Back at Force 127 HQ

After a while, Zhenya, Xinyi, and Noir made it to Force 127's HQ, and met Nitro and TXT on the rooftop.

"I'm so glad that you guys made it here safely~"

Nitro hugged the three of them, and they returned his affections.

"We see that you've made some new friends. This should make your mission much easier"

Zhenya smiled and pulled out a tiny box.

He showed Nitro the box, revealing the gummies they had previously talked about over the phone.

He gave Nitro one of the gummies and explained to him to give it to Renjun and make sure that he eats it, and that once he eats it his new power will activate immediately.

"The three of us will keep watch and fight off any of the heroes that might spot us. The rest of you go on ahead"

Xinyi informed them.

Before they could go inside, Noir grabbed Nitro's hand to stop him.

"Nitro... Please make sure that Renjun makes it out alright... Everyone back home are worried sick about him..."

"I promise. You guys can rest easy. We'll save him for sure~"

"...Good"

Noir let him go, and Nitro and TXT made their way inside.

Once they stepped inside, all of TXT changed back into their spirit forms to make things easier.

Luckily for them, all of the Gang Stars were asleep, so navigating Nitro through the HQ was made easy. After a short while, they made it to his bedroom.

They found Renjun sleeping inside of a mysterious pod, bandages where his amputated arms were.

Unfortunately, they also found Robin on standby mode in a chair nearby.

TXT quietly examined the pod while Nitro got closer to Robin to try and mess with his cpu. But the moment he was about to touch Robin, he immediately woke up to see Nitro in front of him.

Nitro froze in place and started shaking, but to his surprise, Robin didn't attack him and just rested his hand on his shoulder.

"Relax. I'm not going to hurt any of you"

He then stood up and quietly closed the door, to make sure the others don't wake up.

"Jamie, who you all would recognize as Jaemin's double, was the one who made the pod for Renjun. It's a Memory Pod, meant to give him a more peaceful way of sleeping by showing him happy memories"

He explained.

"He's right~. Renjun looks very calm and peaceful~~"

Soobin noted.

"How was Jamie-hyung able to make something like this?"

"That's simple. We're all just versions of the Fighting Dreamers from an Ethora in another dimension, known as Eterna. Since he and Jaemin are basically the same person, he's a Keyblade wielder just like him"

"That's right... Hyung can wield a Keyblade..."

"Since he and Jaemin are notably the same person but from different dimensions, some things about them will be similar, and that same fact applies for the rest of us in some ways"

"That may be true, but when it comes to Mark-hyung and Donghyuck-hyung and their doubles, their elemental powers are swapped. Why is that?"

"Keep this in mind. Even though we all may be the same person in some way, we're still completely different people and have completely different destinies and fates. Unfortunately, each of our fates brought us here to this point"

"But, if you're an Android, does that still make you the same person as dad?"

Robin sighed in response.

"I knew I felt as if someone was eavesdropping on us a few nights back... It's true that I'm an Android instead of being a Nephalem like Renjun, but that's because I used to be a Nephalem until I died in my dimension. Our Boss came across me after I died and rebuilt me into an Android, with the purpose to be the better version of Renjun that could beat him one day. Nothing more, nothing less. The Boss saved me, but I doesn't feel like I've been saved"

"What do you mean?"

"I would've preferred to have stayed dead instead of being brought back to life just to be a fake, a copy. I want to be who I was before I died, but I know that I can't. And I can't disobey my creator, since The Boss threatened to disassemble me if he ever went out of line"

"I see... but if that's the case, why haven't you killed us yet?"

"The Boss doesn't want Renjun dead yet for some reason. And even though I shouldn't feel the way that I do, I don't want to kill anyone anymore. None of us do"

Nitro realizes that his theory was just proven, and he finally feels truly sorry for them.

There's silence between them for a short while, but Robin soon breaks the silence.

"We'll let you all go"

"Let us go?? But what will your boss do to you all if we leave with dad..?"

"...Wait here. I'll be right back"

Robin ignored his question and left the room.

Robin soon returned to the room with all of his teammates, all unarmed and with no intentions of fighting.

"You're all really sure about helping us save dad?"

Nitro asked and they nodded.

"Are you all just faking that you hate him?"

"Don't get the wrong idea kid. We all hate him and our other selves, because they got the better future. And we also hate ourselves because of the past that we to endure, as well as the present that were enduring now"

Jonah frowned.

Robin on the other hand was confused with his response.

"I really hate Renjun, right down to my core..."

He paused, and he and the others just looked at Renjun, seeing him smiling a bit as he slept.

"But..., I also don't hate him. I just...feel like I have to help him"

The others immediately noted that they also felt like they should help him too, but none of them could understand why.

Regardless of their mixed feelings, Jamie destroyed the pod and Renjun fell to the floor. But Jamie successfully caught him and gently laid him on the floor.

"Listen kid. I used my power to reactivate all of Renjun's powers, but he'll be unable to heal himself until he gets enough rest, since he doesn't have much energy at the moment"

"Right. My uncle gave me this gummy. It's supposed to give him a new power to help us get out of here, so it should give him enough strength to do that. But what will you guys do once we're gone?"

"We'll tell The Boss that we were unable to get to the room in time, and we'll pretend that you saved Renjun yourself since he doesn't know about the pod"

Marshall informed them.

"And I'll say that I somehow malfunctioned and was unable to stop you"

Robin added.

Jean rolled over to the window and opened it for them to get out.

"We won't be able to protect you once you leave. This is all that we can do for you"

"The possessed heroes outside may tell The Boss that we attacked them if we do protect you further, so you're on your own"

Jonah added, and Nitro nodded.

He proceeded to get down on his knees to give Renjun the gummy, but then he stopped before standing up again.

"I know that you're all suffering. My team and I can help you, and maybe even The Boss"

"T-There's no way that you can save us..."

Cassidy sadly frowned.

"Yes we can. You don't know them like I do. I've seen them do it so many times with so many different types of people. We'll come back for you, and we will save you"

"How can you be so sure that they won't just kill us after everything we've done...?"

Jamie mumbled.

"They won't. They can give you all better lives. I know that they can, because they did the exact same thing for me when I had no one else. Renjun gave me a home, a family, and two amazing siblings that I love very much. Without him, I would still have nothing and no one..."

They all went silent after his explanation.

"...I promise that after we save our other teammates and complete our mission, we will save you"

Though they didn't want to show it, they were very happy to hear those words.

However, Damian still doesn't believe it and folded his arms while looking away from him.

"Get out"

He hissed.

"Right. Thanks. And remember my promise"

Nitro smiled.

He then got back down on his knees and opened Renjun's mouth, helping him eat the gummy. Not even seconds after he swallowed it, he woke up and started changing into a dragon.

And to their surprise, the gummy gave him enough energy to even regenerate his arms completely. Soon, he completely changed into a dragon.

But before he can make any noise, Robin quickly used his power to deactivate his voice in order not to draw any outside attention to them.

When Renjun saw the Gang Stars, he immediately backed away out of slight fear.

"Dad. It's me, Nitro. It's ok. They're helping us escape"

Nitro explained, calming him down.

Renjun looked at each of them and he smiled as a thank you. He then refocused his attention to Nitro, and nuzzled his head against him as a sign that he missed him.

TXT changed back to their Ethorian forms and silently celebrated since they finally had Renjun back.

"Now, you need to hurry and get him out of here"

Robin encouraged them.

"Your team is currently on Planet Aerus. You all would be wise to hurry before they leave for their next destination"

Damian informed them.

"Be careful, until we meet again"

Robin warned them, reactivating Renjun's voice.

Nitro nodded and he and TXT climbed onto Renjun's back before he flew out of the window. After watching them leave, the Gang Stars returned to their posts and carried out their plan to trick The Boss later.

Zhenya, Xinyi, and Noir thankfully didn't have to fight anyone, but flew with them to make sure that none of the heroes attacked them. After they successfully made it off planet, the three of them bid their goodbyes, informing them that they'd be in touch if they needed help again.

Instead of taking the long flight there, Renjun used his Meta Teleportation to teleport them straight to Planet Aerus. He began searching for his other kids by following the signals of their power, knowing that finding them would mean finding his team.

He flew as fast as he could, knowing that the limited energy from the gummy was slowly beginning to fade.
