Everyone started fighting back against the zombies. At the start of the fight, Chenle grew in size again, to completely tower over the army.

Thanks to Luoyang, she not only restored him to his normal size, but also granted him the ability to change his size at will.

With his towering size, he helped everyone a lot with destroying large groups of the zombies, until he came across the Colossal Undead Twin Mage.

"You guys! That mage is the one controlling the zombie army! I'm gonna take it down!"

"Count us in Lele!"

Jimin exclaimed.

He, Wooyoung, and Key accompanied him on his shoulders to help take it down. Key glided ahead once they got close enough, and attacked it with magic and aerial attacks.

"Let's go, Kurama!"

Wooyoung jumped off of Chenle's shoulder and summoned Kurama, landing on its head once it appeared.

Kurama and Chenle worked together to deal bigger blows to the mage, each attacking one head.

However, the mage used magic to summon more zombies that were as big as them. The zombies immediately went for Chenle, and tried to bite him after the mage used more magic to bind him.

However, after Jimin grew larger in size, he and Kurama worked together to take the zombies down, and Key destroyed the mage's staff and burned her spell book in the same instance.

"Now we can take it down!"

Chenle, Jimin, and Kurama worked together and finally destroyed the mage, with one final blow of their combined strengths.

But to their surprise, the army of zombies were still fighting.

"Guys! I figured it out! The kind of spell that the mage used lets the zombies persist even after it's defeated! We have to take all of the zombies out to get rid of them!"

Donghyuck informed them.

"That's no problem at all. You guys aren't tired right?"

"Nope~"

"Not in the slightest"

"Kurama and I are having a blast~"

"Great. But how long will our stamina last. I can't see an end to this sea of zombies"

"Lele is right! Who knows how long it'll take to defeat all of them!"

"Mustard leaf!"

San And Yeo One expressed their concerns.

But soon, they all saw a huge flash of light coming from the dome, as well as the energy swarming around the band on top. The music and their singing became louder and the energy began to collect itself together in front of them as they sang the second pre-chorus.

That energy formed a black hole, and when they sang the second chorus, the hole turned into a massive barrage of energy beams that scattered in different directions.

The beams avoided all of their allies and locked on to only the zombies, destroying each and every one that crossed their path.

Everyone stopped fighting and listened to the band, while watching as the zombies were coming to an end. It wasn't long at all until the last zombie was dead and gone.

After they were all defeated, the beams disappeared as the band finally got to the end of the song.

"Bravo~. Bravo~"

"I would've never suspected that they'd perform Never Turn Back!"

"That was such a genius move~!"

Everyone gave them a round of applause as Donghyuk put their instruments away.

"You guys were right on the money. Never Turn Back was an amazing choice"

"I'll say! That was just as good as the original, better even!"

Donghyuk and Jaemin praised the three kids.

"We told you not to underestimate the power of Sonic games and their soundtracks"

"We used to practice that song together back at home~"

"I guess it finally paid off for something important~"

The five happily talked amongst themselves as they made their way back to the others below.

As they were making their way down, everyone was alarmed by Junsung suddenly being lifted up into the air, when they couldn't see anything around.

"Junsung!"

Jisung and Xuefen tried to get him down from where he was floating at.

But before they reached him, they suddenly got smacked right back down to the ground.

Thankfully, Chenle easily caught them as he was still in his massive size.

"I see what's going on! We completely missed one of the zombies! Not only is it huge, it's also invisible!"

Key informed them, being able to see the zombie by the frequencies it gave off.

"Damn it! The beams had no effect because we couldn't see it!"

"Don't worry! I think I can get loose!"

Junsung tried using his Molecular Vibration power to make the zombie release him.

But the effort only resulted in the zombie squeezing him harder, making Junsung yell out in pain.

Everyone tried attacking it, but none of their attacks did anything to the zombie.

Eventually, Junsung's screams grew silent, and his body went limp as the zombie continued to squeeze him tighter.

But before Jisung could act out of desperation to save his son, everyone suddenly saw a glowing sphere of darkness zoom out of the ship and towards the zombie.

Once it got close enough, the sphere of darkness dissipated to reveal Renjun hurtling towards the zombie, with a Keyblade in hand.

"Zantetsuken!"

Renjun slashed the zombie a single time faster than everyone could see, landing safely on the ground afterwards.

After a couple seconds, the zombie let go of Junsung as it faded away. Upon being released, Junsung managed to wake himself up and also landed safely.

"What..?! A Keyblade?!"

Everyone saw Renjun's Keyblade, but Jaemin was the most shocked by it.

He ran over to him with Xinrei and Nitro to see if he was alright and to question him about it. But before they could reach him, the Keyblade disappeared and Renjun passed out again before collapsing to the ground.

Xinya, Xuefen, and Junsung immediately joined the other three to see about Renjun, being careful not to crowd around him.

"Hyung must've woken up while we were fighting, and watched what was happening. He suddenly summoned that Keyblade out of the will to save Junsung when none of us could, even if he didn't have all of his strength back.."

Jaemin picked him up and teleported to the ship to lay him down again to rest, rejoining the others afterwards.

"So.., I know it's a bit of a tender moment, but I wanna say something"

Everyone gave Hanbin their undivided attention.

"You all proved yourself to a T in proving that we're on the same side. Seeing Renjun here just proved that fact even more. So, we'll gladly join you on your journey, and help you save your world"

"Glad to hear it. You ready to go then? We have one more group to find here on Aerus before we head to the next planet"

"Yeah. We're ready. The sooner we get off planet, the better"

With their new companions added to their team, everyone finally boarded the ships and set off to find Day6.
