"Jeno, wait!"

Mark tried to stop Jeno from attacking Renjun, but he was already too angry to listen to anyone.

But just as Jeno was about to hit him, Renjun suddenly disappeared. The Gang Stars immediately became fearful of what was unfolding, feeling something familiar with his vanishing act. Seeing Jaemin's lifeless body on the ground only made Jeno more angry, and he punched the nearby table so hard that it went flying through one of the ship's windows.

"Damn it!! Where the hell did you slither off to?!"

Jeno angrily yelled, looking around the room for his brother without moving from where he stood.

"Right behind you"

Renjun suddenly reappeared right behind Jeno, but his malice was enough to turn Jeno's anger into fear.

The older roughly grabbed one of his shoulders, and one of the crimson arms reappeared and punched him clean though his torso as well.

"DAD!!"

Jeongho tried running to save his father, but Jonah quickly grabbed him to stop him.

Jonah was afraid that the same thing would happen to Jeongho, and refused to let the boy get any closer.

"...I.. I'm not dying..just yet.."

Jeno managed to speak up, using Sticky Fingers to trap the crimson arm him his wound.

"...I'm not giving up..without getting a shot in..!"

Jeno yelled, managing to attack Renjun with his Stand, elbowing him in the chest.

"What good will this do for you?"

Jeno didn't answer his question, and attempted to attack him with Sticky Fingers for real this time.

But time suddenly skipped again, and Renjun reappeared in front of him near Jaemin and Sungchan.

"Your efforts are futile. You may be skilled, but you're already dead Jeno"

Renjun spoke, looking back at him as he said those words.

Jeno stilled tried to attack him again, but the moment he took a step, more of his blood spilled and he inevitably fell. He was unable to get back up due to how much blood he had lost, and had no choice but to lay there until he finally died at Renjun's feet.

Before any of them could react, Renjun busted down the ship doors and escaped, taking Jaemin and Sungchan with him.

"We have to go after him! He won't be able to use that power to attack us again if he's trying to get away!"

Tayden insisted, leaving the ship first.

"I'll stay here with Jeno. I'm sure Hoseok-hyung can help him with the fleece, so I'll give BTS a call. The rest of you go after Renjun and Tayden. You have to get Jaemin and Sungchan back"

Doyoung ordered, sticking close to Jeno.

They reluctantly chased after the two while Doyoung stayed behind, seeing when Renjun knocked out Tayden after reaching someone that looked identical to Taeyong.

"So you finally decided to show your face, Boss!!"

Taeyong zoomed past his group with Keyblade in hand, attacking his double.

The Boss had attempted to trick the group by making them think he was Taeyong, but since he was already with them, that part of his plan was foiled. Instead, he quickly defended by unsheathing a red blade from one hand, and then attacked with his Keyblade in the other.

But Jamie quickly swooped in and protected Taeyong by blocking the attack with his Oblivion key, ignoring the fear he felt from being in his old boss' presence again. Chills ran down each of the Gang Stars' spines when time suddenly skipped again, finding The Boss standing with Renjun a few feet away.

"Looks like luck wasn't on my side this time. It seems two little rats were snooping around and ruined everything. I even temporarily bestowed Renjun with part of King Crimson's power, and yet this was still a disaster.."

The Boss spoke, nearly all of them staring with fear as King Crimson stayed floating menacingly beside him in its full form.

"..Tristin...Li"

Tayden spoke, waking up just in time.

Hearing the boy say that name made The Boss freeze and look at the younger with wide eyes.

"..You struck before I could say it earlier, Boss. Your real identity is Tristin Li. Thank you Xinrei. Without you, I would've never figured it out"

All of his teammates immediately realized that they both shared the same surname, but didn't have time to conclude anything.

"Damn it! I'll kill you, you brat!!"

Tristin angrily yelled, attempting to use his Keyblade to end the boy.

But Tayden quickly used one of his own Keyblades to block, and quickly got himself out of the way.

"Soft & Wet!"

Tristin tried to use magic on Tayden, but he used Soft & Wet's bubbles to trap each one, and then immediately popped the bubbles to fire the magic back at him.

Tristin jumped into the air to dodge all of the projectiles, cutting his own hand as he did so.

"King Crimson!!"

He immediately used King Crimson to blind him while erasing time, but Tayden had already used Epitaph beforehand to foresee this and used his Keyblade to create a Dark Barrier to protect himself.

After time skipped, Tayden predicted that Tristin was controlling Renjun. He used his Sentient Releasing power to try releasing Renjun from any control Tristin might've had on him. Afterwards, he used his power as a demigod of healing to heal any injuries that Renjun might've had, as well as Jaemin's and Sungchan's, all without Tristin knowing.

Renjun was very confused and alarmed that Jaemin and Sungchan were dead by his side, and immediately brought them back to life. Afterwards, he noticed that there were two Taeyong's, but he continued to watch the fight despite his confusion, looking for a way to help.

When Tayden and Tristin finally clashed, the boy was finally able to look into his father's eyes for the first time in a while.

'..Father.... It really is you..'

Tayden thought to himself, seeing the hatred in the man's eyes.

"Who the hell are you kid? Where did you crawl out from to get in my way?"

Tristin simply asked who the boy was, noticing how the little head the boy's forehead looked a lot like the little head on King Crimson's forehead.

In that time, Renjun managed to deliver Jaemin and Sungchan to the others safely and quietly. Despite being confused as to why most of his teammates suddenly looked scared of him, he teleported above Tristin to attack him while his guard was down.

Tristin saw the attack coming once Tayden looked up, but was surprised that Renjun was out of his control.

"Damn it..! You bastards!!"

Tristin surprisingly summoned another Keyblade, and quickly used it to block Renjun's.

Everyone was surprised by this, and became even more alarmed when it turned into a whip to trap Renjun, using the other to knock Tayden back into the others below.

He used Dark Barrier to protect himself, and his Honey ability to dull Renjun's senses. Afterwards, he knocked him out with one quick hit to his nape.

"We'll settle things later"

The man opened a portal, attempting to kidnap Renjun.

"You're not taking our dad away from us!!!"

Xinrei lost his temper, and immediately appeared in front of Tristin to take his father back, joined by Nitro and Xinya.

"Give me a break. You three will never be enough to stop me, boy"

Tristin surprisingly summoned yet another Keyblade, that seemingly moved on it's own, and knocked Nitro down to the ground.

He then tried to attack the twins with his first Keyblade, but Robin and Sungmin both jumped in and used their Keyblades to protect them.

"I've got you Nitro! I'm coming!!"

Jean quickly ran over with the new enhanced speed of his legs, and used just about all of his force to jump up to catch Nitro.

Once he caught him, he managed to land safely on the ground and return to his teammates. Tristin tried using his third Keyblade to stab Xinrei from behind, but Jamie jumped in again and protected him, fighting it off himself.

Taeyong rushed over and transformed his Keyblade into a whip to pull Tristin's hand down that he had his whip Keyblade in.

Despite his hand being pulled down, Tristin suddenly became even angrier and completely abandoned his idea of retreating.

He used some of his god of destruction powers to and blast everyone in his range away with just his aura alone. He used his whip Keyblade to fling Renjun towards the portal, but Yuta suddenly appeared behind him and caught the younger, entering the portal with him.

"Bring it on Taeyong!! Let's dance!!"

Tristin began using half of his god of destruction power and attacked Taeyong first.

"You got it Tristin!"

Taeyong began using half of his god of war power and they commenced their one on one battle, until Xinrei joined in while still in a rage.

Robin joined in as well, using his Speed Theft power to help Xinrei by slowing down Tristin's movements, even if it only worked just a little bit. Tristin countered by summoning several huge demon cats, which made only Cassidy tremble with fear. Johnny noticed this, and brought him closer to protect and comfort him.

"I guess we have no choice but to join the fight too now"

Sungchan anxiously admitted.

"We're joining the fight too!"

Jungkook suddenly yelled from afar.

He and the rest of his members came running from the ship to help, including Doyoung and Jeno. Jeno had been healed and revived thanks to Hoseok, and was more than ready to battle.

While they all fought off the cats, Tayden used another one of his three Keyblades to fire poison arrows that hit Tristin.

However, the arrows didn't seem to have any effect on him.

Robin used his Flower Manipulation to create multiple seeds for Wisteria Trees, and used an Aeroga spell to use winds to scatter them around the battle field.

"Xinrei, I'm sorry! Please forgive me for this!"

He apologized to the boy, right before a huge grove of Wisteria Trees bloomed around everyone on the battlefield.

This caused the demon cats to weaken drastically, allowing their teammates to defeat them fairly quickly. But it also calmed Xinrei down, and made them both weaker than before.

"Wrong move Robin. You just gave me the upper hand"

Tristin knew that Robin had weakened himself and Xinrei, and tried to attack them next while still fighting Taeyong.

"Think again Boss"

Minkyu used his Larceny to steal Tristin's second Keyblade, and Johnny got both Xinrei and Robin out of harms way.

Minkyu handed the key to Xinrei who phased his way out of Johnny's arms, charging back to Tristin.

"What the?! Xinrei!"

"Xinrei! What are you doing?!"

Taeyong was caught off guard and Tristin blasted him away, but Tayden's poison arrows finally kicked in and slowed him down drastically.

"Looks like Tayden's attack finally worked"

"You're not getting out of this Boss"

Jaehyun used his God Bind to make sure Tristin stayed put, with a helping hand from Jisung.

The others immediately become alarmed when Yuta suddenly appeared beside them, with Renjun nowhere in sight. Tristin still managed to move despite their efforts to contain him, and tried to use his first Keyblade to attack Xinrei from afar.

"Don't even think about it"

Junsung used his Chaos ability to create chains from the ground that pulled his arms down, and kept his feet in place.

Nitro also used his staff to help Jaehyun and Jisung keep him in place as well. Minkyu took his third Keyblade and threw it in Xinrei's direction. Xinrei then travelled to a different dimension, and the Keyblade ended up hitting Tristin. The boy wasn't surprised when Renjun met up with him in the other dimension, charging at Tristin from the other side. Right when they both made contact with him, they returned to their dimension to finish the attack, both ending up on either side of Tristin.

He dropped the only Keyblade that he had left in hand, and all three of them dematerialized. Jaehyun, Junsung, Nitro, and Jisung let him go, and Xinrei re-summoned one of his own Keyblades to hold him up alongside Renjun.

"You're done for Boss"

Xinrei frowned, both him and his father pointing their keys at the man.

"I'm not...giving up that easily"

Xinrei sensed that he was about to do something, and immediately looked to Xinya.

She summoned one of her keys once more, and used a Magnega spell to pull him and Renjun towards the rest of them. Donghyuck then quickly used his magic to make a huge multiple layered barrier around them, preventing any attacks from coming through.

Tristin created a portal under himself that would've trapped both Xinrei and Renjun if Xinya hadn't acted fast enough.

"Hmph... We'll meet again soon.. Just you wait..."

Tristin left them with that final statement before he disappeared into the portal.

After making sure he was really gone, Donghyuck took the barrier down and they finally got a chance to breathe.

"Are all of you alright?? None of you are fatally hurt right??"

Renjun frantically asked, healing everyone as he spoke.

"We're fine dad, really. But I think we all want to know if you and Yuta-hyung are alright"

Xinrei insisted.

"I had a small pack of smelling salts on me when we went through the portal. I used it to wake Renjun up, and he flew us to safety when we got out of the portal. Before I opened another portal for us to return, I set a marker on the location we emerged to. Right now, I'm currently getting data on that location"

Yuta explained to the group.

"I used my Absolute Unpredictability the moment we returned, and set hyung down with all of you. I joined Xinrei from another dimension to help him finish the fight. But I want to know something, who killed Jaemin and Sungchan??"

"You don't remember hyung..?"

Shotaro asked, worrying Renjun more.

"I don't..."

"Hyung, you killed us"

Sungchan informed the older.

"Me?! But..., why would I..?!"

"Actually, you killed me, Jaemin, Sungchan, Jeno, Donghyuck, Chenle, Jisung, and Jungwoo. You brought all of us back to life after, except for Jeno. Hoseok-hyung helped him with the fleece a few minutes ago"

Mark admitted to the younger.

"I..what...?"

"You really don't remember?? Tristin said he bestowed you with part of King Crimson's power, which would explain why you were able to use his time erasing ability. That may also be why you didn't use Gold Experience when you killed them, or King Crimson's whole body in general. Only its arms were visible"

Taeyong explained.

"So that's why most of you looked scared of me... Guys... I'm so so sorry... I don't even remember doing any of that.. I know you all suffered so much because of my actions, especially you kids..."

"You can't be blamed for this hyung. You were under my father's control..."

Tayden reassured the older, informing him that Tristin was indeed his father.

"This raises another question now though. How the hell did The Boss, I mean...Tristin, take control of Renjun in the first place??"

Yoongi questioned.

"I think I might know when it happened. A few nights before the first deaths occurred, I had woken up and noticed that dad suddenly went missing in the middle of the night. I looked around the HQ for him, and I eventually found him on the floor in the kitchen. When I asked him how he got there, he said that he felt dizzy while getting up to get water, but it must've had something to do with The Boss in that timeframe"

Xinrei revealed to the group.

"Wait... I remember now! I remember The Boss captured me while I was sleeping. I don't know where I was, but it might've been the same place Yuta-hyung and I just escaped from. I remember that I tried fighting him, but he placed something in my ear to stop me..."

Renjun then felt around his earlobe, and miraculously pulled out an invisible earring.

"That's why we couldn't tell that you were under his control! He's somehow able to make his earrings invisible now!"

Lucas exclaimed, just as surprised as the others.

"But, why would it just suddenly stop working in the middle of the fight??"

Jimin inquired, still a bit confused.

"That's right...! Tayden, one of your powers allows you to free anyone from any type of control, doesn't it?!"

Renjun suddenly asked the boy.

"T-That's right hyung. It's called Sentient Releasing. But it only works if I'm aware that someone is under some type of control. It was just a hunch that father was controlling you, but I still used it. And it worked~"

The boy explained.

"I see~. You really helped out big time Tayden~. Thank you so much~"

"Yeah~. Thanks a lot man~"

Xinrei and Renjun both thanked Tayden, causing the boy to finally smile again.

Tayden was especially flustered, having received gratitude from one of his heroes.

"Hey, Renjun-hyung.. A few of us looked into The Boss' thoughts and his background during the fight. We've found out a lot more about who he is"

Jean admitted in the midst of their small celebration.

Now that they all knew his identity, they knew Tristin wouldn't be able to kill them to hide that information anymore.

"...If I may add, I was able to see through his entire past. I'll gladly tell all of you what I saw, but it's not a pretty story.."

Jamie admitted. 

"Come on guys. Let's get back to HQ first, where it's safe"

Renjun advised, returning to his role as his team's trusted and kindhearted leader.

They all happily followed his lead, and as soon as they safely got back inside the HQ, the team looked into all that they knew about Tristin Li, and his tragic story.
