their goodbyes and switched the call off. Tae tried to lean back even further into Youngjae's chest as they continued to sit on the bed. He tried to make a slight change to how he was sitting knowing something in his back pocket was making it uncomfortable.

"Please stay." She whispered thinking the movement was him trying to leave. Her eyes were shut as she began to relax.

"I'm not going anywhere, I'm just sat on my keys." He replied feeling as she had continued to relax where they were currently sat.

A couple of months had passed and as Taesoul sat in the room with her cousin she looked down at the bridesmaids dress she was wearing. She hadn't been there to try it on when they had first brought it but her cousin knew her measurements, somehow, and was able to get her the size she required. The dress was a beautiful lavender colour with lavender coloured flowers on the netting making it a long sleeved dress. The dress was very form fitting hugging to the little curves she had, but it was possibly one of the prettiest bridesmaid dresses she had seen in a long time. Her hair was pulled into a low bun with a few pieces framing her face. She felt amazing, and thought she looked good, but nowhere near as good as her cousin looked.

The white dress her cousin wore was exquisite. She had made it to that fitting her cousin begging she was there wanting the opinion of her 'younger sister'. The dress had been expensive but seeing it on Tae knew why. She really did look amazing. She approached her cousin and wrapped her arms around her from behind.

"You look amazing Ye-ah. Truly the most beautiful cousin." Tae spoke watching her cousin through the mirror as the two girls made eye contact.

"Please we both know the most beautiful one of us is the idol in the room. And think about it, soon we'll be switching positions." Yeona teased the younger girl.

"Me married, I'm not so sure." Tae responded her head resting on her cousins shoulder.

"Please that man is going to see you and want to propose right away." Yeona preached

"Very funny Ye-ah, you know the industry. That will probably never happen." Tae spoke before letting the girl go as the maid of honour approached with the bouquet for the ceremony. She couldn't remember much of the walk down the aisle but she found her eyes glued to one person as she walked and when she sat down in her designated seat, her eyes may have moved to the people in the ceremony but his eyes did not leave her.

Youngjae had his eyes on Taesoul from the moment she had walked into the room. His eyes racked up and down her figure as he took a moment to take in the way the dress looked on her. He found his thoughts not being pure as he initially thought only of her. Until he realised where he was and tried to sort this thoughts out. But he couldn't deny she looked like a straight up goddess as she walked down the aisle. The way her hair was positioned, to the way she smiled and walked with a pep in her steps. She was very happy at a wedding and it got him thinking to whether she would be even happier at her own wedding. Her own wedding with him.

And these thoughts did not leave him as the happy couple said their 'I do's' and then made their way out of the door towards the green in front of the building.

"Holy fuck I want to marry her." Youngjae mumbled to himself as he watched her from behind again. The photos were currently of the bridal party and he watched as the girls took some really sweet photos together. But it seemed as though the '97 line curse kicked in for Tae as she organised the next couple of very random and slightly bizarre looking photos which resulted in the group of woman laughing. Especially when she got them to lift Yeona up and tried to carry the bride before giving up.

The photo session was still continuing as the family lined up to have their photo taken. This meant that the remaining guests of which were friends and those who were not biologically related to the newlyweds stood to the side waiting. Though before they had their photos taken he heard his own name being called.

"Youngjae, come and get involved." Came the voice of Yeona, and he found his head snapping to look at the bride. His eyes scrunched together in confusion though with her consistent beckoning he found himself walking over to the family. When he passed the bride on his way towards the face he knew best she reached out and tapped on his shoulder.

"You're basically one of us now." She had spoken which made the tips of his ears turn a pinkish colour but he was saved from more embarrassment when Taesoul broke from her place in the line and walked over to him. Taking his hand in her own she pulled him back to where she was stood earlier on, and he stood behind her his hands resting on her hips as he used the height he had over her to ensure that he could see the camera, and the camera could see him.

Soon enough the family photos were done and others were being taken. The two idols were stood together, one of his hands still on her hip as they stood facing each other. They were talking about the ceremony they had just witnessed and anything else as the many photos were taken behind them. A figure soon approached the pair, and when they turned to look to see who it was, it was not who the pair were expecting. Rather than one of the guests or the newly weds, it was instead the photographer.

"I was wondering if you would like your photo taken together?" The photographer asked his hands on the camera already assuming the couple would agree. The two idols locked eyes communicating non-verbally for a moment or two.

"We would love it." Youngjae spoke for the pair as they started to move as to face the photographer.

"No stay like that for a second." They were instructed, the pair being used to following the directions of the photographer knew how to respond. And as Youngjae brought his other hand up from where it lingered by its side to Taesoul's cheek and they locked eyes again, the faint sound of the camera flash going off was heard. They heard another click which could have been assumed to be the sound of the camera going off without the flash was heard next.

"You can turn to look at the camera now." The photographer directed watching the two slowly break apart and turn towards the camera. His left arm went around her waist pulling her into his side as she held the bouquet of flowers she'd had since the ceremony in her hands. And as she heard the camera click she found this an opportunity to take a moment and glance at the man stood beside her. She knew a completely different side of him came out whenever the cameras were around. The more confident and idol trained side. And despite this not being the normal side she saw, there was no lie that she thought it was incredibly hot and loved to watch this side. You know just to remember as much of it as possible. But as she stared at him she could feel the click of the camera. And as the photographer thanked them and moved off she continued to stare.

"Like what you see?" Came his sassy response and she could only feel her confidence increase as his head turned so he was looking at her.

"I'd like it more if it was just me and you in our hotel room." The flirtation in her voice thick as she racked her eyes up and down to add to it.

"Holy shit" He let out before the confidence he had came flooding back. He used his grip on her waist to turn them both so they went back to facing each other. In this process they had got incredibly close together though not quite close enough. He tugged her so that they were chest to chest and her arms were back around his neck and his arms back on her hips. "Well someone said we had to attend the reception."

"Oh did they?" she spoke back as the lust they held for one another became more evident in their voices.

"It would be such a shame for one of the bridesmaids to not make it to the reception."

Three weeks had passed since the wedding and true to his thoughts Youngjae had in fact started the plan. He'd gone out with BamBam of all people to pick out the ring. The fellow '97 liner knowing the girls fashion tastes inside and out. Hence he would know the kind of ring she would like best. In the end it was his decision but having someone there who knew her well enough was also a small confidence boost.

Today was the day he was going to do it. He had planned something small, just a little picnic by the lake they spent so much time at. And when the night came around and the atmosphere was just right with the fairy lights he did it. He got down onto one knee.

Taesoul was not one to overthink things. Or she told herself that. But the moment she was looking down at the man she loved more than anything, with a box in his hand and a nervous look on his face, she found her brain fighting her heart. Her heart was screaming at her to say yes. To start her forever with the man of her dreams. But her brain. Her brain was on overdrive.

She couldn't help to think what the company would say. Would they even allow it? What if they said no and made the couple completely break it up. Well she was sure the company wouldn't go to that extent but they may never allow them to marry. But the company was not their main problem. She feared for what the fans would say. What kind of backlash they would get.

The day she saw him cry over the negative comments people had made over their relationship constantly plagued her mind. She couldn't bare to see him upset over what other people were directing towards him. So as she imagined what people could say and her mind focused on his possible reaction her brain seemed to works it way to talking her out of it. She just stood their contemplating. Questioning and as her head and heart fought, she found she no longer had the confidence to look her man in his eyes.

The time of which she stood there must have amounted to almost five or more minutes. This was not a good sign to Youngjae who's face fell as he began to realise what was going on. As tears ran down her face he too found himself tearing up.

"I'm sorry Youngjae, I love you but my answer is no." Taesoul had spoken before she had very quickly spun on her feet and disappeared into the night.

She managed to call a taxi and headed rather back to the dorm hoping he wouldn't try to follow her back. She didn't greet the others when she entered rather confining herself straight into her room. Locking the door behind her to ensure that no-one would disturb her she called the one person she could count on.

Her finger rapidly clicked on the number of her cousin. She knew that the moment she saw her cousins face over facetime she would burst out into tears again. And she did almost instantly.

"Tae-Tae what's wrong?" Came the ever caring voice of Yeona

"I think I've made a horrible, horrible mistake Ye-ah." She sobbed her hands searching for anything which would provide her comfort. Settling on one of her pillows she pulled it into her grasp her arms clinging onto it for dear life.

"A mistake? What happened?" Her older cousin coaxed out of her

"I ruined something perfect, something wonderful. Something which could have been my forever. Because I listened to my stupid brain and talked myself out of it. I was so dumb you should have seen his face. It looked like death. I think I may have legit killed the love of my life" She spoke her words not making much sense to her older cousin. But to Jackson who stood behind the closed door recording the conversation on his phone it did.

"Slow down, a little more information Tae, you're still making no sense." Yeona continued to speak.

"He proposed, he fucking proposed to me. And I was thinking too much about what others would think and say and what would happen if something negative came and he got really really really upset. That I didn't listen to myself. I was so concerned over what others would think and say I didn't listen what I wanted, what I thought and what I want to say." Watching as her cousin let out a gasp. The tears continued to run down Taesoul's face as she waited for another verbal response from her cousin.

"What is it that you want then Tae?"

"I want to marry the love of my life. But I've gone and right fucked this one up." Taesoul spoke though her unknown visitor behind the door slowly slinked himself away. Jackson smiled to himself as he sent the audio file to Youngjae, hoping that this would help the younger male.

"Hey its okay Tae, I'm sure everything will work out jut fine for you two. You guys are suppose to be together, maybe this was not the time for this to happen, but if you are really meant to be like we all think. Then it will happen. A better time will come across and thats when it'll happen. " Her cousin tried to reassure her though it didn't do much to help the distressed girl and as she continued to mope whilst on the phone. Yeona did as much as she could to cheer the girl up and comfort her though ended up watching her cousin as she essentially cried herself to sleep that night. And when Tae called her again the next morning Yeona was there. Ready to listen, to support the young girl as she tried to desperately avoid any other living form when she left the house that morning.

The younger girl ended up walking around the closest shopping centre. Her eyes casted to the happy couples and the fear remained in her head, that she had just ruined that for herself. She found herself walking into a music shop as her eyes and herself wandered down the aisle. Half an hour or so must have passed before she realised she had probably made a mistake in coming inside. If the records and albums themselves did not remind her of Youngjae and subsequently the face he had the night before hand. She was nearly 100% certain she had seen him inside the shop or someone who reminded her of him at least. And as she scampered away in the hopes to not run into the person she did the exact opposite.

It was like they were both trying to avoid the other and rushing to the door. Therefore, she collided with said person. And yes it was who she thought it was.

"Youngjae" She breathed out, not really knowing how to approach him. Her eyes focused on his face, the dark circles on his face which had not been there the night before. And then she was thinking of the night before again. Her eyes casted down to the floor as she waited. For him to say something or to disappear off. Not that she blamed him.

"Soul" He spoke his voice with a cold edge. And her heart began to hurt more. He had never, never ever called her by her stage name before. Unless it was made into a nickname he hadn't. That was when she really knew she had messed it up. Her eyes still stuck to the floor she made an effort to move away. To leave his presence before she did something in such a public place. he managed to somehow turn her body and move herself to one side and almost away from him. But as she went to take a step and walk away a hand grasped onto her arm halting her movement.

"Don't walk away from me again, please don't walk again." Came his voice the second part of the sentence coming out in a whimper.

"Do you really still want me around?" Her voice came back quietly

"I never want you to go." He breathed back

Another six or so weeks had passed and things had almost gone back to where they were beforehand. Well almost, Youngjae still carried the ring with him everywhere, for that spontaneous moment he got the courage to ask her again. After hearing the audio file he knew, just knew he had to try it again. The only difference was that in their relationship she seemed strange. Like her stare would linger on him and he just wanted to desperately know what was going through her head. Like he had never caught her looking at him this much before. He used to think it may have been something wrong with the way he was dressed, but when he caught it more days than not he was certain he sense of fashion was not that horrid. Like he's even caught her on the day when he legit wore an outfit she had brought for him.

But he decided to shake it off, nothing horrid was coming from it so there was no harm in her looking. Plus it defiantly boosted his ego to know that for some reason she was unable to stop looking at him.

For Tae when she looked at him her mind was on overdrive. Every time she looked at him she found herself thinking that he could have been her fiancé by now. Had she not done what she considered the most stupid thing of her life. The most amazing person to ever exist, legit ever, wanted to marry her. A toad in comparison. And she couldn't find herself able to tear her eyes away. Every single time she looked at him, she saw their future together. Him teaching their children to play the piano, him on their actual wedding day. And that's all she wanted in life.

So when he suggested going to Paris for the weekend she didn't hesitate in agreeing. She was going to honour any moment they got together.

That was how she found herself at the airport a carry on bag in one hand and his hand in the other. They slinked their way through the crowd trying to desperately get past the gates which would mean they had a smaller chance of getting recognised or accosted by the fans. And when they sat down next to each other on the plane the stress of getting there seemed to completely disappear.

Though her fear of flying was almost squashed by his presence, she still did not enjoy the feeling of taking off as she found herself playing with his fingers in an attempt to distract herself. And when she rested her head on his shoulder she was able to find herself relaxing slightly. Though a series of thoughts still plagued her mind.

"I'm sorry Youngjae." She broke the silence

"What do you have to be sorry for baby?" He replied confusion lacing his voice

"That day in the park, I should have never said no." Came her response and he froze. He never thought she would have admitted it to him. But this made his plans for the night even more special. He knew, it was going to work this time.

The landing and drive to the hotel had been rather non eventful. The pair had settled into the room in the hotel, the one bed not scaring the couple. They had shared the bed so many times beforehand anyways. They basically lived together. And as he watched her flop onto the bed he could only find himself smiling.

"Baby." he called out listening as she let out a sign of acknowledgement. "I've got a table for us tonight for dinner at the Eiffel Tower." He mentioned watching her eyes light up. He could remember her mentioning wanting to go to dinner there it must have been months and months ago. She had always loved France and he just knew this was the place of which he would be able to attempt try number two.

Maybe being in the city of love would really help. Though he let out a deep sigh when after half an hour she declared the fact that she needed to start getting ready. He knew she liked to look her best, but she could legit go in her jogging bottoms and his old top, just like she was wearing now, and she would still be the most beautiful woman there. But he allowed her to start getting ready as he took changed into a smart looking pair of trousers and a navy silk shirt. After all navy was the colour of the dress he had seen her pack earlier on. And he high-key wanted to match with her. So as he waited for her he tumbled with the box in his jacket pocket knowing that this time, this time it'll work.

And his breath was taken away the moment she left their room and he really got to see her. The navy off the shoulder, sweetheart neckline dress reached the floor and simply looked divine on her. Her hair was long and wavy and her minimal makeup meant he could still see her natural beauty shine through.

"Oh my" he let out watching as her face suddenly dropped

"Should I change?" Came her response

"No, not at all. You look absolutely stunning. Wow, I don't think I'll be able to take my eyes off you all night." He replied

"Good"

And as he took her hand to get the taxi to the restaurant he was right, he physically could not take his eyes off her.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer" She sassed back at him

"Maybe I will" He spoke back quickly.

The dinner had started off really well, the two feeling more comfortable in a country not of their own to flirt. There was very minimal chance that someone would interrupt. Especially considering the others around them could not understand the two idol's mother tongue. The pair tried and struggled to order their meal in English and when they had eaten, he had paid before they were able to go up and walk around the tower itself.

When they had reached the quietest part he could see for a mile. That was when Youngjae took this moment to give it a second attempt. He faced TaeSoul to look at him. His hands were shaking this time much more than the time beforehand. He had forgotten what he had said the time before and any speech preparation he had done was gone.

"I know I'm persistent and that it has only been a matter of weeks. But I had a alterior motive to bringing you to Paris today, other than to spend time with the love of my life. You see, we have been through a lot in the last couple of months. And since that day I saw you at your cousins wedding, I've been unable to get this off my mind. Unable to look at you and not think about our future. When it will be you walking down that aisle instead of her. And I cant help but want that day to come closer." He started and she reacted to the feeling she had felt once before.

"And I know baby, I know you're scared. But I don't care what others are going to say about us. All I care about is you and me. I understand you were scared that the fans backlash will make me want to back out. But the truth is that I've been thinking of this for so long. So long that I cant really imagine it not happening. I love you and only you. My future is with you and nobody else." He continued watching her carefully as tears once again welled up in her eyes.

"So this time, I'm begging you to listen to your heart and not your head. Will you do the honour of becoming my wife?" he questioned and this time her reply was almost instantly.

"Yes!" She cried in joy bringing him up and into a kiss. And when the ring was placed on her finger, she finally felt complete.

333cyj333  She finally said yes.
