8.0 I Said What I Said

Lily Owens sat in the living room of her suite in between Aisha and Musa as Terra told them about her encounter with her father. "He lied to my face." Terra stated, still not able to believe it herself. "Why are they all lying to us?" She questioned her friends.

Aisha looked down at her hands, shrugging. "Maybe they had to. Queen Luna's..." The water fairy made eye contact with Lily. "She seems kind of big on secrets. Whatever's going on, I'm sure they think what they're doing is right."

Musa rolled her eyes. "They always do."

"Then say, 'Terra, I can't tell you.' Don't lie to me." Terra complained. Her family had always been very careful about not keeping secrets from each other.

After Aisha stood up from the couch, she began to pace. "So, he made Miss Dowling something with Vessel Stones, right?" Lily nodded her head. "And the point of Vessel Stones is to read magic, which is what they were doing at the assembly. So, dead body, worried adults." The girl concluded, causing Lily to furrow her eyebrows, not following.

"What if they think a fairy killed Callum?" Musa added.

Aisha nodded, turning towards Terra. "A fairy at that assembly."

Lily sat straighter in her seat, finally beginning to understand. "They were on edge after, so they clearly didn't find them."

As soon as Lily finished talking, the doors to the suite opened, and Sky entered, looking around. "Guys, is Bloom here?" He questioned the girls, obviously nervous.

Aisha crossed her arms over her chest as the other girls stood up. "Did Silva tell you what was happening today? He must have."

Sky's expression dropped, not understanding her. "Is this the suite drama Bloom was talking about?"

Lily let out a giggle. "It's a good thing you're cute, because you don't catch on quick." She patted his shoulder softly.

"There is no suite drama." Musa explained.

Sky, who was a little hurt by Lily's statement, began to scratch the back of his neck. "Okay, I'm so lost right now."

"Dowling's assistant died, and the faculty think a fairy did it." Terra began. "So they held the assembly to find out which fairy, but they didn't because clearly he or she wasn't there, so now we don't believe or trust literally anyone." Lily's eyes widened as Terra said all of that in almost one breath.

The blonde stared blankly at the four fairies in front of him before the realization hit him. "Shit." He gasped. "Beatrix."

Lily opened her mouth slightly. She had always thought something was up with that girl, but she pushed it aside, assuming it was simply jealousy. Sky grabbed onto the flower fairy, and the two rushed back towards his dorm. "Why are you bringing me?" Lily groaned as she followed Sky.

"You're the only one who's going to get any answers out of Riven."

The girl shook her head. "That's assuming he knows anything." She let out a sigh before continuing. "I don't think he would be okay with something like that. He's not that kind of person."

As soon as the two reached Riven and Sky's dorm, Sky burst through the door, seeing Riven sitting on the couch. The boy sat straight up as soon as he saw Lily enter the room. "Lily." He smiled softly. "I thought that you would ne-"

"Where is she?" Sky cut him off as Riven stood up, stepping between the broken up couple.

Riven furrowed his eyebrows. "Who?"

Sky glanced back at Lily before answering his best friend. "The unstable sex addict who's been leading you around by your dick." Riven let out a scoff. "Where is she?"

The brunette leaned to his side. "I don't know. Beatrix isn't surgically attached to me." He shrugged. "Why?"

"I'm looking for Bloom." Sky answered him, causing Riven to send him a motion to stop talking. "Beatrix was the last person who was with her-" Sky continued, comply ignoring Riven's gestures.

"Seriously?" Lily's eyes widened as Stella entered the room from the bathroom. "I sent you, like twenty texts, and you're running around looking for bloom?" The light fairy whimpered, making her way towards Sky.

The brunette crossed her arms over her chest. "Not everything is about you, Stella." The girl snapped causing Stella to frown. "Bloom could be in serious trouble right now, so sorry that we don't really care about your mommy issues."

Riven let out a chuckle as the words left Lily's mouth. "Excuse me?" Stella raised an eyebrow.

"I said what I said." Lily nodded her head. "You have some kind of victim complex, and it's really fucking pissing me off."

Sky sent his best friend a look, and Riven nodded, grabbing Lily's arm. "I think it's time to leave the two alone." Riven stated, pulling Lily out of the room.

As the door closed behind them, Lily pushed her ex-boyfriend away. "Don't touch me." Lily frowned, looking down at the ground.

"Lily, please let me talk."

"No, you dick."

"Please, I'm so fucking sorry, Lily." The boy cupped Lily's cheeks with his hands, desperately trying to apologize. "I didn't think there was a chance in hell that you would ever take me back."

Lily finally looked up at him, a tear falling down her cheek. "Yeah, then I guess we were both wrong about things. Like how I was wrong for thinking about us getting back together."

Riven shook his head, the pad of his thumb brushing away the tear. "No, baby. I love you. You know that." The girl gently pushed away his hands.

"No, I don't. Not after that." Lily glanced down at the ground. "I don't see how you can love someone and treat them like that."

Later that evening, Lily had found her friends. They told her that Beatrix had taken Bloom, but the school had caught them, brining Beatrix into custody. As the four fairies stood outside of Alfea, watching the guards reenter the school with the two fairies, Lily felt Terra take her hand. "I love you, Lils." The earth fairy spoke softly, causing Lily to look down at her. "You've had a real fucked up week, and I'm sorry for that. I'm sorry that we've all been too occupied with Bloom's problems to even care about yours."

Lily nodded, pressing her lips to Terra's hand. "It's okay, Terra. I get that Bloom's is more life or death than mine is." The two fairies chuckled as they watched a guard exit one of the black SUVs.

They opened the door to the backseat, and Bloom stepped out, obviously pissed off. Terra wrapped her arms around the redhead, with all of the other girls following in suit. Lily was the first to pull away, noticing Miss Dowling stepping out of the front seat of the other black SUV. Mr. Silva quickly opened the backseat door and escorted Beatrix out of the car.

"We were so worried about you." Aisha spoke to Bloom, with Lily's focus still on the air fairy.

Musa nodded. "Yeah. Legit freaking out."

Terra's eyebrows furrowed. "What did that bitch do?" She questioned.

Bloom shook her head. "Nothing. She's not some monster." The redhead snapped.

Lily finally looked away from Beatrix. "I mean, I wouldn't say she did nothing." Bloom cocked her head to the side, confused. "She did kill Callum."

"Who told you that?" Bloom interrogated Lily.

"Dowling, Silva, Harvey." Lily listed off the teachers.

Bloom let out a scoff. "Well, do you have proof?"

Aisha cocked an eyebrow, looking between her friends. "Why would they say it if it wasn't true."

"You never know why people really do things." Lily rolled her eyes at Bloom's response, and she noticed. "Lily, just because she's fucking the boy you love doesn't mean she's a terrible person." The girl stepped backwards and felt Musa's arms wrap around her, hugging her.

"Bloom, that's fucked up." Musa spat, her hand rubbing Lily's back.

Bloom crinkled her nose before trying to walk past the girls. Aisha stopped her before speaking. "Maybe we should go in and get some rest."

Bloom ran her fingers through her hair. "You guys go. I'll meet you there."

The girls made their way back into the school, and Terra was obviously upset. "Terra, can you please just let it out. You're killing me right now." Musa whined, being able to feel Terra's emotions.

"My dad lied to me today." Terra groaned, looking back at her friends. "Like legit lied. When I called him out on it, he acted like it was for my own good. They all did." The girls stopped walked, listening to the girl speak. "I don't are how they justify it. You don't lie to the people you care about. Not if they matter."

Musa's eyes lit up as Terra started to walk again, and she grabbed her arm, stopping her. "I have something to tell you." Terra looked back at her roommate, her eyebrows furrowing. Musa glanced at Lily, and she knew it was about Sam. Lily nodded. "A while ago, I met this guy, and I like him like a lot, but I didn't know how you'd react, so I didn't tell you, and it's been weeks." Terra looked between the two girls before Musa continued. "I'm dating your brother."

The girl sighed before Terra chuckled and wrapped her arms around her, hugging her. "Thank you for telling me." Terra giggled, pulling away from the hug. "God, I really needed that. Even if you do have terrible taste. Sam's-"

"Objectively attractive?" Musa cocked an eyebrow, cutting her friend off.

"Well, actually, the spitting image of my dad when he was that age." Musa looked to Lily, and she nodded, confirming what Terra was saying. "He lost his hair at eighteen, maybe nineteen. Bald teenagers. Very cool." The girls continued walking back to their suite. "Have fun with that." Terra smirked, looking back at Musa.

As the girls made it to the banister overlooking the courtyard, they noticed many guards carrying out luggage. "Wait, those are Stella's suitcases." Lily frowned, her hands gripping the railing. She quickly rushed back to the suite, the other girls following behind her. The door was open, and Stella's side of the room was completely empty.

Holy crap! I am so sorry that I haven't updated in so long. I've just been so busy with school and I haven't really had a chance to sit down and write until now. I hope you guys like this chapter though. There wasn't much for Lily and Riven in the episode, so both of the chapters with this episode were kinda fillers.
Please comment what you want to see in future chapters, and do not forget to vote!
Have a nice day, lovelies 💕
