Inked Heart café
Dedicated to my lovely inky_jin
Many people despise winter, while others adore it. Because of the cold, some people despise winter. Some people enjoy winter because it allows them to spend time with family and friends. Many people enjoy the warm drinks they can have while sitting next to the fireplace.
Kim Anshi was lost in thought while watching the city light up at 8 p.m. in New York City and didn't notice her boss, Choi Ha Rin, approaching her until she felt a tap on her shoulder. Anshi's body jolted in surprise because she thought she was alone in the office. I apologize for frightening you, dear. I called your name a few times, but you were probably so deep in thought that you didn't hear me. " Ha Rin laughed before taking a seat at Anshi's desk. I'm sorry, Mrs. Choi, I must have spaced out because I've been so swamped with work. Anshi gave a sluggish smile. "Are you looking forward to returning home?" Ha Rin enquired as she assisted Anshi in packing up her desk. "I am. I've been gone for five years. Now I'm returning as the editor-in-chief of a multibillion-dollar publishing company. I'm living my dream, and I can't wait to run the Korea branch with you as chairman. " Anshi replied as she finished packing and carried the box out of the building with Ha Rin.
"All right, shall we proceed before we miss our flight?" Ha Rin inquired, causing Anshi to laugh while nodding to Ha Rin. Even as they boarded their plane, the ride to the airport was deafeningly quiet. Anshi's thoughts were scattered. She left Seoul to become an editor because she loved writing, but she never imagined returning home. She kept remembering her old neighborhood and how much it must have changed. She couldn't wait to see her family, despite the fact that they talked on the phone all the time and visited her once a year. She also reflected on the person who pushed her to pursue her dream. "Will he remember me at all?" "Has he moved on?" Anshi murmured something to herself. She had arrived in Seoul before she realized it. It began to snow as Anshi and Ha Rin walked towards their cab. Anshi reached out to catch the snow as it brought back memories.
Flashback
"If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome. Meditations Divine and Moral ― Anne Bradstreet" Anshi was startled when she heard a boy's voice from behind her read out the words of the book she was reading. It was Saturday morning, and Anshi was waiting for her friends to arrive at a small cafe near her house where they had agreed to meet to work on their group project. "I'm sorry for disturbing you. I just wanted to give you this," the boy said as he placed a cup of hot coco and a slice of chocolate cake in front of Anshi.
"I'm sorry, but this was not ordered by me." Anshi was perplexed by the items in front of her. "I know, it's on the house. It's colder than usual outside because it's snowing. "I figured you could warm up while waiting for your friends, Anshi." With a smile, the boy responded. "How did you figure out what my name was?" Anshi inquired, raising an eyebrow. "We go to the same high school," the boy replied with a small chuckle. Same first year, just different classes. "My name is Kim Seokjin." Anshi cocked her head to the side as reliaztion struck."Oh, I recognize you." "You are Namjoon's brother." "Yes, I am," Seokjin said, smiling. I'll leave you to your book and return to my work. Enjoy your dessert, and please contact me if you require anything else. " Seokjin walked away as Anshi gazed out the window at the snow while sipping her hot cocoa.
End of flashback
Anshi smiles as she recalls her first encounter with Seokjin. She brushed the snow off her hands and climbed into the cab with Ha Rin. "Has much changed since you left?" Ha Rin inquired as they sat in the cab on their way to the new office. "She's changed a lot, but she's still stunning." Anshi smiled as she gazed out the window at the city. You never told me why you decided to become an editor. You see, I have no choice because I am my father's sole heir. "Can you tell me your story?" Ha Rin inquired, perplexed. "It's because of my first love," Anshi replied before sharing her story with Ha Rin.
Flashback
"Do you ever go a day without reading or writing?" While sitting next to Anshi, Seokjin inquired. They've known each other for two years and have grown close. It was a hot summer day when Seokjin asked Anshi to meet him at their favorite ice cream shop. "Nope, Jinnie, you know how much novels mean to me," Anshi replied before stealing a bite of Seokjin's chocolate ice cream before devouring her butterscotch ice cream. Seokjin laughed at how adorable she was. "What are you reading right now, Anshi?" She sighed and rested her head on his shoulder. "Jinnie, we're going into our senior year of high school, and I have no idea what I want to be." Seokjin nodded, "How about creative writing or editing?" he asked, moving some of her hair away from her face.
Anshi exclaimed in surprise. " Do you think I'll be able to make it? But I'm not even that talented "With a pout on her face, Anshi said. "Never undervalue yourself. You are incredible, and I have faith in you. You also have me to push you forward "Seokjin gave her a smile, which she returned. "So, how about you? What are your plans after high school?" As she finished her ice cream, Anshi inquired. Because I enjoy cooking and baking, I'm taking over my family's cafe. I'm even considering renaming it "Seokjin responded with a proud expression. "Please don't call it worldwide handsome." As Seokjin's smile faded, Anshi laughed. "Why not? It's a good name, after all." With a sad expression, he said.
"Come on, name it something meaningful to you." Anshi rose to follow Seokjin out of the store. "Hmm, something close to home. "What about Inky Jin?" Seokjin inquired, holding the door open for Anshi. "How come that name?" Anshi was perplexed. "Inky is for you because you enjoy writing, Jin is for me" Seokjin explained. "No, no, don't call it that." It's strange. "Are you paying attention?" Anshi yelled as she chased after Seokjin, who wasn't paying attention and was running away like a child playing with their parents.

"And then what happened?" As they got out of the cab, Ha Rin inquired. "We started dating, and he encouraged me to pursue my studies." He majored in business, while I majored in literature. He advised me to accept a job in New York. We agreed to marry if both of our dreams came true and I returned home. Are you starving? "I know a cafe nearby," Anshi inquired, as if she had said nothing significant. "WHAT?" Ha Rin yelled in surprise. "That's fantastic news, Anshi. Are you planning on marrying him? What if he changed his mind? "What if he doesn't recognize you?" Ha Rin bombarded Anshi with inquiries.
Anshi and Ha Rin entered the small cafe, which had a cozy, warm atmosphere. The walls were white and grey marble, and the furniture was black with various shades of brown. It was a very friendly group of people that anyone would enjoy. "He hasn't moved on or forgotten about me," Anshi said lovingly. "How did you find out?" Ha Rin asked, her head cocked to the side. Anshi indicated the cafe's name. "His brother claimed that this was his cafe. He named it Inked Heart Cafe because he said my writing etched myself into his heart "Anshi laughed before being served dark chocolate cake and hot cocoa.
"Excuse me, sir," Ha Rin said, "we didn't order this." "I know, it's on the house. "Hello, Love, I've missed you." A man's voice was heard before Ha Rin gasped at how attractive he was. "Thank you very much, Mr." Before reading the man's name tag, Ha RIn thanked him and exclaimed, "SEOKJIN?" Ha Rin was laughed at by Anshi and Seokjin. "I'm finally home." Anshi smiled as she stood up, embracing Seokjin as he kissed her. They were finally together and eager to begin their lives together.
