Cassidy was born a fox hybrid, abandoned by his parents at a very young age. They left him to fend for himself, in a world that didn't think too kindly of his kind.

Because of his view on the world that everyone was a nice person at heart, he developed a very trusting attitude towards everyone. But as a result, he refused to fight back against anyone.

Because of this, he faced a much different future than Chenle. He's been abused and raped throughout his younger days, never fighting back or refusing to be fondled with in such a manner. This went on for many years, until one day, he had finally started to have enough of being used.

The more that others continued to use him, the more his rage started to consume him. Eventually, it consumed him so much, that a wire tripped in his head, causing him to lose all of his humanity.

He couldn't contain his rage any longer, and mercilessly killed each and every last person that defiled and hurt him. It may have satisfied some of his rage, but even if it didn't, he couldn't stop himself from killing nearly anyone in his path.

To the common eye, he seemed like he was calm and sane like anyone else, but in reality, he had turned feral and psychotic. His mind raced with nothing but intrusive thoughts, plotting to kill anyone who dared to get close enough to him.

But one day, he came across a slightly older male, named Marshall, and tried to attack him without hesitation. But with just one look, Marshall was able to tame him and he ceased his attack. He took a liking to Cassidy, and brought him back to his home with a mysterious stranger.

They fought together with their other teammates, carrying out the stranger's orders. But on most occasions, Cassidy would fly off the handle and kill people without Marshall's consent.

Eventually, Marshall gifted him an electric muzzle, to ensure that he wouldn't kill anyone without his consent again.

Each time Cassidy came close to getting out of line, Marshall would use the muzzle to shock him and make him obey.

Eventually, it got to the point where Cassidy obeyed him without having to use the muzzle as much. He followed Marshall's commands, and only killed when he said to kill.

But, each time he was shocked, a piece of his humanity returned to him, snapping him out of his own power's control and regaining himself. However, this also brought back his sense of fear.

Soon, he didn't want to kill anymore, yearning to live a happy, normal life. But, now he lived in fear, thinking that if he didn't kill to survive, he'd end up being weak and manipulated, leading to his death.

However, he found a home within Marshall. The older took care of him and made him feel safe, never letting anyone come close to harming him. He decided to keep on pushing, fighting and killing to stay alive, and to protect Marshall.

Cassidy stayed, only to fulfill his own wishes, to remain with his friend, and to stay protected under the stranger. He began his new life, under the direct tutelage of The Boss.
