Shawol City of the Clouds

Xinrei and his ever growing crew landed their ships in one of the landing areas of Shawol City, and they all departed to find SHINee.

While walking up to the biggest palace in the city, Xinrei spotted someone floating in the sky. He pointed him out to everyone else, and they all saw him too.

The mysterious person noticed that they could all see him, and he silently lead them to the palace. They ran after him and soon made it to the front entrance.

The person flew inside, fazing right through the door. Before they entered, they found a lonesome plushie sitting on the ground by the door.

Xinya took a liking to it, and takes it with them inside the palace.

Upon entering, they immediately found four out of five members of SHINee: Taemin, Key, and Minho stood together, waiting for them to come in. And Jonghyun joined them, landing on the ground after seeing that everyone made it inside.

"Welcome to our palace everyone. We've been expecting you. Jonghyun informed us that you all were able to see him, so we know that none of you are any of the possessed heroes"

Minho greeted them.

"Why wouldn't we be able to see him??"

Xinrei questioned.

"Only those with good intentions and righteous hearts can see me. I died in battle a long time ago, but I came back to life as a ghost because of my power, only able to be seen by those with good intentions and righteous hearts. My power is called Possession. I can possess or take over the body of any living being, whether sentient or not, by stealing their motor functions and senses. Now that I'm an actual ghost, I can use my power more efficiently without worrying about dying again~"

Jonghyun explained.

"We already know everything that happened, and we know why you're here"

The plushie suddenly spoke.

It jumped out of Xinya's hands, and immediately shifted into SHINee's fifth member: Onew.

"You guys can consider us recruited. We know that you're all probably tired from your journey. So, feel free to rest for as long as you'd like before we move on"

He added.

Despite Xinrei having a bad feeling, he couldn't deny that he and his team were very tired, so they all agreed to rest with them.

"That's good to hear. I'm going to make everyone dinner. You all just sit tight and feel free to look around"

"I'll help you"

Onew and Key ventured off to the kitchen.

But everyone noticed that Key didn't open the door, even though he was the first to get to it. And they noticed that he nearly bumped into it too, even though he was looking right at it.

Onew opened the door for both of them, and they both ventured down the hall to the kitchen.

"Is he alright?"

Xinrei questioned out of concern.

"He's fine. Key-hyung was born blind. He can only see through vibrations and frequencies around him, including heartbeats"

Minho explained.

"He can't see inanimate objects that don't produce sounds on their own, including doors and walls. He could only see the door after Onew opened it, because of the small creak that it made once he opened it"

Taemin added.

Xinrei took note of this, and felt that there was no need to worry about if he went into battle with them. If he can see through vibrations and frequencies, then he can easily see enemies and projectiles coming for him.

Everyone then scattered into different directions, most of them making their way to the kitchen.

The Next Evening

Everyone agreed, per Xinrei's request, to rest for two days and then depart, meaning that they would leave the next day.

The only ones in the turtle were Junsung, Xuefen, Sungmin, Suyun, Minkyu, and BamBam and Chanyeol, who were sleeping with them. Everyone else hung out outside of the turtle, or just slept in the city's sleeping quarters.

Xinrei decided to hang out with Jeongho, Xinya, and Key in one of the palace's hang out spots.

"So, what was life like on Ethora before the attack?"

Key asked the three kids.

"I loved how pretty and peaceful the planet was, but I used to get teased and bullied at school"

"I liked how we had plenty of heroes to protect our home and ensure that everyone had a peaceful life"

"I never got to hang out with dad much, and I constantly got arrested for protecting Xinya from those damn bullies.. But otherwise, it was nice"

"I see... As for me and my team, life was amazing before Jonghyun-hyung died. He died around the time Renjun saved our worlds. We were fighting for our world, but we lost Jonghyun-hyung in the process. We were so heartbroken that we halted our hero work for a while. We had a funeral for him and everything, but it took us a few months before we finally decided to resume our hero work. But, one day a year later, I saw him. Of course I thought that I was just seeing things, especially since I'm blind. But, then the other members saw him too, as a ghost and in the flesh. Apparently, he came back to life somehow because of his ghost-like power that he had even before he died. Maybe that's why I'm able to see him, despite my condition. His frequencies and vibrations must lie in a different plane. Because of his power, he's the only one that I can actually see even without relying on those techniques"

"I see..."

"But why did it take him so long to come back?"

"Our battle took place on the other side of this planet, so it took him an entire year to find his way back home. Jonghyun-hyung followed the moon, since it circles around the planet particularly fast each night, and he eventually made it back here to Shawol City and reunited with us. Life became so much better once he returned to us, but listen to me when I say this"

The kids made sure to listen closely to his next words.

"It's important to cherish everyone around you before they're gone, because they might not come back like hyung did"

The three kids took that to heart and thanked him for the advice.

"By the way, be sure to protect those that matter to you with all of your hearts. If you do, you might just be rewarded for your efforts, whether with gifts and love from others, or with something like this"

Key then stood up, and made a unusual Keyblade materialize in his hand.

"Is that a Keyblade?!"

"That it is. This particular kind of Keyblade is called an Ultima Weapon. It's a very powerful kind of Keyblade that's usually made by synthesis means, but I summoned this one from the strong will of my own heart"

"How did that happen hyung???"

"Well, there are these creatures called the Heartless, the most common of them being called Shadows. One day when we were younger, a swarm of them called a Demon Tower attacked us. They defeated the other members and were about to hurt Taemin, who didn't have his power at the time. But without thinking of my own safety, I jumped in to save him. Then, this Keyblade appeared in my hand to fight off those Heartless. I was rewarded this ability to wield a Keyblade for saving Taemin without any regards for what might've happened to me. This Keyblade, my Ultima Weapon D, was formed from wanting to save Taemin with all of my heart, even with my condition"

"But why do you call it Ultima Weapon D?"

Jeongho questioned, trying to get a full understanding.

"The D stands for 'Darkness'. I'm only able to see through vibrations and frequencies. Without out them, I can only see darkness. The D represents my ability to act and see with the darkness. I utilize the darkness I'm given to protect those that I care about. With that being said, you should all use the circumstances you're given to aid you, even if it may seem impossible"

"..."

The three kids were left speechless, but they took those words to heart.

However, Xinrei immediately got another bad feeling, stronger than the night before. Not even seconds later, they heard a loud bang from outside that sounded like something huge hit the ground.

Jeongho used his Air Connon to shoot a shockwave at the wall to destroy it. The four of them made their way outside and onto the roof, and found an enormous gorilla beating its chest and roaring.

"Is that King Kong?!"

"No... That's Uncle Chenle.."

They soon hear another bang in the distance, and spot a huge plume of blue flames coming from another end of the palace.

"Those are Yuta-hyung's flames.. Where are the others??"

Jeongho mumbled.

"They must be caught under all of that debris and rubble from when Chenle landed. We've got to stop them ourselves"

Key informed them.

Chenle ripped the roof off of the building the flames came from and reached inside to grab Yuta, and Shotaro and Doyoung started shooting at him while riding on top of Dragonite and Hydreigon.

Doyoung and Hydreigon ended up getting swatted away by Chenle, so Shotaro quickly called Hydreigon back into its Pokéball and caught Doyoung on Dragonite's back.

Xinrei, Xinya, Jeongho, and Key made their way over to attack Yuta from above, and soon realized that Yuta had the turtle with the kids in it. But as soon as they realized that Hendery was there with him it was too late, except for Xinrei.

Hendery used his Stand to speed up the flow of time for his team, which in turn caused regular time to be slow for everyone else. This allowed Chenle to pick up Yuta and Hendery, Yuta opened up a huge warp gate for them to go into, and Chenle walked to it.

However, they were caught by surprise when Xinrei zipped right up to them and destroyed Chenle's earring before disappearing again.

Chenle collapsed just inches away from the  portal and changed back to his normal self, but he didn't shrink back to the size he was before.

Yuta and Hendery tried to run to the portal, but Xinrei zipped past them again and destroyed Yuta's earring as well. The portal disappeared as he collapsed on top of Chenle. Hendery was able to dodge him just in time, but Xinrei attacked his Stand like he planned which made time return to normal.

YangYang managed to free himself from the rubble he was under, and since he was the closest to them, he increased his blood pressure to quickly attack Hendery from behind. This in turned made him fall to the ground and drop the turtle.

Xinrei reappeared and made his way to the turtle to catch it, but right when Hendery dropped the turtle, he summoned his Knight's Halberd and threw it at Xinrei. It pierced him through his back and through his shoulder and sent him flying to the ground near some of the others.

Despite this, YangYang still destroyed his earring right after he threw the Halberd. But unfortunately, the turtle ended up falling into in cloud void of the planet, and a blue beam suddenly shot up from within the clouds where it landed.

When the beam disappeared, the turtle was gone.

Before doing anything else, those that were free helped everyone else out of the debris and rubble. Afterwards, they tended to Chenle, Yuta, Hendery, Xinrei, and anyone else that was injured.

They carefully removed the Halberd from Xinrei, and quickly took him and the others to the ship to heal them. As for Chenle, they couldn't figure out why he hadn't changed back to his normal size, but they still did their best to heal him anyway.

"We gotta go after the turtle... The kids were inside.. We gotta go save them now..."

Xinrei insisted as he was being healed.

"We can't. Everything that falls into this planet's clouds is teleported to a random world. We have no way of finding out which planet the turtle ended up on"

Onew sadly informed him.

"No......"

"Actually, we might have a way"

Donghyuck spoke up.

"Right before the turtle fell into the clouds, I cast a spell on it that can help me track it down. Based on the course that the beam was going, the turtle will most likely end up on Earth, but I have to wait until it stops to find out the exact location"

"Since the ship is refueling, the only way to get to Earth fast enough is by a portal. Since Yuta-hyung is the only one here with the ability to make portals, we have to wait until his energy is restored after he wakes up before we can go after them"

Jeno added.

"Wait. BamBam and Chanyeol-hyung were in the turtle sleeping with the kids. They'll be able to protect them until we can rescue them"

Jaebum recalled.

Xinrei was still very sad and worried about the kids, but Xinya helped calmed him down enough for him to rest until later.
