I woke up with my body aching all over, but that wasn't the only thing that I was confused about.

I was in a bed, but this wasn't my bedroom. And Hyuck is right next to me waking up as well, but when did we get in this bed together?

I don't even remember falling asleep?

"D-Dad! You're awake!"

"Daddy~! You're ok~!"

I was suddenly hugged tightly by Minkyu, and Suyun tightly hugged Donghyuck.

But, when did they get here? Why aren't we at home getting ready for the party? What happened to Nora, Renjun, and the others???

"Huh?? Why wouldn't I be alright? Wait. Where are we?? And why aren't we leaving for the party??"

Donghyuck questioned Suyun, observing our surroundings.

"The party was two days ago... We came here after the attack"

She answered, but Hyuck only became more confused by her words.

I gently pet Minkyu's head to calm him down a bit. I don't understand why he's so upset, but this usually calms him down.

Wait...

Wait a minute!

"Where's Jonah?! Where'd he run off to?! Did he hurt any of you?! No... Wait. This isn't the same place where I fought him. Minkyu. Where exactly are we?"

"H-Huh? We're at a place called District 9"

"District 9... Oh yeah! This is the district that's protected by Stray Kids. This must be their HQ then right? But, why are we here??"

"Never mind that for now hyung. What we want to know is who's Jonah?"

Hyuck looked exceptionally interested in the topic.

"Right. I guess I never got to tell you all for some reason. Jonah Lyee is one of the guys we were trying to track down. Specifically, he's the one that looks like Jeno. He's the one that I chased down and fought with when I left on my mission. All that I remember is fighting him and losing, and he put an earring in my ear. Then at some point, I remember seeing you, and now I'm here. I don't remember anything else after that"

I explained.

"The last thing that I remember is you hugging me and giving me an earring just like the one you had, and now I'm here. I don't remember anything after that"

Hyuck confessed.

"We thought we heard familiar voices~"

"Welcome back~"

Shotaro and Sungchan suddenly entered the room, smiling brightly upon seeing us.

"Hey guys~. Maybe you know what happened. We barely remember anything up to this point. Is there a reason why were here??"

I asked, and they nodded.

"You and Donghyuck-hyung were being controlled by the same very guys that we were trying to defeat. They ambushed all of us at the party. Junsung, Xuefen, Sungmin, Suyun, Jeongho, Minkyu, Xinya, Xinrei, Sungchan, and I are the only ones that made it here, escaping their control. Renjun and Nitro aren't under their control either, but we're still in the dark here"

"Renjun helped us escape and sent us here, and stayed behind to fight everyone else. And Nitro stayed behind to find a way to save him"

"You two seem to only recall certain events, and that's because of when each of you received an earring. Mark-hyung received it days before the party, while Donghyuck-hyung received it just before you all left for the party. That's why now, you don't remember anything from while you were under its control, not even the party itself"

They explained.

I guess that makes sense...

"Wait wait wait. Force 127, all of us Fighting Dreamers, and BTS were at that party... Are you saying that all of them are still there, under their control?? Not a single one of them made it out...?"

Hyuck hesitantly asked, and they nodded.

"But... Then how did we get here...?"

"They sent both of you here to come after us. We're guessing that they were either planning to have you kill us, or capture us and take us back to them. At the party, they used Mark-hyung to attack Chenle, and they used Donghyuck-hyung to try and attack the kids. But, Renjun-hyung stopped both of you before you could. That's when we got ambushed"

Shotaro explained further.

Chenle...

Did I really try to attack you...?

"I really tried to attack all of you...?"

Hyuck sadly asked Suyun, terrified by what he's done.

"You did... But it wasn't your fault!"

She tried reassuring him.

"You all must've been so scared, especially you and Minkyu... And to think I could've hurt the babies too... They must've been terrified... I'm so sorry..."

"Nooo! Don't cry daddy! It's not your fault! And we're all fine! What's important is that you and Uncle Marky are back with us~!"

She gently wiped away Hyuck's tears, and they shared a nice loving hug together.

"But, what about Nora and the others back at home?? They're all ok right??"

I asked, worried for them greatly.

"Now that you mention them, Xinrei and Chan-hyung called Suko and told her what was going on. Apparently, they had already seen it on the news before they called. They all tried contacting each of you, but none of you answered. But after Xinrei told them everything, they agreed to stay put and out of harm's way"

Well that's a relief...

I'm really glad that they're safe...

"U-Uncle Renjunie asked us to travel to many worlds to find all of his hero friends. He told us not to go back until we found them all"

Minkyu added.

"He wants us to gather an army... He always was the one to come up with great ideas. He knows that it would be dangerous for us to go back too soon. We just have to trust that he and Nitro can manage on their own for now"

"We've recruited Stray Kids already then?"

Hyuck asked, pulling himself together.

"Mhm~. This is one of their guest rooms. There's food in the kitchen if you and Uncle Marky are hungry~"

Suyun excitedly cheered.

"That sounds great to me. And we can finally catch up with them while we eat. We haven't seen them in so long"

"Let's go then~"

Hyuck jumped out of bed, and both he and Suyun ran to the kitchen.

It's nice to see him in good spirits again.

I got out of bed and took Minkyu's hand, and the rest of us made our way to the kitchen.

He soon let go of my hand and tightly held onto my arm as we walked. He's too shy to say it, but I know that he missed me a lot.

I just wish this whole mess hadn't happened in the first place...
