Jeongho continued to fight with his father, but he wasn't giving it his all.

He was caught off guard multiple times, but Star Platinum successfully protected him every time.

"Just who are you trying to fool?"

Jeno suddenly spoke as they fought.

"W-What??"

"Do you think that this will make up for what you've done? You had your chance to spend time with me and accept my love, but all you've done is turn me and my affections down"

"Dad..."

"So now you want to address me as your father? Don't stop pushing me away now just because you're scared of me"

The more Jeno spoke, the more Jeongho started to get upset and began losing focus.

Not even a few minutes later, Jeno managed to knock him down and threw his weapon away from him. He pinned him down and Jeongho thought that he was going to kill him, but Jeno only snickered and got off of him.

"Pathetic. You can't save anyone. You can't even save me. You'll never be a hero, even if you really wanted to. And you'll never be my hero. Just stay out of our way, and don't show your pathetic face to me again"

Jeno pulled out a small purple orb, and threw it to the ground to create a portal a few feet away from them.

Jeno turned to walk to the portal, and Jeongho began to panic.

"Dad... P-Please wait..."

"And stop calling me that. If you didn't treat and acknowledge me as your father before, then why should I treat and acknowledge you as my son now?"

Jeno frowned.

"...Please. I need you..."

Jeongho pleaded, looking up at him from the ground.

Jeno ignored him, and turned his back to him once more.

In that split second, Jeongho became both scared and angry. He was scared of Jeno leaving him again and him failing to save his father, and he was angry that the earring was making Jeno say these things that he knows that he doesn't mean.

"Don't leave me again..."

Jeno ignored him.

"P-Please... Don't leave..."

Jeno continued to ignore him.

"D-Dad, p-please... DON'T LEAVE ME AGAIN!!"

Jeongho quickly got up and ran towards Jeno, and for the first time in years, he used Star Platinum: The World.

Time immediately stopped, preventing Jeno from reaching the portal, and Star Platinum wasted no time and attacked him.

Jeongho used Star Platinum's Ora Ora Rush, even when his time stop limit ended after two seconds, and continued using it to keep Jeno from leaving.

"ORA!!"

He hit Jeno one final time, and he went flying into a tree, already knocked unconscious from the barrage.

Jeongho threw a rock into the portal, making it disappear, and stayed still for a few seconds in order to catch his breath.

He eventually calmed down and realized what he had done, and quickly ran to Jeno's side. He examined him carefully, but started to panic when he couldn't find the earring.

"W-Where'd it go?? How could it have just disappeared??!"

"Calm down man. I have it right here"

Xinrei abruptly appeared next to him, showing off the earring in his hand.

"While you were using your Ora Ora Rush, I took the earring out of his ear while in another dimension"

He explained further.

Jeongho gently opened one of Jeno's eyes to be sure, and his eyes were indeed back to normal.

"I'm sure that you want to do the honors. You made it your own mission to save him. This is how you'll complete your mission"

Xinrei gave the earring to him, so that he could complete the process of saving Jeno himself.

Jeongho took it without hesitation and tossed it up in the air, using Star Platinum to punch and destroy it.

After making sure that the earring was destroyed, Jeongho returned his attention to his father, but immediately froze.

He just stared at Jeno, seeing how peaceful his face looked now compared to before. He held one of Jeno's hands, and subconsciously, Jeno weakly gripped his hand back.

Xinrei almost immediately noticed when Jeongho's lip began to quiver, and how he held his hand tighter. He got down to his knees, and rested his hand on his shoulder.

"You did it man. You saved him. You brought him back to us all by yourself, and with your own power. Turns out that you're not his enemy after all. You truly are his hero Jeongho"

Xinrei softly spoke and smiled at him.

Jeongho instantly burst into tears and tightly hugged Jeno, unable to keep up his tough guy facade any longer. He didn't cry for long, and quickly calmed himself down, knowing that it wasn't safe to stay out in the open like they were.

He stood up and used Star Platinum to pick up Jeno. He froze again for a second, but abruptly hugged Xinrei too, quietly thanking him. Xinrei wasn't used to hugging him, but still hugged him back with one arm.

He would've used his other arm, but when he grabbed the earring, Star Platinum ended up hitting him in the process.

Jeongho noticed this, and let go of him after hearing him groan a bit.

"Dude, your arm... I did that didn't I...? I'm sorry... I should've been more careful..."

"Don't worry about it man... It's fine"

"That's easy for you to say... But this may limit your ability to fight now, and it's all my fault..."

"I can still fight without using this arm. And besides, the only thing that mattered to me in that moment was helping you get your dad back to you. But let's head back and meet up with the others. We need to get back on the ship as soon as possible"

"Right..."

The three of them made their way to the others to regroup, staying on guard just in case they were attacked again.

Once they regrouped, Xinrei took out the ship's case and released the vehicle, allowing everyone to climb aboard.

Jeno, Taeyong, and Jaehyun were successfully healed, and were resting in the ship's infirmary beds.

Xinya, Mark, and Chan tended to Xinrei, while Jeongho sat by Jeno's bed and watched.

"Well Xinrei, it does appear that you broke your arm when you took the earring. Star Platinum must've hit you pretty hard..."

Chan informed me, with a worried look on his face.

"That's no problem~. We can fix it easily~"

Mark cheered.

"We can??"

"How hyung??"

"Renjun installed different types of healing devices in this ship for situations just like this. He knew that they would come in handy if he wasn't around, or if he didn't have enough energy to heal someone. Since it's just a broken arm, we can use this small device over here~"

Mark informed.

Chan gently placed Xinrei's arm under the small healing device while Mark operated the machine. In a matter of minutes, Xinrei's arm was completely healed, and Xinya carefully wrapped it up to make sure that he kept it rested until they would arrive at their next destination.

"See? I told you it was nothing. You worry too much"

Xinrei smiled and showed Jeongho that he was completely fine, bringing immediate relief to him.

And as if on cue, Jeno, Jaehyun, and Taeyong started waking up, bringing excitement to everyone in the room.
