Leaving Corona Galaxy

"Wooooow~! Our galaxy is so pretty~~!"

"I thought the same thing when I first saw it~"

I smiled at Suyun's excitement.

"You've seen it before daddy~?!"

"I have~. We were all younger back then when the HDJ was attacked. That was the day we met Xiaojun-hyung, Hendery-hyung, and YangYang. The majority of Force 127 were being controlled, as well as every other hero at the HDJ. But Renjun-hyung helped us through the whole thing. We found this very ship, and we left our galaxy to get stronger, before returning to save it. And on that journey, I met your mother~"

I smiled, thinking of the first day I met Jay.

"Was she as pretty as she is now~?"

"She was absolutely beautiful. And she was so sweet. I had never met a girl like her before. She even helped us save everyone once we got back to the HDJ. And you see how one of my eyes is different from the other?"

"Uh-huh~"

"Yuta-hyung burned me real bad while he was being controlled, but she used a healing spell to fix me up~. But I was left with this discoloration, and my eye is light blue instead of brown. But that's all fine and dandy with me now~"

"I think it suits you~"

"Why thank you sweetie~. I didn't use to think so, but the look has grown on me over the years~. But I'm really glad that you and your mother both love it~"

I gently pet her head, and she cutely giggled.

She then refocused her attention to the stars, admiring every single one of them. Gazing at the stars has always been one of her favorite things to do. She just really loves the stars.

And now that she's seeing them up close, it fills her will so much joy. Seeing her this happy,even in this stressful situation, makes me very happy.

But she became startled when the alarm system suddenly started going off.

"W-What's going on daddy??"

"I'm not really sure... Come with me"

I picked her up, and I quickly paced to the cockpit.

When we got there, I saw Xinrei frantically navigating through the map system.

It seems that he's trying to find somewhere to land.

"Is everything alright Xinrei??"

I asked.

"Yeah... Everything's fine, but we're running out of fuel. I don't know which planet we can land on to refuel. I've never researched anything passed the Corona Galaxy before..."

"I can help with that"

"You mean it hyung?"

"I do. Set a course for Planet Zudaclite in the Comet Nebula Galaxy. There's a station there where we can refuel, and even get some snacks for everyone"

"How do you know about that place daddy??"

Suyun curiously questioned.

"That's easy~. That was the first planet we landed on when we left Ethora. And it's also where I met your mother~"

"Wahhh?!?! I'm really going to see it~?!"

"You sure are sweetheart~. I'm so glad that you'll get the chance to see it~"

"This is perfect. The coordinates are set. Thanks a lot for your help hyung"

Xinrei thanked me, drinking the last of his coffee.

"Xinrei, you should really get some sleep..."

"I want to, but I have to make sure that we make it to the station. I don't want us to be stranded out in space, if we run out of fuel before we get there"

"I'll take care of that. I'll stay up and keep an eye on everything. You really need your rest. And besides, how can you help the others and Xinya when they need you if you're too tired?"

"..."

"We'll hold down the fort~"

Suyun cheered, making Xinrei smile a bit.

"I'll be off then. Thanks"

He bit us goodnight, and made his way to his shared room with Xinya.

I sat in the captain's chair and positioned Suyun in my lap. She curiously examined all of the screens that displayed different things. She seemed especially interested in the weapons system.

But then, her attitude seemed to change.

"Hey daddy?"

"Hm??"

"Do you think I'll grow up to be as strong and cool as you?"

She calmly asked, a serious look plastered on her face.

"Of course I do! Why the sudden interest in the topic??"

"You're just so amazing! And your flames are so warm and bright, and incredibly powerful! I wanna have flames like yours, and a cool Stand too! But most of the others and I only get a minimum of three powers. What if my third power doesn't give me cool flames like yours? And what if I don't get a powerful and cool Stand either...?"

She pouted and played with her fingers.

She looked generally worried and sad. She really wants to grow up to be like me, and just the thought of being less than that upsets her...

"Su... No matter what your third power is, and no matter what Stand you get, you'll still become as strong as you want to be. And even if you don't grow up to be as strong as me, that's ok. Because I know that you'll grow up to be even better than me~"

I gently kissed her forehead, and a small blush appeared on her face as her smile returned.

She excitedly hugged me, and I happily hugged her back, knowing that she was pleased with my reassurance.

About thirty minutes passed, and Suyun had fallen asleep in my arms. It's gonna be another few hours before we get to Planet Zudaclite, so I'll let her sleep like this until we get there. I know that she'll throw a fit if I don't wake her up to see the station.

Yeah... That's my girl. I wouldn't change her for the world~.
